Hiei's smile faded. The girl still wasn't a threat and the bird seemed to have left the area, so he didn't consider any danger right not. " your not really from around here are you Hitomi? " he asked holding his hands at his sides. " are you even a student here? " he asked, with nothing to garente a truthful anser. He walked onto a small path heading toword the main area of the village, but it was a large distance in between them and the village so it would still take a while longer to reach it.

Hitomi noted the distrust. "I am a student here, but no, I am from nowhere near here." She left it at that. She continued walking, marking the map in her mind with their location. She wondered how Kon~kou was faring, but she put it out of her mind as she strode slightly behind and to the right of the boy in front of her

Hiei stoped as she grew closer to him. " you lied about your name so i just figured you'd lied about everything. " he said, then turned back on to the path and waited. Baylonka had made his way on Hiei's neck and over to the other shoulder where he was now laying. " So honestly; your name really is Hitomi and not kurenia? " he asked.

"Tell your opponent nothing of yourself, as every single word brings you closer to defeat. What if you were in the Bingo book, and you told them your real name? They could have all of your information: jutsus, strengths, weaknesses, all of it memorized. It's easier to lie and start with a clean slate." Hitomi stopped in front of him, standing cool and still, waiting for him to make a move.

Hiei crossed his arms and forwned. " but we go to the same school. Its not like i'm a ninja from anouther country. I don't even have a head band yet. And besides, what have you done to get into our bingo book? " he asked puzzled and a little hurt. " Trust is the most valuable asset you can ever earn as a shinobi. And its hard to earn it when the first thing you tell me, when we first meet, is a lie "

"The first thing I told you was a truth." She grinned. "I told you that you should watch your pup more closely, lest he get eaten. The second thing I told you was that you were lucky I caught Kon~kou in time. The third thing was a question: how are you going to become a genin wearing a blindfold. The fourth thing, however, was a lie."

Headbutting the floor again, the young student would have blood trickling from his forhead. Both anger and fatigue racking over his body. But he was not so ready to give up as he thought he was. Even subconsciously, his will to keep going would force him up to his knees, once more channeling almost all of his chakra to try and break through this jutsu.

Rai's concentration was a little shaky again. Not able to pull of this technique was going to drive him insane. Or atleast put him on track to getting that way later down the line. Closing his eyes, he would picture physical movement of breaking through the ropes. Trying to also concentrate on the direction of his chakras flow.

Hitomi smiled, watching as he ran into the village. "Good. I can't be pretending to make any friends here. They get in the way of perfectly laid plans." Hitomi walked to a tree, looking at it for a moment, and placing her hand against a bald spot in the bark. She began to focus her chakra into her palm, forcing it into the tree. "I wonder what happens... It could take years to find out... Better to wait until I can perform better than to waste my time and energy for something that probably won't be here when the changes do come about. But still... I need something to do..." She thought... "Oh, well... Better to serve my experiment while I can..." She looked at the tree. "You'll serve to aid your own cause, my friend..."

Deciding it better not to take a running start, Hitomi steps up to the tree, placing her foot on a comfortable spot. She began to focus her chakra into the bottom of her feet, to find out exactly what she'd need to do to make it work... She knew it was possible... But she didn't know if it was plausible for someone of her level... She tried a bit of psychology and imagined herself walking up the side of the tree.

((Roll= 19. Chakra control =1, INT mod=1. 19+1+1= 21.
DC=20.
Success.))
Hitomi felt her foot stick to the tree. She pushed it slightly higher and leaned back as she placed her left foot above it, walking slowly and calmly up the side of the tree. "I could get used to this. If everything is this easy, I should be out of here in no time." She put her hands in her pockets, letting her hair fall back as she stood horizontally, attached to the trunk.

Hitomi got bored and, turning around, walked back down the trunk of the tree and began to walk towards the village, looking to her left as she saw Kon~kou circling around to meet her. "Come on, girl, let's go see what the ruckus is about." Even from here she could smell the explosions on the wind. "Maybe we'll see some action after all"

Rai felt like there was something wrong outside of this place. So much was going on around him. Here he was, stuck in class.. missing all the fun. Simply because he wasn't strong enough to break the jutsu. He couldn't stand for this. His focus just remained the same. Because it couldn't possibly get any higher.

A small smirk, amidst all his failures. He would smile at the discontent of the other student as the female student had lied directly to his face. Corruption of any kind was amusing to Rai, intriguing even. This would help him focus on his jutsu. Seeming to almost rejuvenate him as he would give it another try. The motivation that they had given him get the drive he needed once again for success, or so he hoped.
