Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai

Lillian looked at Rhiannon's glittering eyes and the piercings on her nose and ears. They both knew this was pointless.
"Hello, Rhiannon." She sighed. was there really any use in this?
"Rhiannon, look. Both of us know fully what you've done. There's no turning back from it. But maybe I can help you in any way just...vent? Just talk? So you won't take out your anger on other innocent people?"

Rhiannon was laughing an icy cold laugh. That was obviously not going to happen, as she should've expected. Rhiannon wasn't about to share a dam thing with her, nor with anyone else but possibly Austin or her mother. Rhi was, essentially, an uncooperative prisoner. She wouldn't listen, wouldn't do what Lillian asked of her, she was unlike anyone Lillian had ever met. Ruder, uglier, crueler...more than anyone. Lillian knew she should probably be talking to Rhiannon about what she hated about muggle borns, half-bloods, why didn't she like them and how was she raised, but there was nothing to it. She wasn't going to force Rhiannon to answer, it would defeat the purpose or working with her. So it was like a detention.

"Then sit there and think about what you've done." Lillian said hopelessly. So Rhiannon did. She sat and dwelled on the unicorn blood while eating chocolate. And she loved it.

Fionna saw the girl she remembered to be Tierra stand up. She had probably come down here right after sparrow went up to the dorm room. Fionna almost snapped at her for not interfering with the fight, but who would interfere with two boys on a rampage? Fionna was utterly confused by the Italian and was glad for the translation, but she wasn't sure she liked the translation much.

When Caiden took his wand back out and pointed it at Lucas, Fionna almost pounced on him to stop him, but she realized his intentions were not to harm and she was able to restrain herself from doing so.

Fionna was hurt by the coldness she was receiving from both boys. What had she done! Stopped them from killing each other is all! They were making it seem like she was the bad guy in this situation. Her necklace pulsed with the continuous red ruby as she followed along behind Caiden making sure to stay in between him and Lucas.

Fionna stepped ahead of Caiden when they got to the office though which wasn't all that hard since he was limping on his ankle. Taking a glance backwards, it wasn't until then that she noticed that Lucas' arm was bleeding rapidly. Great. How had she been oblivious to that before? Oh well, the Headmistress would fix them both u and straighten things out.

She didn't even bother to knock on the door. She waved her wand and the doors burst open as she walked through them and she exclaimed to the headmistress, "Headmistress. I just stopped these two from fighting in the great hall. Caiden claims to be protecting me from Lucas who is a danger to me and Lucas says he was only defending himself. Of course, I believe them both, but things need to be straightened out. I would hope that..." Fionna trailed off as she noticed another figure in the office besides the headmistress. Rhi was sitting in a chair eating chocolate in silence. Fionna's eyes bore into the girl with a death stare. She was so furious right now and seeing that no good piece of trash made her anger deepen if even possible.

User Image

Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai

Lillian raised her eyebrows at first in suprise when three students walked in. Fionna looking angry, Lucas having an eye that looked clumsily healed, and Caiden limping.

Lucas didn't like that Caiden had healed his eye, he would've done it himself if he knew how, he rather Lillian had done it. He appreciated the gesture but wasn't ready to forgive him right now. Especially not when he attacked Lucas in this office for being a werewolf, or started feeling sorry for him. He knew the Headmaster was just going to recount his story again, and it wasn't that it didn't need to be said, he just didn't want to hear it.

Rhiannon smiled wickedly at Fionna and said,
"I'm here to learn to be a good little girl, just like you, Fionna."
The sarcasm was extremely apparent. Rhiannon gave a small icy laugh, tinkling, like poisoned honey. She leaned back on the chair and The Headmistress gave her a quick glare before turning back to Fionna.

"Very well. No one is getting healed," She glanced at Lucas's bleeding arm and Caiden's limp and Lucas's red eye" until I find out one thing. Caiden, who told you. I have a vague idea here, but I want to know."
She glared at Rhiannon again. Rhiannon had most likely told her, it seemed like something Rhiannon would do. Rhiannon was genuinly a bit suprised, she had done no such thing, she'd never even met Caiden. Still, to be fair, Lillian waved her wand and sent a note out the door.
"We'll wait until Al get's here." She said calmly, sitting back down.

In about two minutes flat, Al ran into the office with a golden note in her hand. Nothing was even written on it. If she ever got a note, it just meant come straight to my office. Al was there, out of breath and said,
"I'm here....what...?" But the answer was written all over her mom's face and the chosen people in the room told her. It wasn't about Rhiannon, or Rose would be here. Caiden knew too.
"I didn't tell. My lips have been sealed." She said, straightening up.

"I believe you, then." Lillian said, not about to question her own daughter who she kept a fairly close eye on in the first place.
"Caiden?" She she said questioningly. The time to confess was now, whoever told him had to be in the room.

xxxxxCaiden had never been in the headmistresses office for being in trouble before, and he wasn't about to start giving himself away. He stood there, waiting for someone else to speak, and many people had. The girl in the office previously spoke, Sparrow spoke, even Al managed to get up there and speak. They could speak for him, and that would be that.

He actually looked away when the headmistress spoke to him. His eyes locked on Lucas's arm, but he hadn't been thinking about him at all. He just kept his thoughts, and more importantly, his speaking to himself. Caiden wasn't about ready to tell how he had found all this out. If Lucas hadn't been so obvious about the whole thing and making things easier for Caiden to track, they wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place. None of this was his fault; Caiden was just trying to protect Sparrow, and yet, he was the one in trouble here. How did that work out? He didn't see any of this as fair anymore, and until someone else told him the truth, he wasn't speaking.

Fionna stood her ground as she stared at Rhi she just continued to bore her eyes into her until they flashed towards the headmistress. Who told him? Of course! Fionna had been so worked up about the fact that Caiden had found out and she hadn't even thought about how.

She waited until Al got here though. She completely believed her when she said she had not told anybody. Then it must be the only other person that knew. Rhi. Fionna immediately pulled out her wand and took a few steps toward Rhi. "It was you wasn't it! Admit it! NOW!" She yelled at her. Fionna was unable to control herself right now. Somebody had told about Lucas' secret and they had to pay. Fionna was staring at Rhi with her wand pointed at her. Her mental composure was breaking apart at the seams. All the stress from the previous weeks was building up.

((POSTING AS LUCAS AS WELL, DEVON IS TELLING ME WHAT TO TYPE))User Image

Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai

Lucas had thought that Caiden found out on his own from spying, but come to think of it, it very well might have been Rhiannon. After all, since he hated Caiden, he wouldn't think of Caiden as smart enough to figure it out. Not to mention that Rhiannon seriously had no rights here anyways, so might as well make her sit around and tell. Really it sounded more probable to Lucas's ears that Rhiannon hinted to Caiden to get back at Fionna and Lucas being a couple than Caiden figuring it out. Infact, the former sounded pretty darn likely. But then...his wand was flying out of his hand again and he realized how little choice he really had in what was happening. He could honestly say that he only felt bad for Al right now, who had done nothing and yet was standing there without a wand watching this.

Lillian had disarmed Fionna when Fionna whipped out the wand. She also disarmed Caiden, Lucas, Rhiannon, and her own daughter.
"Now I want everyone to remain calm. Fionna, we'll find a way to see who actually told. Rhiannon, since you have no rights in this school, since you are here by my protection, It's not too difficult to see why you're suspect."
Lillian put the 5 wands on her desk and stood there with her own. She opened a small, clear bottle and held it up for all to see.
"Veritaserum." She said clearly, holding it up.
"We'll find out for sure, now."

Lillian walked over to Rhi who was standing there, shocked. Lillian didn't really believe Rhiannon was innocent, in fact, Rhiannon being guilty was the most likely thing right now. So she dripped 3 drops of the clear potion down Rhiannon's throat and was, to say the least, quite shocked by what spilled out of her mouth.

Rhiannon didn't care at the wand pointing at her when it was Fionna, she just rolled her eyes. She did, however, mind sitting here without her own.
Then...the worst. She gaped at the Headmaster. Was she serious? FOR ONCE, she didn't do it, and she was getting blamed for it. This wasn't justice! But of course, she had no rights. No choice. She clenched her hands into fists and took it with a horrible look of disgust on her face. Soon, she couldn't control what she was saying.

She fell on her knees, her fists on the floor, and spoke in a monotone voice, her head reeling. "I have never before met Caiden in my life and never before have I told STOP IT! Lucas's secret, I admire the werewolf because I NO know Fenrir greyback I was related to the pureblood werewolves and all the purebloods families are interconnected so when MAKE IT STOP Voldmort's army was defeated all my beloved family was sent to NO Azkaban and it was seen as a noble thing to do, to die for the dark Lord, I was used as bait for kids like Lucas I was STOP IT PLEASE STOP used to lure kids into the forest, young boys and girls and I led them to the woods were the werewolves would feed on them and rip them apart, the night that Lucas was transformed into a werewolf I knew him because NO NO NO I had seen him before, NO MORE that's how I knew him not only because I STOPP hate monsters but because I had seen him get torn apart. Lucas was unconscious in the woods when his friends were torn apart before his eyes by the wolves, when people came for him, I was the one who OH GOD NO kept him safe. The wolves were transforming back and I felt awful since that was one of my first times watching them get slaughtered so Lucas is technically alive because of me PLEASEEE because I had dragged Lucas's bloody mangled body out of there before he died, I pretended to be a young innocent girl who just found him and MERCY I brought hm to a place where he'd be found, PLEASE NO, I didn't visit Lucas and never had I seen him until I just saw him at Hogwarts, and I gave up on finding him because his parents moved him and kept him locked away in his room, that's why Lucas was the only one of them to survive because I was so young I could only carry one of them away....."

The truth telling syrum started to wear off and Rhiannon sat there, gasping for breath. Everything was revealed. She couldn't look anyone in the face.

Fionna was about to cast a spell on Rhi when she no longer felt her wand in her hand. She blinked confused for a moment before she turned to see it in the Headmistress' hand. She placed in on the desk and Fionna realized what she had been about to do. She backed up a bit and watched as the Headmistress gave Rhi some truth telling serum. That was better than what FIonna had been about to do.

Fionna's draw dropped before the tail was finished. She couldn't help but dart her eyes back and forth between Lucas and Rhi. "You. She. Saved. No way." Fionna said in unfinished sentences. This was completely unfathomable. Rhi had actually saved Lucas? Fionna couldn't help but wonder if this was before she had drank the unicorn blood.

Still, this showed that Rhi was innocent in spilling about Lucas' secret. She turned to Caiden and said, "Then how did you find out." She stared at him. Was it possible she was doubting Caiden's wit and that he had been smart enough to figure this out and connect the signs. Fi herself had been too caught up in everything but the signs were there. Maybe others caught them. If this was the case, Fionna would be sure to help Lucas take some extra precautions.

Lucas was shocked to say the very least. Rhiannon...had saved him? Rhiannon. Saved his life. What, NO? He was like..10 almost 11ish when he was bitten so she was...what, 8? 9? That's horrible! His eye wasn't swollen as badly, the curse was wearing off and he could see her clearly. He felt like he should do something, help her up? He owed her, HER, his life? That just...it didn't...well it actually did make sense...still it just...his mind was reeling. He wanted to throw up or pass out, he felt unbelievably dizzy right now. He stared at her, eyes wide. Fionna's sentences just about summed it up.

Rhiannon was still on the floor, black hair in front of her face, lank, and fists on the ground. This must've been before she drank the unicorn blood, since no one who's done that would've then saved his life. He needed to sit down or something, he felt awful. He couldn't do anything but feel that weird weighted sense in his chest. He owed her, HER, his life. It made sense why she knew it was him that was a werewolf. She pretended not to, though. She pretended as though she just met him, like she never knew him. She fought Fionna and taunted Fionna about liking him. Said she knew more about him than anyone. And it was all true. It made sense...Rhiannon wasn't a liar, after all.

"Well...t-thanks...I...guess..." He said awkwardly to Rhiannon. He let his hair go back to keeping his face in shadow. He didn't know what to think. Did this change anything? Did this mean she was going to demand stuff of him now, like would he need to help her out if she asked? Would he magically indebted? He'd heard of things, ((Peter Petigrew and HP)) where when a magical person saves another's life, you kinda owe them. Did this meant he owed Rhi? Weel safe to say he didn't hate her as much now. he'd always wondered why he'd been the only one to survive. Safe to say he knew now.

Headmistress Lillian Van Nikolai

Lillian and Al were both thunderstruck and had no idea what to say. Lillian knew for a fact this had to be before she drank unicorn blood, once that blood touches your lips, there was no being nice. She was amazed that a young girl had managed to drag him out of the woods. That she'd been used to lure kids to become werewolves. Lillian said in a bit of a shaky voice,

"Well it's safe to say you haven't told his secret." She looked at Caiden. So did Al. Al kept the tears from welling in her eyes. It was horrible. Again, like in the court hearing, there was just no word gruesome enough to describe it. Rhiannon had saved Lucas's life and Lucas had no idea. Rhiannon had looked for him, loved him? Maybe it was that young blond haired boy that filled the void in her life, knowing she'd done some good, and without him, she resorted to doing bad, the only other thing she knew how? Maybe Al was just trying to find excuses and looking for the good in Rhi when there was none. She felt a sinking, guilty feeling for assuming the worst of Rhiannon. She couldn't look anyone in the face, either.

It had been her only real secret left. She had nothing left to her name. She'd wanted to take that to her grave, but obviously couldn't now. She was so cheesy...truth was, she really had saved Lucas. She could still remember his disgusting limp form when she'd pulled it out of the woods and her relatives, death eaters, had run off to leave them to die. She'd walked through the pools of blood to where the only live one left lay, groaning in a puddle of his own fluids and helped move him. And now he knew. Perhaps that was why she'd kissed him. Looked for him for a bit. But then she'd given up.

"You're welcome. I can assure you, it was no easy task." She still didn't look at anyone. "So it's safe to say my name's cleared." She said sarcastically after the Headmistress spoke. "Great."

This didn't change much. She had still drank unicorn blood, she still was cursed, she still had a half life. She still hated half bloods and muggle borns, and she would always think of Lucas as a monster. But really, the reason why she thought of the beasts as monsters, is because of what she saw them do. She was forced to watch young boys get their throats out. Who could say that the ones that did it, weren't monsters? It was just different...because the monsters had been her family. So what was she supposed to think? She loved her family and hated it when they got dragged away. But her family was monsters for doing what they had done, though she'd never really admit to that. So...she loved monsters. And she was one of them.

xxxxxCaiden had been listening the whole time, frozen by disbelief in what this girl in front of him had been saying. It was very unlike him to let a girl spill all of her secrets and to cover up a story. Usually he would have cut them off for accusing her, but something about this girl was intriguing to him, and he wanted to hear what she had to say. Once she started, though, he was almost frozen by fear. Everything she had been saying was such a terrifying memory, and he could almost see it before his eyes. The thing that frightened him the most, though, is that similar things were happening in the united states when he was back there. His sister had been attacked by one of the new werewolves, which was why she got away. He was clumsy, the werewolf, and his sister was attacked, buy not scratched or bitten. She did fall in the process and hurt herself pretty tremendously, but the hospital cleared her afterwards.

When she finished, he was dazed. He listened as people wrapped up after the story, and Caiden listened as Sparrow began interrogating him. He straightened up as much as he could with his sore ankle, and looked down to hide as much as he could. How could he say that he had been snooping around in Lucas's private business? He did think he was doing if for a good cause, but for some reason, he was starting to feel that Lucas wasn't as dangerous as he made him out to be. He looked up at Sparrow and said "I saw all the grey hairs at first, and then I saw all the circled dates in his Calendar, and then he licked his finger strangely, and the scar on the back of his neck! I mean, he seemed like a threat! He still does! He's a werewolf, right?! They are dangerous. I know from experience! My older sister was attacked by one when we were little!" He was defending his actions, and he thought that it was all by good cause. After seeing what it had done to his older sister, he couldn't possibly let that happen to Sparrow. He kept that story a secret because he didn't want anyone to find out that his sister didn't want to know about the incident. She was always the top of her class, and for those to hear that she had been attacked and couldn't protect herself would be detrimental to her school career. But now seemed like a good time to think about this.

Caiden looked at the headmistress, waiting for her questions. He couldn't even look at Lucas, knowing what he was now. It just pained him too much to think. He was happy none of his family were here, although they were all great wizards and witches and could now protect themselves from any harm. His sister had just graduated from the school in the States, and now, she was moving on to be an Auror, which was exactly what Caiden had aspired to be by himself. He stood there, hands in his pockets, waiting for some scorn or disdain for what he had done. He knew it was coming, but he didn't think that it would be too horrible since he did it out of good intentions, and he was right about it as well. "If you're going to punish me for being right, and for doing what I thought was best, Headmistress, go right ahead," he said in a very hurtful tone. He wanted them to know that he felt all of this was wrong, and he hoped that they could see that as well.

Lillian didn't want to punish Caiden if he had infact been acting for the best. She took a deep breath and healed Caiden's ankle fully. She nodded to the still stricken Lucas, and he stepped forward. She healed his arm and eye completely.
"Both of you. Now that you can stand and see eachother completely, I want this to be the only time I say this. Lucas, be a bit more cautious. You weren't in the wrong here. Caiden, you weren't in the wrong either, you were just trying to protect Fionna and it isn't wrong to look out for your peers. However both of you are going to shake hands now. Caiden, you must swear to not tell anyone of Lucas's secret or risk expulsion. And when you both are done with that, the only punishment I'm giving you two is to go down to the Great Hall and repair the damage you did from your fight.
And as for you, Rhiannon, I apologize for assuming the worst of you though when you have commited the crimes you have..." (She didn't say them since Caiden didn't know about her killing unicorns, that wasn't her deepest darkest secret, after all...) "I find it difficult to think well of people who act in a way that suggests otherwise. You, Fionna, and Al are dismissed unless there are any further questions."

She wasn't frowning, she wasn't angry. But she of course wasn't exactly thrilled. She didn't give a stern look to any of them, but didn't smile. None of them were on her bad side, it had been the greatest of misunderstandings. She could only hope it wouldn't happen again.

Fionna just watched Caiden waiting for his answer. To be honest, she wasn't all that surprised that he had figured it out on his own. Caiden was smart and observant, but that meant that Lucas needed to kept things a little bit more on the down low.

She was surprised to find out that Caiden's sister had been attacked by a werewolf. He had never told her that before. Sure a lot of werewolves were dangerous and all could be if out of control, but Lucas was under control with wolfsbane and had never hurt a human ever. "They are dangerous, but can be controlled. Not all are vicious. They have a bad reputation from the few that are and the many from the wizarding war." Fionna said a bit weakly. She felt the need to defend Lucas, but she didn't want to argue about it. "It's understandable how you made that connection though..." Fionna added trailing off.

Fionna was glad to see the Headmistress heal both Caiden and Lucas. She had been a bit worried about Lucas' blood loss and Caiden's ankle. Fionna walked up to the Headmistress' desk and picked up all of their wands. She figured it was fine to take them back and she walked back over to Lucas and Caiden. She held all their wands waiting for Lucas and Caiden to shake hands and for them to take them back.

Lucas was still so stricken. He nodded, he should've been more careful. Still, he wasn't expecting anyone to watch him that closely and he couldn't prevent his gray hair, he didn't know anyone would go through his schedule, and it was sheer reaction and instinct when he licked the blood off his finger. He felt like he should've known it was Caiden based on his suspicious actions, he just didn't want to believe Caiden was that smart. He resented Caiden for, not only discovering his secret, but for wanting Lucas and Fionna separated. He doubted Caiden thought a werewolf a very suitable match.

Nevertheless, he took his wand back, tucked it in his pocket, then held out his hand for Caiden to shake.
When he did, Lucas smiled a bit weakly. He gave his thanks to the Headmistress and couldn't stop his eyes from darting back to Fionna. He didn't want to upset her and he was waiting for that gem around her neck to turn pink. Like he loved it at that color. He couldn't look at Rhiannon, he couldn't bear to see her face. The features that had rescued him from sure death. He just couldn't see it.

xxxxxKeep his secret? He still didn't even trust Lucas, let alone keep his secret! None of this seemed very fair to Caiden, although he guessed that it wasn't very fair of him to snoop around in Lucas's things or to assume the worst of him. Yet, they all wanted Caiden to move on as if nothing had happened, and that nothing will be different now. Everything would be different from now on. They should have seen that coming at the very least. Caiden put pressure on his ankle as soon as he felt the pain go away, and was relieved that there was no longer a swelling feeling coming from his ankle. He didn't like muscle pain, although he assumed that most people didn't anyway. He could deal with cuts and bruises, but there was something about muscle pain and broken bones that frightened him. He figured that reason was most likely due to his little sisters death. Caiden had not seen blood come from her sisters body other than from her ears and from her mouth a little. She had broken twelve ribs, fractured both her arms, and broke her right leg in two. He remembered that day as if it were yesterday, because it usually played over and over in his head these days when he felt alone.

He watched as Lucas took his wand and hold out his hand as a truce, with an offered weak smile to go along with it. Caiden felt as if he was being forced into this hole thing, and it took him a little bit before he could even get the nerve to walk close to Lucas. Once he did, though, he just went with the motions. He nodded to what the headmistress had said, and shook Lucas's hand, then taking his wand from Fionna. "I will not spill your secret. But, the moment that you use any of that power against anyone, believe me, you won't want to cross me." Caiden took a few steps back, hoping that his words were heard. Caiden still didn't trust Lucas, but he would give him the benefit of the doubt for now. He turned to leave, but he guessed that the headmistress would not have given him permission to yet. He thought he would ask away anyway. "May I leave to go clean up the Great Hall?" he asked, turning to face her out of respect and honor.
