*Mercy stayed on the floor her hands never leaving Lav though as she looked to the others she tried hard and kept her anger down muttering a quick apology then sighed.* "Everyone has a reason or another to fear the coucil it seems." *She whispered and smiled solemnly at Lady.* "But . . . Even someone as powerful as Ivan has to report to someone . . . yes?" *She looked wildly over to Mark.*

Mark sighed "The only people Ivan has ever answered to is The Devil himself, and the first immortal. Other than that Ivan answers to no one, he is the oldest of us other than the first immortal that is still alive. And even then Ivan pretty much has free reign to do as he pleases. The first and the Devil have no problems with Ivan taking back Mother and Edward."

"That's true . . . . but . . . . what if we got something on the Devil himself?" *She spoke quickly her mind reeling. She had delt with Lucifer himself before and had come out alive and well, well not exactly well considerin no one wins when making a deal with the devil, but being as she had done so previously it couldn't hurt to try.*

lance came back into the room (figured i should be gone because i was in Penn for a few days) he heard mercys suggestion "i doubt that Satan has a point we can leverage and no one wins when dealing with the devil" he thought for a second "what about the first immortal maybye we could find a way to deal with him?"

*MErcy hissed at him.* "Learn to hold your tongue and you'll live longer." *She smiled angelically then turned back.* "I don't care much for your doubts dolt, The fact is not many know how to contact the first in any event and I've known the devil since my birth, like I said I've made deals with him before, known with so much on stake, simply my life. He's the reason I know for a fact the Den'nali will not last with me dead. Have you ever played chess my dear?" *She looked over and shrugged.* "I guess not, It's always best to have a leverage before you use a fork." *She giggled at the irony of the statement and stared back to Lav sweetly stroking her face.*

"Your illusions are highly rudementary to him. He is very powerful and considering illusions don't work much on him, he can see them perfectly fine and know what is and isnt. Just as is my abilities. They can never hold or do absolute damage. I am not that strong. I don't even have anything over Lady and he bats her around like a ragdoll, so..."

Cali sighed at mercy "The Devil is routing for Grandfather. There is no way he would go against him. And the First never leaves his chambers in London."
Mark sighed and looked at Lance "Lance, Ivan is literally one of the first vampires ever born. He was the first son of the First Vampire. He has the closest ties to the original gene manipulation that is why those of us with his blood so close to us are able to walk under the sun, that gene flaw happened after the blood was mixed with too many humans." He sighed "Illusions are childs play for Ivan, Hell they are childs play for Edward over there and he is a 2 year old non-vampire. Most of our abilities here will not work on Ivan, they are simple compaired to what he can do." He looked at Voro "He bats her around like a ragdoll because thats all she is to him. She is not powerful enough to be anything more to him."
She shifted slightly in her sleep when Mercy touched her

He nodded agreeing with Mark. "So Mercy, there are forces that can stop Ivan, they are very rare to find and use."

Wolf pet Chachos hair as they talked. He was disliking Ivan more and more as they talked. He growled Forces to stop him? What the hell would that be. Cause to me it seems, if he is so old and powerful, not much is gonna work. He leaned back, giving an exasperated sigh. He doubted that they wouyld ever really face Ivan or go against him anyway.

Mark sighed "Ivan is almost unstopable. There are small weaknesses but its hard to find those who can. There is really no way to stop him, other than Mother, she will eventually stop him."

Cali actually shook her head at Mercy "Lucifer has a personal stake in this, if Grandfather can get Mother back. Grandfather promised Mother to him after he started the clan again."
Mark sighed "That is because she truly did die when Death attacked the castle. Athena died that day, there is no way she could ever help. Only Mother can save herself from Ivan."
