Vlad looks down at Marie, he was thinking about what he had said. Did Marie really feel that way about him? "Yeah, but I bet you probably wanted to kill him yourself."

Smiling she said, "Yes I did but he's not the main one. He isn't the one that caused all of this. But as long as some one I knew and trusted killed him, I don't mind." Marie still hung on close to him, her tears starting to dry up but still some tear stains remain on her face. Marie thought, "I'm so happy to be in his arms, only if this wouldn't end. But do I or do I not tell him?" She thought.

Vlad keeps holding her, he could tell how vulnerable she was, "I had a feeling about that. He died a bit too easily. But there are more. You don't have to fight if you don't want to after what just happened to you, but we could use your help"

Separating herself from him a bit but still close enough Marie said, "Yes I do and I need to fight." Letting go Marie grabbs her few things and said, "Let's go." Mare waited for Vlad and began to walk out with him.

After walking out Marie saw nothing except a dried out lake and some blood from the dead creatures. "You don't think that they already fled? Do you?" Marie asked but still a bit suspicious.

Marie nodded in agreement. Roaming part of the lands Marie finds only more blood and dead creatures. "Hmm, something just isn't right. Why are so many dead?" Marie is slightly confused but keeps up her gaurd.

Marie stops and looks at Vlad, "Yes it is." Marie looks at Vlad's eyes she can't seem to look away.

Marie half expected this from Vlad. "But do you remember when we did the translation spell and you sent me some information mentally? Well one of your thoughts was passed to me, and it was about how you cared for me too." Marie still is drawn to his eyes, she has no intention of looking away.

Vlad looks down and to the side, his voice sounds unsure of himself, "Even so, what if you get captured and I ignore my duties to rescue you or pay a randsom I shouldn't? Or something else like that? My job doesn't allow my personal feeling to come first."
