Bavira nodded and carried Jack back onto hte ship, and then he transformed back. "Is she okay, Kenshin?"

Kenshin nodded. "Yes. Though, what worries me is that she's naught but a child."

The little girl peeked out from her shell to identify the voices. Her eyes fell on Jack and started to sparkle with tears. "Maw...ma? Mawma!!!" Her limbs shot out and she fled to jack, pouncing him in a hug. "Mawma! Mawmaaaa~~~!!!" Tears, big as gems poured from her eyes. "Mawmaaaa~~~~!"

Kenshin blinked in surprise. "Apparently, Jack, you resemble her mother." He paused in thought. "Wait a moment." He walked to the side of the ship and held up a shell to his ear. "This is Kenshin, Red Dragon for the Royal Family. What have you heard on the Sky Turtles." He nodded his head as he listened. "Understood." He put the shell away. "Bad news you two..."

Kenshin stood before Jack and Bavira. "The sky turtles' home was attacked by sky pirates days ago. According to the sardines and the sky dragons, that girl is the first survivor they have heard about."

The little girl slowly quieted as she was rocked by Jack. She stuck her thumb in her mouth, sucking on it silently.

Bavira looked down at the girl worriedly. "That's not good at all."

Bavira nodded. "Yeah. Though, I don't know how I feel abotu suddenly having a family before we're properly prepared. But we'll manage." He attempted to touch her head, but her wide eyes snapped open and stared at him.

The girl stared at Bavira in uncertainty, then she seemed to notice the aura between the two of them. "Pawpa?"

Bavira blushed. "H-Huh!?"

The girl smiled and reached for Bavira. "Pawpa!"

Bavira blushed more and took her in his arms. He looked so awkward and nervous. It was funny and cute at the same time.

Kenshin refrained from snickering. "Ah...she is most definitely still a newborn. Most likely, she has no name either. Then again, sea turtles don't often name their young..."

The girl giggled at the name. "Fay-fay!!!"

Bavira smiled. "Looks like she's okay with the name."

Fay giggled as she was tickled.

Kenshin thought about it. "Well,l she's a sky turtle. And sky turtle's eat sky fish. Though, as you all are seafarers and, seeing as my King doesn't yet know the concept of flight, normal fish will be just fine. Yes. Fish, squid, and octopus should be suitable for feeding her."

Bavira chuckled. "So, basically, most of the thigns I can fish up, she can eat. That's good. We won't have to worry about her going hungry."

Kenshin nodded. "Quite right! Thought, as she IS a turtle, it'd be best to keep her hidden when sharks are near. Sky turtle children are a delicacy to sharks, but once a sky turtle grows older into an adult, the turtle becomes able to eat the sharks, and thus, are left alone."

Fay giggled as Jack smiled down at her. Then she stopped, her face screwing up as she began to cry.

Kenshin chuckled. "And there is your first time to feed her."

Bavira nodded and ran to grab a fishing rod. In a few minutes, he caught a few fish for Fay to eat. "Uh...do we cook them or...!?"

Before he could finish his question, Fay flew from Jack's arms and ate one fis in one gulp, even the tail. Then she ate all the other fish Bavira just caught. "Yummy! Fishy! Yummy!" She rolled onto her back and spun on her shell, happily.
