"Ah, I see," Adanedhel nodded, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "Well, if nothing else, you should send them here just for a visit or something. We'd all love to see them again, and let's face it, no one from Elnara's family comes here often enough."
He grinned. "Though I'm sure that would change now that Celebor and his family are moving here permanently."

Lin grinned that had to be true since Celebor had missed out on a lot.
"True, there's a lot of catching up to do for Celebor," Lin admitted, "Everyone else will be trilled."
She should probably also tell Triton since he was there a lot when Celebor was growing up.

"As well as us," Adanedhel chuckled. "We were all still children the last time anyone other than you or your parents or Miyu or Feng or Ryu came here. Tell all of them to come. We have the space for them, and we would be happy to see all of them again."
He paused, then laughed again. "Maybe not all at once, I'm not sure we have quite that much space."

Lin giggled at that, "True, and there's been a few additions to their family too, so that would be a bit much."
Elnara's family after all made up half of her family as it was.
"But I'll tell them."

Just then, the door came flying open again, and an out-of-breath Ruque flopped in and sprawled out on the floor.
"I'm - back," he panted. "It's - time - for - dinner - Lin."
And he grinned up at her proudly.
Adanedhel chuckled. "I think you need to slow down a bit there, Ruque," he winked. "You're going to make yourself too tired for dinner if you keep up that pace."
Ruque giggled. "Aras - is timing - me," he explained between gasps for air. "So - we gotta - be fast."

Lin giggled as she turned, "Then we better get back quick."
She turned for a moment to say good bye to Adanedhel and Ecthelion.
"I'll see you later," Lin told them both before leaving with Ruque.

"Bye!" Ecthelion beamed, waving cheerfully to Lin and Ruque. "Come back tomorrow again and we can go swimming! And maybe Ruran won't try hurt you again!"
Adanedhel smiled warmly. "Do come," he invited her. "You're welcome any time."
Ruque however was already out the door and on his way back. He wanted to be fast so that the others wouldn't be waiting on him!

"Alright," Lin told Ecthelion, she wouldn't mind staying for a bit longer.
With that she ran after Ruque before she could lose him. She had to chuckle, as now that he was comfortable with her, he was a lot like his Dad.

When Ruque burst into the kitchen at Ulani and Ulrich's house, out of breath once more, he cried out, "I'm back, Aras! How long did it take me?"
Aras giggled. "I don't know, but you sure were fast!"
Beaming, Ruque took his seat.
"Didn't you get Lin?" Niyana asked, frowning gently when Lin didn't follow Ruque into the room right away.
"She's coming," Ruque beamed. "Don't worry!"

Lin came in a few moments after Ruque, chuckling at what the kids were up to, "Hey."
She looked around to see who was still there and to see if anyone else came back since she left.

"Ah, there you are," Ulani beamed as Lin came in. "Come on, sit down. We're just about to start. Celebor and Ruran aren't back yet, so you get to pick where you want to sit."
There were three chairs empty at the moment: one next to Niyana, obviously for Celebor, one between Aras and Ruque, and one between Kanis and Ulrich.

Well that was weird, or at least Lin thought so when Ulani told her that Celebor and Ruran wasn't home yet. She couldn't help but feel a bit worried. Quietly she slipped into a seat between Kanis and Ulrich.
"Odd..." she murmured.

"I'm sure they'll be back soon enough," Ulrich assured Lin with a warm smile.
And just at that moment, there was the sound of the front door opening and closing. "Sorry we're late," Celebor's voice rang out, and a moment later he and Ruran appeared together in the doorway. "We were quite a distance away."
He nudged Ruran towards the space between Ruque and Aras, but the boy looked up at him with a look akin to fear in his eyes.
"I'd rather stand," he said in a small voice. "Please."
Celebor frowned as he sat next to Niyana, and shook his head. "It's rude to remain standing while you're eating," he said firmly. "Now sit down."
Ruran's cheeks tinged pink, and he lowered his eyes in embarrassment, but he slid obediently into the seat left for him, wincing as he sat down, holding his breath as if trying not to cry out in pain.

Lin was relieved to see both of them there, seemly well. Well at least as well as one could be with a sore butt, she had assumed that Celebor spanked him... a lot.
"Welcome back, we were just starting," Lin assured him.

"Ah," Celebor smiled. "Good. Then I don't feel as bad."
"Where did you go?" Ulani asked Celebor curiously. She wouldn't ask what they had done, it was quite clear from the way Ruran was acting that he had been severely punished - and about time in her opinion - but she was curious to know where they had been. After all, 'quite a distance' could be just about anywhere.
"One of the mountains," Celebor replied with a smile. "Which reminds me, you might want to mention something to Aerin about the northernmost mountain ... I think there might be a dragon nesting there."
Ulani nodded. "I'll let her know."
