I think I have discovered an unusual love of mine. The love of improbable simulations. I spent all day the day before yesterday making up a simulation for the possible growth of a drow city, complete with births, house creation, assassinations, and house destruction. How sad. Particularly as how can I add the rampant plots that go on? The seething of the common underbelly? The merchants? And I kinda plucked numbers out of midair that seemed right...

Before this one, I made a population growth type one. It wasn't really supposed to be accurate; I was just trying to prove that there was no way, even under the best circumstances, that the Thundercats could repopulate their race, and therefore had no reason to take the death of all those ships around their vessel so calmly. They should have been freaking out that they were the only ones, for crying out loud! Unfortunately, I have gotten up to about year 12 and I think I'm proving myself wrong. But! It is only the twelfth year!

Anyway, I think there is something worse about all this. I think I like making them better than doing them. I haven't done anything with the drow one, and really, I've only done the Thundercat one maybe seven times? In the past year? So, I can predict, that in the future, when I die, my descendents will go in my house and find papers scattered about the rooms, charting simulations of the silliest things and they will wonder how they never realized how crazy I was and how I shoulda been in a nuthouse. Scary thought, there.

For crying out loud, I even made a picture of the front of the First House compound! ...I kinda like the designs. ^^; I have to say, I did borrow from Beanre when it looked too empty. I added a tall net fence/curtain sorta thing around the compound and added a huge medallion wedged in between the points of a stalactite and a stalagmite, that fades from a stylized spider to an abstract drow female's face. Borrowed, of course, from Beanre's metal spider web fence given by Lolth that sticks whoever touches it until the Matron lets them go, and the illusion in the temple that goes from a spider, to a beautiful drow female. I dunno what my curtain will do...I'm thinking acid.

I must just like the thinking of all this the best. Gah. I have to do something with all this! I came up with names and, subsequently, beginning personalities for the family of the First/original House! I kinda want to see where they'll go. If the first daughter will kill her mother, or fail miserably. Whether the younger daughters will ever move out of the house. If Matron Akorstinynda will give birth or crush one of her daughters under her heel. I kinda wish I could do more...I can see one of the brothers secretly following Vhaeraun and I want to know what'll happen to him. I think another one is a Drizzt type and, well, how do you put chances into their lives to leave, or find a group of Eilistraee followers?
