She glances at if for a moment and notices that it has the character "Gate" written on its wings. Looking around for its creator, she didn't see anyone and so she decided that heading to the gate would be her only clue.

While Nagisa wrote the receptionist stepped out and sent a message to the Lighning Countries Council. Nagisa had only just finished dotting all her i's when a gravely voice erupted from the doorway. "You must be the Jounin Nagisa, head of the Aburame clan? The previous Lightning Daimyo had grand plans for you. May we speak in the office?" At this he gestured towards the Raikage's office.

Nagisa knew at once something was up. The only reason for the Lightning council to meet in Sosay's office would be because the information was incredibly sensitive or it concerned the Raikage (usually both). Nagisa stood and opened the door as all 4 members of the council entered the room. The Lightning Daimyo was not among them. She closed the door behind her and stood before the council, keeping a straight face.

The old man spoke again. "Lady Sosay has stepped down from her position and has vanished from Kumogakure. She has however requested that you take her place. the current daimyo is concerned about your involvement with his predecessor, but we can deal with him." He paused and spent several minutes in silence, his breathing the only sound in the room. "We have come to ask you to take her place, but the title of Raikage is not yet officially yours. When your position has been properly established we will send word." At that he left the room. It was the most abrupt and one sided conversation Nagisa had ever had. As the council left the room Nagisa followed and out of habit closed the door behind her. They would deal with the daimyo? What the hell did that mean? Nagisa sat on the couch once more to collect her thoughts.
