"It's been almost a week since I've fought, and I know that's probably nothing to you, but I do enjoy a good spar." Yes, Wedsday- although he hated to talk to her- had seen the match occuring and conveyed it to her. It was odd that the four of them still used that tactic, but she knew eventually the children would be taught it too.

((sorry! I'm back now))
((Just wait out there, the dragonm won't attack unless it looks like you're actually trying to get into the place.))

(( Aha. I'll just... pretend he knows that... ninja ))

"Well," He said laughing embarassedly, "then that's one thing we have in common. It was an excellent match, but I can wait a while for another. I was in it for fun, but it really got serious. When it came down to it, we were both done fighting. He was exhausted something crazy, I was out of chakra and injured, and he bluffed better. Actually, I didn't bother pretending I could've kept going like we had been. I guess I could've won it, but, its done now, so that's all there is to it." He said, chuckling with embarassment, and taking another peice of chicken, and a large drink of his water.

"It supposedly resembled something of a poker match by the end of it. And don't worry about if it turned too serious. Most spars here end up with a trip to the healer's. In fact, Aes had only been here a day when Pale broke her hip." she finished up with her meal, and looked up at him with a smile.

"Well... I guess no one likes to lose. Sheesh, to imagine a whole town of people who take fighting as serously as- never mind. Yes, it was something like that. There was a lot of back and forth during it too." He said, picking up some of the last bits of chicken, examining the last two, hardly worth waiting for, and gave her an apologetic look as he stuffed them into his mouth with the others. He chewed and swallowed, and finished his water slowly, followed by a long sip of his wine. It was a little stronger than he'd expected, but he was fine. He put it down again, waiting a bit to finish it incase there was something more she wanted to say, since it looked like she was waiting to leave, just staying with him eating to be polite.

"We're the outcasts, I'm not sure we'll ever do anything perfectly." She replied, shrugging it off lightly. "Anyways, I'm going to be getting home" she stood up a little and tunred around looking for the door "I have to confess, this is my first date in about four years or so." Morgan blushed

Rivven choked on the sip of wine he'd been taking. Coughing and hitting his chest with the side of a fist, he nearly doubled over, and straightened to gape at her. "D-date? Wha-" He started coughing again but stopped more quickly, turning a bright crimson. "What.. w-what're you- was this a... a date...?" He forced out, confused and embarassed. When he thought about it, a date with her might not be so bad; but he had no idea how he was supposed to act, and to go on a date without even knowing it... well, that was all worse than even he expected of his incompetence in dealing with people.

She mistook his reaction for one of disgust. Stiffening, she whirled around and headed straight for the door "Fine then. I'll take the hint and just leave! I should have stuck with a gender I could at least predict!" In truth, she just felt a little hurt

((Last post of the night.))

Rivven coughed more, panicing. This was even less expected. Getting up from his seat, he left behind the rest of the wine, chasing as quickly after her as he could without running. "Wait! M-Miss Morgan! Wait!" He shouted, catching his breath and finally getting over the wine he had choked on, and chasing after her with an arm out to try to catch her shoulder and stop her. It hurt a lot to run, he had thought the pain from the wounds was gone, but bending over like this to catch up was agitating them. But this... this was terrible. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean- wait, did I do something wrong? I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, well- its just I didn't know! How was I supposed to know! I've never been on a date before, alright! Please, you don't have to put up with me, but accept my apology, I didn't mean anything by it, I didn't mean to upset you!" He yelled after, somewhat desperatly. He liked her, thouhg he didn't really know if it was in that manner or not, but he couldn't stand to see her upset.

Morgan saw him running towards her and instantly felt bad. She stopped and waited until he caught up to her. After hearing his explanantion, she was a little shocked. First, he was much more humble then she would have expected. And then, to learn that he'd never been on a date....well, that told a lot. "I, I'm sorry" she said, but that didn't quiet cover it. Walking outside she said "Look, why don't we start over. Pretend the mistake didn't happen." her last word to him before she left were "I'll be waiting for you."

Rivven nodded, and didn't stop himself from smiling, watching her walk off. "Alright then. I'll be there." He took a moment to stand, trying to figure out exactly how and what had happened here. Shaking his head and chuckling, he pressed a hand up to the bullet wound on his stomach, and walked back to the table, where he finished his wine in one long, slow drink, before picking up all the dishes and taking them inside to set them in a sink. Hopefully someone would get to them, because he should probably get some things done now. First I need to talk to Miss Pale... though I should hope that it won't be nessesary, and then I should probably get myself ready for the... date. What does one do on a date? Do I need to do anything to get ready? Agh... well, let's at least try to get there on time. He thought, before heading out himself, to the Kimache castle where Aes had, what now seemed like ages ago, told him he would find the head of Black Amber.

Jay would walk in with Pale, a small smile on his face as he looked around the tavern. He remembered back when he used to work here...but that was the past. He still knew how to navigate around the place, and it seemed that the service (as always) was left to the customers. "Pick any table you want" surprised

"The one nearest the food, of course!" she let go of his hand and went up to where the bar and kitchen were 'You know, we have to get some employees here, it's driving me nuts that the place is a pantry with drinks."

"Heh...I suppose you're right." He said as he walked next to her and said "Funny...Wed's place is brimming with employees and this is virtually empty"

"It's brimming with a bunch of teenage girls that just want to sit around all day and eat pocky. Which I think he does anyways." she joked

Jay just chuckled and said "Well at least there's employment there. It's a shame that this place has become so...desolated"
