"What's wrong Regal?" Vii asked genuinely putting a hand on the girls warm forearm. "Does it hurt terribly? I just wanted you to be able to say for yourself, not by my clumsy mistake." She tried to explain that she truly felt bad, but somewhere deep inside she didn't actually feel]/i] sorry at all. She didn't feel anything.

"What if you just ruined my fate?" Regal said with some slight vemon to her tone. Her face reflected no anger, only sadness and confusion.

Vii glanced at Emma briefly and then back to the girl, unsure if Regal was really mad at her for saving her from the same fate as her own. "You mean you would have wanted to be a vampire, by some accident of mine?" She spoke slowly, almost patronizingly to Regal, crossing her pale arms across her chest in a defensive stance.

Emma had not looked up from Macbeth, but her tone was like ice. "I will not hesitate to change you back if that is what you wish."

"No." She said shortly, deeply ashamed and embarrassed for seeming ungreatful for retaining her life. She was confused, conflicted to say the least and needed to be alone with her thoughts to sort them out. Apparently the bit of Vii's blood that had effected her had caused a stimulus overload or something. Shaking her head she mumbled something that resembled 'Excuse me please" before disappearing up the stairs to her room.

Almost speechless, Vii's mouth hung open slightly in surprise. She grabbed the remainder of the bottle of wine and poured it into a glass then returned to her spot behind the bar, pouring a bit of the contents of a pungent black bottle into the glass and swirling it a few times. "I'm sorry, I apologize for her rudeness." She said quietly, staring at the swirls her drink made in the light.

"It's quite alrig-" She cocked her head, listening to words that only she could hear. "I'm afraid I must take my leave. I expect I shall see you soon."
And with that, violet light gathered, and she was gone.

Bastion came down from the bedrooms, "hey people," he mumbled, "some ice water please." He felt like crap for sleeping so long, must've been the fatigue that caught up with him.

((Still from a few days ago. cool ))
Kaok nodded. All awkwardness aside, it really was... nice as he put it. She hardly cared that their food was probably cold by now - she didn't remember, in any case.
"... If I tell you something pathetic... you won't laugh, right?"

Remus continued to lead. At this point, they had only gone halfway around the dance floor.
"No, of course not, Kaok. You can tell me anything." Remus replied.

Ragdoll walked in as he looked around seeing that barely anyone is here.
" eh its like a dead cat in here...."
Ragdoll sat down away from everyone else as he drank some beer.
"even my karaoke bar is more lively then this tavern..."

Emma watched as Remus and Kaok danced, smiling to herself with an air of satisfaction.

"I've never been on a date before this. I've never so much as held a man's hand until now."
Kaok'd never really... been given a reason to do so. Even in Tragicosos, where young arranged marriages were more popular than eating - which is saying something, because her people lived to eat and party - she was never pushed to. With her 'defects' she didn't really make a viable mate for anyone. And then after she left, it wasn't as if any of the human men she met were going to go for an eighteen year-old "goat girl". The only man she'd really talked to those days was William. (And to suggest that they were involved in such a way was... well, weird, more so than she could even know.) And even after all of that, she was working most of the time, and couldn't be bothered.

A faint whisper brushed Kaok's mind, in Emma's voice.
I think you'll find human men to be right up your alley.

Remus smiled. Although he wouldn't admit it to Kaok, he took some pride in the fact that he was successfully getting the Faun to open up to him in way she hadn't with anyone else. However, Remus was unaware that he was slowly opening himself up to Kaok as well.
"That's hard to believe, Kaok. Men must be crazy not to have asked you out before. " Remus replied.
"Although my own experience with women is nothing more than drunken parties, getting married and later divorced merely for legal benefits. So I suppose this is a bit new to me as well."
