Danielle was walking by and had heard the conversation. "Why are ya'll going shopping?" Danielle asked.

Regina hurried down the stairs with her over the shoulder bag. "Yeah yeah. We have 3 hours before malls and stores close, that's not enough time?"

With a couple glares from the other girls she sighed. "Okay okay... I'm not a big shopper you know. If it's blue, and fits... I'll probably be done. Anyone color coordinating with their date?"

"Ummmm...." Penny looked a little lost on that one.

"Yeah, me neither. I just read it somewhere." Regina laughed. "Don't worry, I don't think it matters. Let's just go already."

" what a flipping day" she muttered to herself while walking down the street. She had been comfortable. Playing cards with Toad and Avalanch when her parents had burst in. They had claimed it as intervention. Instead they had drug her out of the house. Down to a salon where they had forced her to dye her hair back to normal and get a respectable trim and dropped her back off at the institute. Then they had drove off. Noko almost grinned. She knew where they were headed. To the family vacation home in Mexico. So once out of the institute she headed down to her favorite stylist. Cut her hair in a short bob and dyed it purple. Once she was done she headed back to the institute but only managed to run into regina. " Oof!" she said stepping backwards. " Sorry. Ones mind tends to wander after the day like today. " she said attempting to be apologetic when she felt like crap on the inside.

Jacen had bid everyone farewell well before they all left the school grounds. He decided to go and relax at the park. Nothing better on a balmy spring day than to lay out on the grass in the sun. He did enjoy being back in the real world if nothing more than for that simple pleasure. After maybe forty-five minutes of him lightly naping, he decided it best he get moving. He had things to do, unfortunately. Slowly, he got up and started to head out on the farthest side of the park, towards the business district.

The further down the road he got, he realized that he'd left his cash back at home. No wonder he didn't get any food today at school. "Dammit," he muttered as he started to jog back home. Steadily, he ran faster, if nothing more than to get his stuff taken care of.

When he got back into the house, he saw Avalanche, Toad, and the Blob all lounging around, playing a rather nice and expensive looking video game system. It looked rather out of place in this hovel.

"Come on, guys, it's my turn!," Jacen heard Toad exclaim as he marched up to his room. Lance and Fred were laughing at Toad when Jacen shut his door and flipped on the light. Much to his surprise, there was a rather sharp looking black suit hanging from his closet door. As he looked at it, he saw that there was a small note pinned to it.

For a moment, Jacen read it, crumpled it up, and threw it to the ground. "How did Emma know about this? Better yet, how did she get inside the house?," he asked himself, "What the hell does she want from me?"

Feeling a bit annoyed, Jacen opened up the blinds on his window, opened said window, and climbed out on the rooftop to try and clear his mind. Unfortunately, as he lit a cigarette, he could only think about the last line of that note. "Jacen, my offer still stands, and I do expect to hear from you soon."

OOC: I don't recall Spike ever showing up before in this RP, so feel free to use him however you wish. Preferably the path that leads to the most humiliating death possible.

OOC: Kitten, hope you don't mind me taking Noko with us. I just wanted to move on tonight since I'm hoping tomorrow night or saturday we end up at the prom.

IC:

"Sounds like something mine would do," Penny grumbled and then looked at her watch, "Okay ladies, everybody who is going to the mall needs to head out now. Noko, would you like to go with us? We're dress shopping for the prom. You can find a get up to knock those guys of yours onto their collectives asses."

Noko thought about it for a moment, "Couldn't hurt."

Penny took a head count real quick, "Dammit, we have to take the soccer mom van."

"But I don't have a date, so I don't ahve to go," Dani said. Penny took her by the arm and lead her towards the garage.

"It's okay Dani, we have plenty of boys around here and plenty of time for you to find a date." She smiled.

Twenty minutes later they were at the shopping center at the edge of the mall. Them and about fifty million other girls who were shopping at the last minute.

"Red, I think I need something red," Penny said and threw her purse onto her shoulder. It had been a long time gone since she actually went shopping for a dress. This was going to be fun.

Regina looked around at the dresses. She wanted to stick with blue of some kind, it was her favorite color and it would match kurt. "Gods I'm such a dork..." she muttered, hoping no one was around to question why she would say something like that. She drifted over to Noko.

"What color are you thinkin of going in? And hopefully with someone?" she commented. "I bet we could sneak your boyfriend john in."

"I don't know why I told them I'd do this, but I suppose it'll make me
appear fairly normal. Though, why people subject themselves to this sort
of thing is beyond me. I never understood school dances." Teagan murmured
to herself as she wandered down the ailes, looking for some form of a
dress to wear to the prom. She had agreed to go, after having mistakingly
mentioned it to her foster parents. They immediately told her to go shop
for a dress.
"Perhaps something green." She laughed, picking up a small green dress and
looking at it. She felt a little sheepish, which was unlike her.
There are just so many girls here. She thought to herself.
She wasn't normally the type to be uncomfortable around people though.
I guess it's just because I don't really know anyone yet. She thought
laughing as she put the dress back down and continued looking for one to wear.
