Iri turns her head and looks back into the cave. Her head tilts. Then she looks back to Lina.
"Hate to change the subject, but, you happen to speak whatever he's sayin'? I feel like I'm getting cussed out."

She listened for a bit.
"Can't say I understand more then a bit of what instinct suggests, but there is a decent chance that was some kind of warning."
She reached towards her waist, noticing the lack of supply belt and bag, taking a quick note of whatever was around them and ready to be used.

A low growling could be heard, at first it would be to low to hear for normal human ears, but the trembling of it could be felt through the earth.
Out of the dark, two yellow luminous eyes appeared, and after that, the whole head of Tobu could be seen.
It was the head of a canine, mostly resembling to that of a wolf, though his snout was longer and his ears had long hairs on the tips.
With his ears folded back, and his frightening long teeth, uncovered, he slowly came out of the cave.
He walked on four legs, and at first sight, he could be seen a as very big wolf.
A wolf with a shoulder height of 5 feet and two giant wings folded on his back.
The muscles on his shoulders where much heavier that that of a regular wolf, causing his head to stay low all the time.
His legs where longer too, and his tail didn't look like that of a wolf at all.
It was 7 feet long and slim, with only a bushy tip.
His paws where weaponed with giant razorscharp claws of nearly four inches each.
His body was fully covered with fur, black on his back, forehead, paws and upper side of the tail, and a lighter grey on the rest of his body.
He became to growl harder and stayed low to the ground as he sneaked closer, so he could jump at them at any moment.
If someone would be able to see chakra, he would see that all the bright chakra had been concentrated in a very small spot in the brains of the creature, not having any influence at all, and that all the rest of the body was filled with darkness.

Hehehe.
There was someone hiding in a tree far off to the side of the cave. It was wearing a white cloak and had it's hood pulled up. It was watching from afar to the events that were about to unfold. Bao knew when the full moon was going to occur and was prepared to follow Ookamimaru when the transformation happened.
Yes-- I wouldn't miss this for the world.

Iri blinks again as she watches the thing come out of the cave, her spies illuminating it along with the light of the moon. It's scary looking. Very scary. But, in her opinion, it doesn't look very intelligent. This oughta be fun.
Without looking at Lina, Iri says, "I think that was the last of Ookamimaru's consciousness trying to tell us something."
The Fury runs forward to meet the creature, putting plenty of distance between them and Lina. Believe it or not, she does have a plan. Actually, a tactic that she would like to try out. And so she plants herself in front of the wolf thing, puts her hands on her hips, and looks stern. First off, she's got to try for peaceful negotiations.
"Would you chill? I haven't done anything to you, yet. I just wanna talk to me student. Now behave and bring Ookamimaru back. That's the only warning you're going to get out of me, after you ruined a perfectly good evening."
Does this thing understand her? Iri's not sure. But, there's always a chance.
An unlit spy alerts Iri to a newcomer's presence. She doesn't react right away. It can wait. And she's sure Lina will notice one way or another.

The creature backed off a bit when Iri came forward without showing any fear.
She seemed very confident, making weird noises like that, which means she must be up to something.
Since his aperiance didn't seem scary enough, he opened his wing, flapped, and held them open, to look even bigger than he is.
He won't be scared off that easily, in fact, Iri coming forward was a clear provocation, which means she wanted a fight.
He growled even harder, baring his teeth in her direction, his tail flapping to all sides.
He kept stepping closer in slow paces.
This was an official answer to the provocation, he wasn't going to back off.

Lina seemed to grasp what Iri was trying to get across.
She looked at the wolf, calm eyes.
He didn't know the truth behind Lina's other forms, and Iri had mentioned his intelligence might not be that high, so maybe.
Lina's form changed after a few moments.
A Dragon, closer to European style, aside from being somewhat longer then normal stood behind Iri. It was slightly bizarre that it still had hair in Lina's style.
The dragon looked at him, showing teeth as big as his head.
A mental thought went to Iri.
'Jin would be useful about now, instinct usually fears that which is bigger.'

He did back off when she first approached. If he does that even when confronted by a much smaller opponent, he can't be some all powerful being or something. That gives Iri a little more to go on. And he's not responding in any sensible manner to her questioning. So the possibility that he understands her is out of the question.
An idea comes to mind. She's got to start thinking on an animal's level now. If she can prove her dominance without hurting the big brute, that may help her out next time he goes through this. Iri snaps her wings open and flaps a few times, just enough to get her feet off the ground for moment, then lands again. Her wings stay open wide in a sort of display. Thinking back to her Fury side, she lets her features show. Fangs and claws form, and her eyes start to glow. Her energy spikes, though she's not sure it will matter to the wolf thing. And she lets herself emit a low growl.
When Lina communicates through her strange mental link, Iri observes her via her spies. Breaking eye contact with Ookamimaru now would be a bad idea. Her spies tell her something astonishing.
"Uh, yeah, gotcha. Would have been good if he had tagged along. But, um, didn't know you could do that. I think the two of us are plenty. Eh, you're plenty. Damn, Lina, you're bad a**, ya know that?"
If Iri weren't focusing on being intimidating, she would have been grinning. She's really glad Lina's on her side.

By the sight of the dragon, Tobu stood still, this was very unusual, he had never been in a situation where he was smaller than his opponent.
Iri's provocation, at the other hand whas quite childish he though, her small figure would be slammed out of the air and crushed to the ground in one blow of his forepaw.
The dragon, that's what worried him.
The question was, what would he do?
If he left now, he would be fleeing, and that would be a huge bite in his ego.
Why where they here in the first place?
THEY provocated HIM, right?
This is HIS territory, They are the intruders!
There was a conflict of what he would do going on in his head.
Attack? Flee? Defend?
He stayed low in stance, but he had stopped growling.

She kept her eyes focused on his.
The dragon's scent seemed to linger through the woods, more-so then the fox girl who had been been there before.

"Speaking of back up... Where's Reeve? I thought he was coming. Coulda sworn. Oh well. I'm gonna fix this."
Back at the Rai Dojo, Jin is fast asleep. He's on his back, just shy of snoring, and quite comfortable. The dragon's mind is just about to slip into thoughts of a very pretty girl when--
"JIN!!! Get your a** out of bed! My location, dragon form, now!"
"Son of a--!!!"
Jin jumps out of bed, lands on his feet, and tries to draw a sword that's currently on the ground and not at his hip. He looks around, wide-eyed and hair standing straight up. Then Iri's message finally processes. Cursing vigorously, Jin grabs his sword and makes his way out of the dojo. Once again, he's foregone his armor and his shoes. They shouldn't be necessary, though. Still cursing, he shifts forms and takes off in Iri's direction.
"On me way, lil' miss hellion!"
Iri snickers in the mental connection with Lina. "Jin is not gonna be happy with me. But that man sleeps way too much to begin with, so I don't feel too bad."
Iri hasn't moved. She's just standing there, crouched in a lazy kind of horse stance, wings spread wide, and staring straight at the wolf thing. She's little, but she has no fear.

Since the opponents don't seem to be attacking, Tobu gets even more confused.
This ain't right, what are they doing?
I'm NOT gonna flee, they followed ME.
But we can't stand here forever, and I am cornered.
The only way is to go and kill those creatures, whatever they are.
As if he had made his descision, he came to stand high, threw his head in his neck, and howled, a terrible, fearsome sound that would stun his opponents for sure.
(I fear I'll have to go, dad's, bothering)

The dragon continued to look down at him, flinching and pulling it's neck back ever so slightly moments before it roared back. Electricity arced around her form as she raised her long neck away from him, opening her mouth fully.
'Iri... I don't have enough energy to take more then a few hits if we're just waiting for the re-enforcements.'

Iri doesn't look phased by the roars of either the wolf or Lina. Which is weird. She should have winced at the very least. Especially when Lina roared. It should have been almost painful to listen to. Instead, she tilts her head as she listens to Lina talking. And she finally nods.
"That's okay. Good thing for us, Jin knows how to haul a**."
That, and he didn't have far to go. About that time, Jin answers Lina's roar. He shoots through the opening of the cave, passes over her, and lands between her and Iri. The wolf is big. But Jin's bigger. Not nearly as big as Lina, but still more than an idle threat for the wolf. And then he stands up on his hind legs, hisses, and makes himself look bigger with his height. His eaglelike claws flex, waiting to tear into something. Apparently, he's in a bad mood.
Iri grins and looks up at him, letting her back become exposed to the wolf.
"Woohoo! See that? Nothing to worry about, Lina!"

Hooo? They're underestimating him.
Tsk, that'll get people killed if they're not careful with those provocations.
Tobu is a demon of pride; a fierce attribute when threatened.
Bao had his white cloak wrapped around himself so none of the cloth was dangling in plain view. Physically he was out of sight from the cover of the leaves and branches that surrounded him. As still as a stick but still watching through the leaves.
