Wei licked his fork clean with a slight wrinkle to his nose, much too sweet for his liking. "How so?" He asked, green eyes flickering upon the boy's rustled form for a moment before wandering up to his eyes.

Pulling up arms to rest around the other's neck in an almost habitual pattern, Haro pulled himself closer towards the tiger, as if Shin would simply vanish if he didn't have a good hold on him...
Haro didn't know when he had started crying, or why for that matter, but soon enough he could feel salty tears running down flushed cheeks before pooling around his chin to either fall down Shin's hand gracefully or be soaked up into his shirt. Whining rather pathetically against the other's lips, Haro squeezed his eyes shut in an attempt to stop crying.
[[Actually, even though I don't know if i'm grounded I have family coming in for a few days so I doubt I'll be able to be on the internet for the next few days anyway. =_=; ]]

"They... they... they were just... different," he said, frustrated. "The pupils became slits. Like a... a... snake..." As he said the words, a look of dawning realisation came across his features. "You're... you're..." he couldn't complete his sentance. He knew what the other was now - it matched: the scent and the eyes. There was a slight amount of fear in his eyes - he had some... experiences with snakes, and none of them were good.

"Haro, Haro... what's wrong?" he murmured against the other's lips, not wanting to pull away. He wiped the boys away with a gentle hand, that small gesture expressing his concern. The boy had started crying when Shin had kissed him... Did that... could it mean Haro... didn't like this?

Wei was much too amused by the teen's musings. Yes, he was a snake, a very poisonous one at that. Of course in his human form right now he didn't have any snake attributes, which was fine with him, he preferred warm blooded creatures over the cursed cold blooded ones. It wasn't easy trying to regulate your own body temperature...
Grinning wildly the man leaned over to scratch a finger knuckle against the boy's head, "And you're an adorable little kitten, are you not?" He murmured, knowing very well that he could tease the boy no longer.

Hiccuping against the older teen's mouth, the boy flushed heavily, lowering his teary-eyed gaze to the floor. How could Shin be truly happy just like this? Wei had always explained that- The teen shook his head slightly, but Wei was a liar.
"I'm...okay, I just- I'm just happy that...you're happy," he continued, a smile lighting his face as he tried to laugh away his tears. He more relieved than anything else, but he was comforted by the fact that Shin didn't need some sort of insane measure of physical loyalty to be supposedly happy as Wei had. [[Aka, smex. D:]]

He glared at the other slightly, grey eyes seeming to spark slightly as he shook his head to dislodge the other's hand. "I'm not cute," he said stubbornly through slightly gritted teeth.

He tilted his chin slightly and kissed the space under Haro's eyes where tears had fallen, a smile on his lips. He felt so... releaved. "That's... I... I thought you were crying because you didn't like... this," he said softly, his voice quiet and a little embarrassed.

"Oh, but I would disagree with you on that," Wei said with a bright grin as he let his hand fall back to the table top.

Haro shivered lightly, tears clinging to dark lashes. "Nmm, no. I'm..." Was this weird for humans to cry when they were happy? "-happy. Is that...bad?" He asked softly, opening his eyes with a slightly apprehensive expression.

He finished off his desert, a scowl lingering on his lips. "If I'm cute, then you're crazy," he muttered under his breath, grey eye's sweeping the other's appearance before returning to stare at his hand. There was a bite mark on it from thinking when he would rest his mouth against his left hand and bite the skin there.

"No... no... it's fine... plenty of people cry from happiness..." he said, his voice reassuring. "I'm just... it's difficult for me to tell... when you're happy..." he said softly.

Haro looked characteristically confused, brows furrowed slightly as he mumbled something incoherent under his breath. Rubbing at his eyes with the back of his hand, the boy wriggled and squirmed out of Shin's grasp. He supposed that whenever he was with Shin he was happier than he usually was...well, at least if he wasn't thinking about memories that made him sad. Rewording his thoughts in his head, the boy figured that if he was at least thinking about Shin then he was happy, more or less.
Lacing slender fingers through the older teen's, Haro smiled lightly as he pulled the dark haired teen towards the den. "I'm happy when I'm with you," he explained, not quite looking at Shin, fearing that if he did the other would see his much too red cheeks.

"You don't really have much self-esteem do you?" Wei mumbled, handing the bill and the appropriate amount of bills to the waitress. Turning his green-eyed gaze back to Liao, he frowned with a sigh. "And what's with all these accusations of my insanity?" He demanded upon knowing, his epression lightening just barely as he frown flickered int a smirk.
Jade eyes focusing in on the boy's hand, Wei quirked one dark brow in slight confusion as he pulled the boy's wrist towards him to examine it. Either Wei didn't have a clue about personal space issues or quite possibly he really didn't care. "Nn, what did you do?" He asked, running a thumb over the reddened indents.

"I don't like snakes," he murmured slightly under his breath, brow furrowed. "And, frankly, you're weird enough to have lost quite a few marbles..." He quickly snatched his hand back. "I bit it, what does it look like? It's what I do when I'm thinking..." He didn't like people touching him and now that he had a reason not to trust Wei, he could show animosity outwardly. A small part of him knew it was wrong to fire up at someone who had merely shown him kindness, but he found he didn't care to listen to that voice. He had had too much pent up rage for too long with no where to direct it but at himself.

A slight pink touched his cheeks at the boy's words, but his smile widened and became suddenly much happier. "I... that makes me very happy..." he said softly. He caught up with the small teen and again wrapped his arms around the other from behind, leaning down to give him a quick kiss on the crown of his head before releasing him.

Wei frowned, eyes darkening just a bit, "Well I don't like snarky, short brats," he muttered, pulling out his straw to examine it before he returned it to his glass of water. Rolling his eyes, the young man slowly stood up, looming over the boy with a sudden look of extreme displeasure, "And here I thought you were a nice kid, thanks for proving me wrong."

Pulling Shin into the den and aiming to sit him down on the couch, Haro squeaked at the sudden kiss to the top of his head. The boy would admit, maybe only to himself, but admit nonetheless that he quite enjoyed when Shin did that. He felt safe, if only for a moment. Sitting down on the sofa, curling up feet under him, Haro cocked his head to one side as he gazed up at the much taller teen, "Ne, Shin? Have you ever had a girl friend?" He asked with a slight pout. He still wasn't sure how exactly the other felt about him. Maybe he liked girls and just thought Haro looked a lot like a girl so it was okay... Or...or maybe humans kissed people who they thought were special and Shin just thought ht as weird and didn't want to make him feel bad or something. He hoped that wasn't the case but it was certainly plausible in the pink, more or less, haired boy's head.

He looked away from the other, his cheeks tinged with pink. "I'm sorry for being such a pain," he said, his voice low. He stood up quickly. What about the other man irritated him so much...? He frowned and glanced back over at Wei again. It wasn't his appearance, no... it was... his words... Something about him was... familiar, but he couldn't place it. Or perhaps it was the way the other's words made him feel? That intense pain of shame that stabbed at his heart...

"Yes... but none since my mother became hospitalised..." he said softly, wondering what had brought up this question. He had sat down next to Haro, facing him, his knees held close to his chest by his arms. "Mm... why do you ask?" he questioned, his tone curious.

Haro instantly averted his eyes. "Nn, I was just...wondering, 'cause I don't know, I've never had one..." He murmured, not really making much sense, but he couldn't really think very well right then. "Have you...ever had a girl friend but...but not really exactly a girl friend. I mean, like the same...kind of...uhm, but...uh...a boy?" He asked, shifting uncomfortabley.

"Well you should be, if you hadn't made such a good breakfast I might've just thought about leaving you here," he said, his former frown twitching into something between a teasing smile and a true smile- those were hard to come by with Wei.
Ruffling the boy's hair with a smirk, Wei sighed, trying to rid himself of that truly angry feeling that seemed to flare up every once in a while.

"You mean a... boy friend?" he asked, his cheeks tinged lightly with pink. "No... not really... unless... unless you want to... be mine," he said, his voice growing progressively quieter and more embarrassed. He rested his chin between his knees, light blue eyes gazing at the boy from under overly long purple hair.

He smiled slightly, an almost laugh escaping him - just a sort of spasm of shoulder and chest that indicated a laugh, although the sounds didn't quite make it out. "I'll keep that in mind for the next time I make you angry..." he said with a slight smile.

Wei would never admit that he had been insulted by the kid. He had felt the familar stab in his gut but he couldn't really blame people... humans, and most animals, had some sort of instinctual loathing towards snakes as well as some other reptiles but mostly snakes. What was so bad about snakes? Okay so they didn't really have limbs...and they ate stuff without chewing it, big deal. Maybe it was the whole, 'let me bite you and you die' thing, that tended to scare the wits out of many humans. At least most snakes weren't aggressive like some animals could be...even if they still were pretty dangerous. He was pretty dangerous, he supposed. Not many snakes had such potent venom like he did...and with the life he lived he really didn't think it was all that great. It's not like he went around wanting to kill people...except that Shin b*****d- and really he only wanted him out of the picture, not dead per se.
Stuffing his hands into his pockets with a mustered up grin, Wei nodded, his expression almost distracted as he headed towards the exit of the small restaurant.

Haro's expression fell from a relatively happy one to a much more somber one. He hoped Shin just wasn't saying that 'cause he felt bad for him. So he'd never really had a girl friend...it didn't bother him at all though, he hadn't had much contact with girls anyway except through the fleeting guests of his owner. Wei never hung out with many girls either...and sometimes Harp wished he had they probably would've treated him better than those who Wei liked to chat with, among other things.
Biting at his lower lip, the boy turned his head slightly, fingers digging into his side out of pure aggrivation. Shin obviously liked girls if he'd had girl friends before...and...he'd never had a boy friend before and...and he looked like a girl and- Halting his fly away thoughts, the younger teen turned his head back towards Shin, a half frown half pout still drawn on his lips. "Yes, that's what I meant," he murmured, not answering the other's second question for a moment or so, eyes lowered before he continued in an overly hesitant manner, "I-I...Mnnn." Haro already knew what it felt like be owned, to be controlled, and to have some sort of...relationship, if he could even call it that, but he didn't know what it felt like to...have a boy friend (or girl friend for that matter). "Do you even like boys?" He asked in a quiet mumble while he unclenched his fingers from his sides to play with his shorts.

He followed the man up. Something about the other's expression seemed... odd, but Liao couldn't place it. He frowned slightly, but he couldn't understand what was going on... He was terrible with his own emotions, let alone those of others, and although he thought something might be wrong, he decided not to ask since it might be read as prying.

"It... doesn't matter if you're a boy a girl... I don't care about that... You are you... and I just want to be with you," he said softly, his eyes warm. "I would never have kissed you if I didn't have feelings for you..." he reached across to run a hand lightly through the other's hair. "So will you... be with me?"

Haro didn't know why it didn't matter to Shin. It didn't matter that...that he had boy bits instead of...instead of... Holding a hand up to his head, the teen sighed heavily. This was all so contradictory to everything he had grown up seeing. His owner only liked women, Wei...well Wei didn't seem to like anyone except Lou and...and he thought he was cute but that was all...and Vi liked girls but his brother was really creepy and Haro felt really bad for the poor bunny because his brother was a horrible, horrid, little- He was rambling in his thoughts again, which was almost pathetic.
"But I'm...not a girl," he mumbled, which was very true indeed. "At all," he expressed, emphasizing the words as he tugged at his shorts. He knew so from experience, when he got too excited in a not so good way he was very much not a girl and- He was rambling again. "I would like to- I mean...you- I like being near-" What was he supposed to do? Tell the truth and say that Shin made him fell all jittery and warm and bubbly weird somewhere deep in his belly? Or course that wasn't an option...
"Uhm, I just...I just- I'm not a girl," he said finally, obviously not comprehending the fact that someone could like both girls and boys.

Fishing out his keys from his pockets, Wei sighed, before turning towards the much shorter male. "You mind if I run an errand before we...head back or somethin'?" He asked, unlocking his car with a slight frown. He really couldn't wait 'til tomorrow to get Haro, he didn't think the kid would be too suspicious though if he just explained that Haro was sleeping...and not really poison induced unconscious....that is if he could get past that Shin b*****d.
