Sakura rose from where she was sitting and went downstairs. Sakura took an apple from the fruit bowl then watched the maids walk around then Sakura noticed that there was barely any fruit, so Sakura put on her scandals and went to the market to get more fruit.

((Hi..sorry I havent been around for a few pages, my compyooter crapped out on me D=))
Akemi smiled and walked back from the market with the two girls. She helped to put away the purchases and then walked outside to the garden. She gulped in the fresh air greedily and smelt the flowers.
She heard Ayame mention miso soup and went back to the kitchen to eat.

Akemi served herself soup and rice and ate the food slowly, savouring the taste. When she had finished, she took the bowl and utensils to the basin and washed all the crockery.
She looked about her and saw that the immediate rooms were empty, so when she had put all the crockery away she walked to the Maids room in hopes of finding Sakura.

When Sakura came back from getting the fruit she placed the fruit in the fruit bowl then made her way to the maiko's quarters and then she saw Akemi walking around, "Konnichiwa Akemi-san," Sakura said cheerfully.

"Good morning everyone." she greeted the inhabitants of the okiya. She sat at an empty chair, glad to be sitting down for she was tidying up the maids' supplies all morning. "Itadakimasu!" Ayame drank the miso soup happily, but politely.

((yes, maikos can go pretty much anywhere Geishas can go. Usually they accompany their Geisha))

"Konnichiwa, Sakura-chan. How are you today?" Akemi asked Sakura. She sat down on her futon and rested for a few minutes, before standing up and tidying the Maids' quarters.

CrystallineTiger Tora sits at her vanaty and smiles at Rose. "Thank you so much Rose!" She prepares her things to teach Rose about the Geisha make-up. "This," she points out, holding a can of white past-powder, "is the base of it all. This is Oshiroi," she says. "If you don't get this part right, the rest of the make-up will be off." Tora places it back down. She points out the rest of the supplies. "This is our chalk to outline our eye-brows called 'Ohaguro'," she says pointing to to piece of black charcole. "This is colored powder for our eyes and a tad for our cheeks." Tora picks up a stick of green cake-like texture, "This, applied with a wet brush, forms our lipstick. It is called 'Kyo Beni'."

"I am quite well," Sakura said to Akemi. Sakura helped Akemi clean the maids quaters even though she did no sleep there. But Sakura gladly helped a friend

RosePetals91 Rose watches her, remembering everything she says "shall we try it on now?" Tora winks at Rose, "Yes," and smiles. She slides over to let Rose in front of the mirror. "Okay, first apply the oshiroi evenly- remember to leave a little skin along the hair line, like so." Tora traces a line with her finger on Roses forehead and down her jaw line. "Then carry it down the neck," she says, continuing her trace down the neck. She traces the "W" mark. "Now, go ahead and put it on." She hands Rose a brush and sits back to watch "Oh!" Tora realized. "Ayame! Please come here," she called. "She might want to watch you, and learn from you." Tora smiled.

"Ah... make-up?" She hurried over to Rose and Tora, "I know very little about it, but I heard the conversation. I might try it sometime, but not now. Today I will just watch." She sat down and waited for Rose to begin.
