Debido turned to where Kai was at, arched his back and let out a hiss before sinking into the shadows.

Kai glanced around and put his hand in the hilt of the sword "..shadow realm, hm? Guess it's fitting for a cowardly assassin to hide in shadows.."

Debido rose out of the shadows of some bushes a ways behind Kai and transformed back. He grasped the handle of his sword strapped to his back, ready to counter if Kai attacked.

Shina blinked, "Did you not want to tell me until the wedding..?" she said slightly confused.. Though she was good at keeping a straight face, she began to blush profusely.

Miku's mouth dropped and his eyes widened at the news. "Congratulations Shina! Now you'll have peace!" He fumbled over and gave her a big hug.
"Hmm...." Miku looked away for a quick second as he had an idea.
"Be back soon! I'm going to ...Uhm...Walk around for a bit. I'll be back in just a few minutes." He smiled and walked out of the room.
Miku stepped outside of the inn, and looked around the clearing to spot any flowers. He thought it would be the perfect gift for Shina, and a nice surprise.
He remembered he saw some on his way out of the forest, just a few feet from the clearing entrance. Miku nodded to himself and strut towards the forest.
"I wonder what colors she would like....Hmm...Maybe purple? Purple and white ones sound like a nice combination. Maybe some yellow, too?" He spoke softly to himself.
He stepped into the forest and scanned the area as he was walking, keeping out a keen eye for the most beautiful flowers he could find.

Kuroi blushed and sighed. "Shina, you're pretty, and kind. But I'm afraid we can't get married."

Shina gave a slight awkward determined look at Kuroi, "If it's for the peace of my people I'm willing to do anything.. Even make you fall in love with me!" She put her hand up and into a fist of determination, and then ran out of the room as though she were to go and ponder at how she was going to accomplish the impossible.

Kuroi blushed deeply. "Good thing Yuure's gone. Bad news for Kai though, he'd eat this awkwardness up." he said quietly to himself.

Shina marched down to the kitchen in the Inn.. "A way to a guy's heart is through his stomache..." she thought outloud as she searched the cupboards. She planned on cooking up a storm so that if Kuroi didn't like one dish he'd be bound to like the other 100... ((LOL the way i typed up Shina's attitude reminds me of a a character named Usa in a manga i'm reading called Tsuki no Shippo. xD ))

Melody hovered right above and behind Kai, hidden in the misty darkness. "Poor Kai. If you died here, no one would notice. Your only purpose to help a prince who doesn't even thank you." Her smooth voice eckoed in his mind. "Even little Shina loves him more then you. Shina, the one who you helped, didn't even think twice about you when she decided to marry the prince. Its because he's better. He's stronger. And there won't be a difference to him whether you die or not."

Kai started laughing his head off "I'm already dead to the world, a stranger to all and loved by none. What Shina does has nothing to do with me, and Kuroi is amusing to be around." he finally calmed down and drew his sword "Are you going to hide forever girl?"

Melody nodded and closed her eyes. After a moment, she gritted her teeth. "Yes, I'm afraid I don't have a choice." Replied Melody. "I don't feel like fighting you anyways. Besides i don't think you should be worried about me right now." She glanced in the direction of Debido.

"Huh....so you had only empty words to offer...how dull.." he shrugged "...I don't really bother worrying, it doesn't do much.." Kai did appear rather relaxed as he held his sword and waited.

Melody became weaker. The shadow walls didn't get enough negative energy from Kai and now had to shift to Melody for energy. Twilith was also trying to come out, it was her turn now. She sank to the ground.

Debido tightened his grip on his sword. He realized the shadows were fading and he'd be spotted soon. He thought about charging, but decided not to as Kai had seemed strong from the fights he watched.
