The house was pretty much as they'd left it that morning, and Kasiya set Helios on the ground as they entered. Kasiya glanced around the spotless kitchen, thinking how her mom liked things neat and tidy as well, although she almost viewed Mrs Summers' organizational skills as a tad on the obsessive side. She thanked the woman again before she glanced at Flannery and went outside after Mike, now more sure than ever that something was going on. Shocker's ears perked up at the sight of the many Pokemon around them and it was almost impossible to count them all. The place was huge. However, Shocker decided to remain up on Kasiya's shoulder rather than hop down and have a better look around.
Flannery remained behind for all but a moment before looking around with a 'screw this' kind of expression and heading outside after the others. She knew that if Mrs Summers wanted help she'd simply go outside and demand it, and anyone wishing to keep their head on their shoulders would gladly oblige her. She rolled her eyes at the sight of Mike, Nitro and Magby all flexing their muscles and she refrained from walking up behind the brown-haired boy and poking him in the back. Instead she stood beside Kasiya and looked around as well. "So what exactly is going on today?" she asked loudly, placing her hands on her hips. Over in the far corner she spotted Keegan and Mr Summers, both wearing identical frowns and she smiled. "Looks like they're waiting for you, Kasi," she said, giving the younger girl a nudge forward. In retrospect it probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, shoving a girl with an obviously very powerful Raichu sitting on her shoulder, but from experience Kasiya sometimes needed a shove in the right direction.
Kasiya staggered forward a bit from the push, shooting a glare at Flannery before she ventured a bit further into the yard. Upon seeing Nitro her eyes lit up but she managed to contain herself and not hug the Charizard, especially seeing that he was having a moment with Mike. Shocker wasn't so hesitant though, and upon seeing Mike she bolted forward, running over to her second-favouritest human in the world and hugging his leg. Apparently she didn't realize that she almost zapped him and everyone else with in range because she hadn't the slightest inkling he could be annoyed with her.
Feeling somewhat unburdened now Kasiya made her way forwards, only now catching sight of the other Charizard standing near Keegan. She was only slightly shorter in height than Nitro yet Kasiya thought she looked familiar, even for a Charizard. It wasn't until Mike gave it away that Kasiya realized she was looking at Nitro's mother. "Holy wow," she exclaimed, now looking from Mike to Keegan. Things were really starting to make sense now, which was all good except for the rather annoyed feeling of being left out of the loop. She scratched the side of her head and toyed with the small ponytail in her hair before looking at Keegan. "So what is going on here?" she asked.

Upon being set down Helios on the ground the Vulpix happily dashed out the door alongside Mike and Napalm, somehow managing not to get stepped on as he then zipped across the yard. Dodging people and Pokemon alike, he finally caught up to Keegan and he scampered up onto his trainer's shoulder with relative ease, although Keegan grunted noticeably under the fox's weight. "No seriously," he said, looking Helios in the eyes, "just what was Sheridan feeding you anyway?" Helios didn't get a chance to respond as the large, motherly Charizard then pushed past the two humans to get a better look at her 'little' boy. She appeared to study up for a moment before she gave an appreciative nod to Mike. It was always good to know that her children were being well taken care of and it was a rarity for her to see any of them after they were given to trainers. The thought didn't make her too sad though as she had a lot of faith in her offspring. However that didn't stop her from ruffling Mike's hair with a clawed hand.
Todd only nodded at Mike, the faintest trace of a smile visible on his features. He ran a hand through his own red hair, flecked with grey as he looked at Keegan for a moment. "Things haven't changed much around here," he told Mike in a firm voice (which appeared to be his normal voice, if anything...). "Place is bigger, there are more Pokemon. Less people commissioning Pokemon though. Things have been... slow." Keegan looked up at his father as he spoke, concern showing in his green eyes. No wonder his parents had been so adamant about him bringing back Helios. No trainers meant no eggs, which meant no trainers paying for eggs. On the other hand, Keegan's father was also a fairly skilled carpenter so he had something to fall back on. It didn't keep the redhead from worrying, though.
"But enough about that, on to business." Todd straighted up, adjusting his overall straps (yeah, he did look the part of a typical farmer-type). "Kasiya." He took a few steps towards the girl, looking down at her with a harsh look in his eyes. "Keegan tells me that you've been wanting to have a Charizard of your own someday, correct?" Without waiting for an answer, he looked over at Keegan, hands resting on his hips. "The way I see it, if you're gonna get a Pokemon from anywhere, it better be here." On this note Keegan ducked into the large barn-like structure they were standing near and re-emerged a few moments later holding an egg. It was good-size and felt warm to the touch, and even though Keegan liked to pretend he knew nothing about eggs, even he knew this one would hatch within a day or two. Meanwhile, Todd had continued to speak while his son retrieved the egg. "My wife and I don't just give our Pokemon eggs to anyone. We like to make sure that any trainer receiving one will raise and care for the Pokemon just like we would. We watched your battle with Flannery and I must say we were quite impressed."
"Not only that but you've made our gloom-and-doomy son smile again," came Maggie's voice from behind the group. "And in order to do that, you must be special." Her voice was so sweet and cheery one would think she drank maple syrup for breakfast.
Keegan grumbled something incoherently at this, wishing he could somehow just vanish. His mother was probably the most skilled person in the world when it came to embarrassing him (although in reality Kasiya sometimes came in for a close second). His mind fumbled for something half-way intellectual to say and in truth he hadn't imagined having an audience when he gave Kasiya the egg. His face was almost as red as his hair as he held the egg out to Kasiya. "Here ya go," he mumbled. "Your very own Charmander egg."

"Thanks," Mitsu replied sheepishly to Robin's comment, "I try. Your Hopip, Yanma, and Aipom look good themselves. I haven't seen that many Pokemon native to Jhoto." She cracked a small smile at Robin feeling slightly more at ease.
Mitsu glanced at M.A. and Kilik who both had given her a "go ahead and dig in" look. She filled her plate with some sauteed shrimp and shell shaped pasta. The shape of the pasta was pretty much the only thing that seem to follow the Salty Seadra theme. The shrimp was heavenly! Probably caught off the shores in Dewford or Mossdeep. In the seafood pasta there were also a few clams, cubes of white fish that was perfectly cooked, and even some rather generous pieces of lobster. The dish alone must have costed a fortune. She took a rather big bite for one so shy. The pasta was cooked al dente and the creamy white sauce paired perfectly with it. Growing up on an island had made her very fond of seafood and pasta was usually what she found in the fridge in Tate and Liza's home.
Mitsu looked at M.A., Kilik, and thier family before feeling a pang of sadness haunt her heart. She stopped eating for a second and looked down at her plate. Her parents had never been home and she just recently found out that she had a brother. But to top it all off she been told that she was adopted and there were no known blood relatives of her that were alive. She sighed a bit before chomping down on a piece of fish. How awkward was this. being in a room with two families?
She shook her head before attempting some other sort of conversation. Oh wait, M.A. had asked the group something. "I'm pretty sure you already know this M.A., but I'm from Mossdeep, Hoenn. I'm not really sure what I want in the future, but for now I'm trying to be the champ of Hoenn." The little mini speech was more for Robin and Kilik both of whom she hardly knew, but she directed it at M.A. for she was the person who had asked the question. After a few more bites of pasta and seafood Mitsu took a sip of her water washing it all down. She casted a sly smile towards Kilik as her little sister spoke up, he seemed embarrassed. "Janie's adorable," she said to Kilik before turning towards the little girl giving her a smile. Trust be told, she wasn't really fond of kids, but his sister didn't seem half bad.
Karri had taken a small bowl of salad from the table that wasn't for Pokemon, but she didn't think they would mind so much. The teal colored cermaic bowl floated in front of her as if it were actually on a table. Next to the bowl was a glass of water and hovering around randomly were her strawberries. Who needed tables, what silly humans, she thought laughing to herself. She munched on the leafy greens of in the blue bowl, a stray piece of tomato hand found it's way onto her fork. The fork of course was also held up and moved with psychic powers. She didn't really need it, but she was a sophisticated kind of Pokemon so she insisted on it's use. Karri nodded as Ulani asked for a strawberry, she didn't mind sharing at all. The red fruit floated over to the bird before dropping it onto it's beak.
No one seemed to bother Ivy at all as he continued to eat whatever fruit he could find. Mmm, it was delicious! That piece of watermelon was sweet and juicy. Yum!
Sapphire growled as the Aipom hand just snatched his piece of meat! Who did he think he was?! before he could spring into action and cause a mess Ivy handed him a piece of meat. Sapphire gave a low whine of thanks before walking his way over to Ivy to snack happily next to his favorite teammate.
Ebony swallowed a huge pice of cake that he had seemed to find on the table. The sugar high was on immediately and he flew around the room before picking out Mr. Ranmo as his target. The poor man was eating his dinner as Ebony floated over right over his plate from under the table. Think Ebony's head on a white plate. He gave a low hissing laugh before shouting a BOO with his eyes very wide.
"Ebony!" Mitsu cried in despair, "I'm so sorry Mr. Ranmo!" She apologized about a million times.

Mike nearly fell to the ground as a high speed object collided with his leg. Barely regaining his balance, he looked down to see Shocker. He blinked in confusion for a moment, half expecting her to shoot him in the face with a Thunderbolt. With a roll of his eyes, he reached down and pat the happy Raichu. Women. he mused. They were always so finicky about how they feel about things.
"Don't look at me," Mike held his free hand lazily in defense to Kasiya's question. "I never know what's going on." He grumbled as The Dame joined the ever increasing number of people who have messed up his hair in the past two days. That had to make like, six people. He wasn't too sour though, because he knew that was just her way of thanking him for taking care of her child. Well, to be honest, he's usually been the one taking care of me. he thought. There were so many times when Nitro had given his all to protect him and his friends.
After Todd and Keegan's little ritual of passing on a Charmander egg to Kasiya, a bit of mixed emotions passed over him. Part of him was happy that his friend was finally getting what she wanted, but another part of him felt outclassed, undermined. He wasn't going to be the only one with a Charmander anymore. Plus, Keegan totally outdid him by giving her a Pokemon as a gift. What was the last thing he got Flannery, flowers?! Woah, calm down. He thought, realizing he was being way too touchy. Just be happy for your friend, no one is trying to outdo you. With a quiet sharp exhale, Mike expunged his previous frustration out and lifted a smiling face to Kasiya. "Congrats Kassie." He clasped his hands behind his back and grinned. "If you need pointers when it hatches don't be afraid to call me up."
Nitro watched the egg intently as it sat in Keegan's hands. That was his brother or sister! The Charizard leaned closer, his long neck craning to get a better look. Napalm climbed up the dragon's wing, resting himself on Nitro's head to snag a look of the egg himself. It was so small. He couldn't believe that a little over a week ago he was in one of those. The Magby watched with wide eyes as the egg sat there still.

Kasiya felt herself shrink a little as Mr Summers loomed over her, and she carefully listened to every word he said. Despite this, nothing really sank in, and it wasn't until the gleaming orange egg was being held out to her that she even blinked. "For me?" she asked, but no sound came out other than a little squeak. Her own cheeks flushed as well, matching the shade of Keegan's hair and she raised her shaking hands to accept it. Finally, the realization of it began to get to her and she blinked again, feeling overwhelming tears began to well up in her eyes before streaming down her cheeks. "I don't know what to say," she gulped, hugging the egg tightly to her chest. It felt so warm and smooth and she was certain she could feel something moving in there. "Thank you," she said brightly, looking at everyone in turn. "Thank you so much! I promise to take very good care of it," she said solemnly still hugging the smooth, round egg as she looked up at Mike and Nitro. "I'll be sure to ask you if I need help," she said, smiling at her friend. And it was true - after all, he was the one with the tall, powerful Charizard standing beside him. "If my Charmander turns out to be even half as tough as you, Nitro, then I'll be happy."
It was quite obvious that Kasiya was oblivious to Mike's rampaging, inner emotions. Now intrigued, Shocker gave Mike a final hug before jumping up onto her trainer's shoulder to study the egg. She leaned forward and pressed a paw up against it before squealing in delight. If she didn't know any better she figured there was a brand new teammate in there! The Raichu cried out happily once more before she practically hugged Kasiya's face in excitement. Kasiya reached up and pried the Raichu off of her before grinning back at the Summers'. "Thank you... again... thank you so much," she said, nearly bouncing up and down. "When do you suppose it'll hatch?" she asked, even though it was more out of curiosity than an actual want to know. If it took a month, then she'd carry it for a month!
"Okay... now I wasn't expecting that," Flannery said, shrugging her shoulders as Kasiya accepted the egg from Keegan. "She's lucky, that's for sure," she added before nudging Mike with her elbow. However, he seemed to be lost in his thoughts for the moment. Flannery studied him for a moment, a small smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. She hadn't grown up alongside him and not learned to read his facial expressions. She decided not to say anything though and instead let her slender fingers dance along the small of his back. This was a moment for Kassie and Keegan and she decided not to interrupt it with more of her random comments for now.

Taking a look at all the food Robin finally decided on pasta and a small bit of soup that was also brought out. She carefully took a bit of her pasta before a smile spread on her face. It was very good! No wonder Luffy was just chowing down with no end in sight. As she munched on her pasta Robin listened to Mitsu complement her pokemon and smiled happily to her, she knew better then to talk with her mouthful. When she swallowed she thanked Mitsu properly. "Thanks, I haven't really seen any of your pokemon before, they all look so strong." She felt somewhat nervous with how strong these pokemon and their equally strong trainers.
For a second she munched happily on the most expensive meal she had ever eaten and most likely ever would eat. Her family wasn't rich at all, in fact they were fairly poor so they didn't eat out all that often. She didn't mind though, her mom and dad were good cooks, sometimes she was to. She watched with mild amusement the excitement going down on the other side of the table.
When Mitsu made her little speech Robin thought for a second debating if she should do the same. Shrugging, and hoping that she didn't embarrass herself Robin decided to introduce herself. "Umm since I don't really know that many of you I figured I should take a page out of Mitsu's book and introduce myself as well. Erm, my name is Robin Knight if I didn't tell you and I don't really have a goal. Well, thats not true, I sorta do... Umm, I want to travel around and make as many friends as I can. I would also like to a strong trainer so I don't disappoint my nakama on the way." She started to trail off at the end but she still felt proud of herself for making her little speech. Granted it was no where as good as Mitsu's but Mitsu seemed a lot more brave then her.
Luffy didn't seem to notice his trainers speech or that he irritated some pokemon by eating their food as well. He was happy to just be surrounded by food and his nakama. Razputin was munching on a melon slice with a happy look on his buggy face. As for Brook, well he didn't really need to eat so he just spun around some laughing happily before deciding he wanted to be near the lady trainers. Skipping forward he scampered under the table before jumping up into his trainers lap. Since he was so short though all you could really see were his little leaf feelers.
"Gah! Brook? What are you doing?" She cried before letting the Hoppip settle down with his happy laugh.

Kilik practically stabbed the steak that he now put on his plate and put a large chunk into his mouth, chewing quickly. He felt pretty intimidated by M.A.'s brother and the steak didn't go down so easy. "W-well. I, uh..." he looked over his shoulder at his Flareon and the Elekid that was practically in his face. Taking a small steak square, he put it on a fork and fed it to the plug. "I'd like to think I'm a good trainer. I plan on being a Gym Leader, I guess that's something to look forward to." Kilik suddenly felt like a man of few words.
"OH GOODNESS!" Mr. Ranmo laughed, dropping his knife onto the plate with a loud clatter. "Mitsu, madam, it's quite alright!" He placed a hand on his chest and made sure that his heart was still beating. Even Mrs. Ranmo found it funny. The woman smiled at the Gengar and shook her head. "You can't do that to old men! They'll have heart attacks," though she said it all in a very light-hearted fashion. "My ticker is fine, Judith. And this is a fantastic Gengar, my word. Which reminds me of Dr. Samuel's silly theory. Can you believe he actually thinks that Gengar are merely the shadows of Clefable?" he poked the fork through Ebony's face and took another bite of his steak, "I mean, they do have similar structures, but I say. It is quite silly."
When Ebony shouted, Janie clinged to her older brother and squeaked. "Kiwik, it's scary!" she whimpered. It suddenly reminded her of all the scary things that her dad's Kabutops would do in light of 'good fun'. She buried her face in his shoulder and became uninterested in eating. Kilik patted his sister and merely went back to eating. When his mountain of potatoes had dwindled, he piled more on. Boy, did he love his potatoes. He looked up at M.A. then smiled, glancing over to Mitsu and Robin. His dad was right: this was what life was about.

"Interesting essay he had, though," Rustings replied, now analyzing the Gengar. "Don't believe it, though. Mika here used it as firewood for the ol' chimney last Christmas, so I never got to finish it."
M.A. listened as her new friends described themselves. Well, at least she got the basics down now. Fortunately she didn't inherit her mother's forgetfulness, so she'd remember their names and faces with no difficulty. They continued to eat for a while, until everyone was leaning back in their seats, resuming their conversations at full-blast.
But not for long! For here came desert in the form of several waiters whisking in with little platters of apple pie a la mode in their hands. "Hope you all saved room for desert," Mrs. Rustings grinned, her voice like little silver bells. Little woman, little voice, big disasters.
Daemyn had fallen asleep at M.A.'s feet somehow throughout the ruckus, and the girl had to maneuver very carefully lest she accidentally give him the boot. Ulani, meanwhile, had found a new idol in Karri. She was so... so... graceful! She hoped she could be like that one day. Some day.
Tora was pretty much dead on the floor, but ah well.

Ebony hissed as the fork went through him, right between the eyes too! He laughed whole heartedly before clamping himself over Kilik's shoulder that was opposite to Janie. "Geng-gengar!" he laughed at Kilik. His trainer had such wonderful friends! Why had he not been introduced earlier?! He pouted slightly at Mitsu before turning that frown back into his usual smile which was both endearing but very creey at the same time. Ebony made a goofy face at the little girl when he was sure Mitsu wasn't looking.
"I'm sorry, he gets a bit out of hand when he has sweets," Mitsu said with an apologetic smile towards Mrs. Ranmo. The dinner wasn't half bad afterall. And was even better when they introduced the dessert. She'd never had apple pie before but after one bite she found it to be incredibly delicious. "Haven't had this before," she said with a smile that she was unable to contain, "But it tastes really good!"
Smelling the delicious aroma of cooked apples Ivy quickly seized a plate off the table before eating it all in one bite. Wow, it tasted really good! The fruit here was excellent, almost as if it were picked fresh from the tree moments before.
Sapphire turned his nose away from the fruity smell. He much prefered the yummy steak that he was munching on. he owed Ebony one for snagging that off the human table for him.
Karri herself had finished eating as well and also had some of the apple pie. Mitsu was right! It tasted excellent, she'd have to remember to eat this again sometime for it was her first time eating duch a dessert as well.

Kilik piled deserts on his plate like a little kid. In fact, he was pretty sure he had a bigger sweet tooth than his little sister. He hummed to himself and glanced around at his friends. He shoveled the ice cream into his mouth and dropped his spoon on his plate with a clatter. "Augh! Brain Freeze!" he cried out, holding his head. It stung and was probably the worst brain freeze he'd ever had in the history of his life.
"That's what you get for eating too fast," Mr Ranmo chuckled, digging into a slice of apple pie. It was warm and delicious. "You know, Judith never cooks apple pie. Why don't you ever cook me apple pie?" he asked. Wrong question. She frowned and looked at him. "Because it would go straight to your thighs. That's why I make you sugar-free things for desert. Of course, that doesn't seem to help either." The woman prodded her husband's wiggly belly. He sighed. "Y'know with all the digging I do, I'm surprised I'm not as fit as Saebum. Or Kilik. They're both strong, healthy looking boys. What's your secret, kids?"
Kilik glanced over at his dad. "You know, I don't eat much. And I'm only fifteen, dad. I walk everywhere, I play with my Pokemon...honestly, I'm surprised I'm not withering away." He prodded his peach cobbler with a spoon, then ignored it, going right back to the ice cream.

M.A. grinned at Ebony's antics. What a fun Pokemon, she thought.
Rein answered for Sae's sake, stuffing a bit of apple pie in his mouth because he could speak for himself. "Good food and some TLC," the lavender-haired woman replied, grinning wolfishly as she patted her fiance's chest.
M.A., half finished with her pie slice, put her fork down and settled her cheek into a hand with a smile, rolling her eyes a little as she did so. She didn't really want to consider if there was any hidden meaning in Rein's words; although she liked her brother's fiancee very much and was excited in having someone to call a sister, she certainly did not want to know about their personal life. But my, Rein was so pretty! Then again, Sae was handsome too, although she'd never let him know that -- his ego didn't need more inflating. Once again, she felt a wave of sadness; their childhood days really were over now. She was going out on her own adventure, and Sae was moving out to begin his new family. Her parents weren't her anchors anymore -- she was her own anchor. It was both exciting and a bit frightening, this new responsibility. M.A. hadn't really thought about it before.
After they finished their deserts, waiters began to drift in and take away the empty plates. The Pokemon buffet was pretty much cleared now, and they began to take away the pans as well. M.A. leaned back, feeling just about stuffed to the brim. Glancing to the side of the room, she spotted a dead Tora and returned her to her Pokeball. She'd have about a super-charged battery's worth of energy tomorrow from all the calories she had saved up on today, M.A. figured with a grin to herself.
The idle chatter continued for a little while before the Rustings noted that they were the last ones in the restaurant. The waiters were politely waiting for them to leave so that they might finish their jobs and head home, too. "Well, looks like the party's over, friends," Mr. Rustings rumbled, taking both of Ranmo's hands and giving them a hearty shake. Same with Mrs. Ranmo, although more gently. Men had to be men, after all. Mrs. Rustings shook their hands too, her touch feather-like. She really did have a frail appearance. But somehow she always saved herself from disaster, one way or another.
They left now, waving to all and wishing everyone a good night. Mika Rustings looked back at her children fondly before leaving. They wouldn't be staying with them tonight... how lonely. Rein rose, yawning a little. "Wanna go, Sae?" she smiled, stretching a little. "Sure babe, just go ahead of me for now. I'll be there in a little bit, mm?" he answered, glancing at M.A. as he did so. Rein understood from this little motion, her violet eyes not missing a beat. "Alright~ See ya soon," she said, picking up her jacket and purse and exiting the room.
Ulani woke up around then, noticing everyone leaving. Oh! Dinner must be over, she thought, a bit teary from just waking. Without further ado, she fluttered down to Luffy, thanked him for her use of his hat, then thanked Karri for her help before light-heartedly coming back to M.A. and returned herself to her Pokeball respectively. M.A. then recalled Daemyn as well, snoring as he was under the table.
"Hey, M.A.," Michael said, draping an arm around her shoulder. "Let's go take a walk! Like old times."
"Huh! Old times? They're not that old," she said, smiling a little. "But sounds good to me. Mitsu, Kilik, Robin~ see you all later! Bye Mr. and Mrs. Ranmo, Janine. Have a good night!" She wasn't sure of where they were all staying, or where she was staying the night either, but she figured it might be at a PokeCenter. Or even her parents' hotel room. Dubious on the latter.
With that, arm in arm, sister and brother were the next to leave.

How dare he! Who could ignore this spunky, trickster? Ebon thought as Kilik had totally ignored him as he continued to shovel ice cream and peach cobbler into his mouth. Was he like Ebony too? He could eat everything and not even feel like he had eaten? Well then again humans needed to eat and it was more of a hobby for himself. Maybe this human hadn't eaten in a while, a long while. Using Psychic Ebony tossed a bit of vanilla ice cream onto his face as he cringed from the brain freeze. Heh heh heh, that should get his attention!
"AH! Ebony, stop it right now!" Mitsu cried again after she had recalled Sapphire and Ivy into thier own Pokeballs. The Rusting's family was all gone now and the table was nearly empty. "Well I guess it's time to go," Mitsu said holding up Karri's ball. A flash of red light conusmed the psychic, but only after a few puzzeled waiters retrieved thier china and glassware from the psychic's make shift table. The green aura each disappearing as the waiters grabbed thier stuff.
Mitsu held up Ebony's Pokeball before he could do anymore damage to the Ranmo family before stepping out into the cold night air. The air was slightly chilly and it felt nice against Mitsu's skin. Not as cold as the air in Mossdeep but it'd do for now. "Now, where am I crashing for the night. . ." she wondered to herself.

Crenu waited for Nurse Joy to give him back his pokemon. The first stop he made after departing from the party for a second time was the center, his pokemon needed to be healed after that battle with Mitsu. He had a feeling about her, but he had no idea she was that strong. All the more reason to train harder for the next battle. After what seemed like an eternity, Chansey came out with a tray of pokeballs and motioned that they were for him. Nurse Joy must have been busy taking care of other pokemon, none of his business really. He took his pokeballs and left the center, he was going to train some more. The night was relatively young, not like he planned on getting up early for anything. He decided not to wonder far from the Poke Center so he could get his pokemon treated again if the need arise, but he was going for some light training so it was unlikely. A few meters from the Poke Center he let out all four of his pokemon, work needed to be done. Looking at his team he simply rose a hand and they knew the drill. Hitmonlee and Larvitar paired off while Poliwag and Ariados did the same. "Alright, first I want Hitmonlee to go after Larvitar with Rolling Kicks, Larvitar will defend with Brick Break. Hitmonlee, you work on doing your Rolling Kicks the way I showed you and Larvitar, your Brick Break could use some more power behind it so Don't let Hitmonlee's kicks break through." The two pokemon nodded (Hitmonlee did more of a bow since he had no head really) and began. Larvitar was much shorter than Hitmonlee, so when Lee hopped forward and came around with the kick he had to do an overhead strike. This was an uncomfortable position and when fist and foot collided, Larvitar lost control and was struck hard. "Again. Hitmonlee, he's at a higher level of power than you so don't hold back anything. As for you two, your Ice Beam needs to be faster Poliwag. Ariados, use Fury Swipes on Poliwag and see if you can't get him to gather energy a little faster. You try and hit her with a strong Ice Beam before she gets you. Go!" Poliwag immediately began powering up an Ice Beam, but Ariados was to quick and was inside and swiping away. She only scratched at him a few times, they were working on his timing after all unlike the other two. Hitmonlee had gone after Larvitar once more who was still finding it hard to counter the above kick, but was getting there. Crenu smiled a little as the cool air blew by him, he liked it a lot.

"Again!" Hitmonlee again jumped forward, his body turning first with his leg whipping right after it. Larvitar gave up on a complete overhead block and jumped up as well, his glowing fist slamming into Hitmonlee's foot. The two appeared frozen for a moment as they pushed with all their might, but Larvitar's brick Break was a stronger attack and it the power struggle ended almost instantly. Lee's leg was repelled and he was made to spin backwards to his original position. Immediately he jumped back into another attack, he was going to beat that Larvitar even if it took all night! Larvitar on the other hand was content simply doing as ordered, repelling kick after kick with his Brick Break to build it's power. Crenu was satisfied to see both of his power houses locked in a personal conflict, so he turned his attention back to Poliwag and Ariados. Poliwag was covered in scratches while Ariados showed no signs of damage and the battle field did not seem in the least bit frozen over. It was no good, Poliwag wasn't going to be able to get a suitable Ice Beam out any quicker, not in this stage. "Alright, take a breather Poliwag. Ariados, practice your Fury Swipes in the mean time." Poliwag fell back into a sitting position to regain his composure while Ariados swiped at the air. Hitmonlee was send spinning back once again, he was getting fed up now and he had had enough getting pushed aside. He came in once again, but didn't hop up this time. He instead took a step forward and rose his leg straight up into the air. His foot began to glow as he brought it down with tremendous force, clashing with Larvitar's fist. As the two forces collided the small shock wave of the forces the two created kicked up a little sand and caught Crenu's attention. "What's this?" The power struggle ended with both pokemon backing off, only to come forward with the same attack ad clashing again in the same manner. Crenu grinned as he watched, that stance was undeniable. "So you can use Brick Break as well...very interesting. Keep at it then!"

The two Brick Breaks met time and again, each time they got harder and they started to make sounds like those of beating war drums. "Hitmonlee, Double Kick! Larvitar Sand Storm!" Hitmonlee leaped inward swinging his foot downward at Larvitar who had taken a defensive stance. Taking the first kick, he was knocked of balance and took a few steps back. "Double Kick agian!" Hitmonlee jumped forward again, but this time Larvitar dodged the first kick entirely. Before Hitmonlee could come around with the second kick, Larvitar unleashed a sand twisted that pushed Hitmonlee back several feet. Larvitar looked ever serious as he aimed that vortex of sand at Hitmonlee again, ready to engulf him in the swirling sand. "Break through it Hitmonlee, Jump Kick now!" Hitmonlee didn't need to be told twice, he contracted the muscles in his legs and shot forward like a rock from a sling shot, his leg aimed directly for Larvitar. He flew into the sand vortex and started to plowed through it, but Larvitar put more energy into his Sand Storm and started to draw in sand from the beach. His vortex became large and powerful, Hitmonlee was swept up in it's tornado-like pull and was sent soaring backwards as the storm grew in size and power. "That's enough Larvitar!" Larvitar stopped feeding it on command, but the attack had picked up enough momentum to keep itself going. Crenu recalled Hitmonlee from the sand twister and released him back on safe ground, watching as the twisted traveled along the beach and started to grow smaller. It would die out on it's own, and if it blew sand in someones face then that was their problem. "Heh, not bad. Alright, take it easy for right now, I'll come back to you guys in a sec. Enough rest Poliwag, use Bubble now! Ariados, counter with Poison Sting. Now!" Poliwag got up and beat the ground with his tail in eagerness to prove himself, it seemed that he was always making Crenu upset with him and that needed to change. Taking a deep breath, Poliwag spat out dozens of bubbles at Ariados, who responded almost instantly with a barrage or poison filled needles.
