Well the chain was in his bag, and he had a small ball the size of a golf ball in there too. He basically clicked a button on the ball that made it get bigger and get spikes and attached it to the chain. I'm kinda making Memo some sort of weapon's expert like Tenten or Emmi Isuzu from Tenjho Tenge (:
