((willow and I are sisters, hence we see each other everyday therefore we have each other complete permission and confidence to RP the other's character in a scene, warning long post ahead))
When Shannon returned to Sayid she found him kneeling underneath the tarp at his small table, pencil in hand. She collapsed next to him in the sand.
"Did you talk to Boone?" He inquired turning to smile in her direction. She shook her head, reluctant to speak at first.
"He looks happy..." She said finally, trying to peer at the papers scattered before him.
" Are you?" His voice was soft and she turned to face him, papers forgotten.
"I am...well maybe I'm a little...jealous I mean he used to be like my puppy dog, you know? He'd follow me everywhere, do anything I wanted, he'd even fly halway around the freakin' world when I asked...I caught him watching me in the shower once, you know, when we were younger?...I almost killed him...idiot." She laughed softly at the memory. Sayid didn't seem bothered by this.
"Let us talk of something else then...where is the water? I know you took the bottles because they were gone when I woke."
"Well...I didn't want to disturb him so I didn't get any?" She finished it like a question, tilting her head to the side and grinning. " Am I in trouble now?"
"Perhaps." Sayid said, a glint in his eye as Shannon's hand slid over his to pull away the nearly flattened pencil. "How hard did you try to get the water?"
"Not very..." She smiled and slid herself a little closer, so that a stray curl tickled her cheek. Sayid seemed about to respond but decided against it and leaned in, pressing their lips together before putting his weight against her so that they fell back onto the sand, her golden hair splaying out around her. His hands felt along her tank top-one of those frilly, flirty things which seemed impractical for an Island but so like everything else she owned
"Get a room for Christ's sake!" The voice was unmistakably Saywer's and the two drew apart-Sayid with a smirk.
"Shut it Harry Potter," Shannon said with a laugh.

movie_fanatic Claire took Leslie back from Boone's arms and rocked her slowly in her arms. (sorry I've been gone, I've been really busy with band and quizebowl.) Jessie smiled at the baby and Claire, and she finally broke her silence. "What's her name?"

Jesse stared at the woman. "That is absoultly beautiful," she said smiling. "I'm Jesse." The girl got to her feet smiling.

Jesse ran one of her hands through her hair. "I know I haven't said much, but I'm not really all that talkitive unless I know that I'm going to be accepted by the one I'm talking to. Please tell me that you weren't on the plane because you were going to give that baby up?" Jesse asked out of curosity.

Boone looked to Claire, hearing something in her voice. Was she going to have given up the baby?

((I wish I could say I had been exploring Atlantis or something, but in actuality, I was just reading Jane Austen. xp Oh, Nolah was thinking of a plot line Boone and Shannon might end up with)) Boone tried to give a reassuring smile back, as he took a seat next to her.

Claire smiled and rested her head on Boone's shoulder. She liked the feeling of security she had when he was near her. It was just so nice to know she could count on someone.

Claire switched Leslie to her other arm and took Boone's hand with her free hand. She smiled and looked up to him.
"Did you do anything fun today?"
She asked him.
