3.14 Shoujo Phoenix This bird is sooooo cute...it almost hurts. crying heart It keeps falling asleep on me. Beeerd. crying We had a bird once, it was a canary. We had to watch it for awhile because a family friend moved and couldn't keep it. It was a pain in the a**, because we had five cats. Everytime we left we had to put it in an air tight safe 50 miles below the ground. We've just got one ancient parrot that acts like a grumpy old man. Killer death parrot of doom. Our cat is actually afraid of it. XD

Peppermint Elf You can do it, Luna!!! Best of luck! whee heart Thanks!!!! Zero Omega You can do it Luna! IRON FIST!!!1 scream What's a Court Advocate, by the way? Ahh, a court advocate is someone who helps someone as they're dealing with the court process. It's not like a lawyer. In the case of a Court Advocate for victims of SA and DV, I would help explain and go through the process of filing 51As (restraining orders), and help coach them on what to expect. I also may have to safety plan with the survivor, because some abusers are psychotic enough to attack or even kill the survivor. In some extreme cases, I would obtain appropriate clothing for them, because as much as some might not like to admit it, a well dressed person is going to be taken more seriously than someone who looks like a street urchin. I would be a support for the person, because in most cases, the law states that the accused has the right to face his accuser. Considering all the psychological crap that goes into a sexual assault or an abusive relationship, I'm sure you can see how facing the abuser can be very traumatic. There's more to it, but I'm not sure of all the details yet. I know the court system fails. Often. But I think I can do more good in the courts than in a program coddling teen mothers. And who knows, maybe someday I'll be a senator...LOL

LunaInverse May letters are sooo expensive... crying It's just crazy. I saw someone trying to sell one for 31,000g... sweatdrop And I don't want to see any random donations in my inventory, either... stare On a side note, I have an interview within my current agency to be a Court Advocate for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence tomorrow. *is very nervous* Interesting choice of jobs to apply for... *had never heard of it* sweatdrop Still, never a dull moment, even if those moments won't be so great starting out. However, I think that when you get the job (feel my supreme confidence in your ablities! scream ), and help them, it'll leave you with some serious satisfaction, which is important in a job. *nod* I won't wish you luck, cause you won't need it. SUCCESS! scream

They fluctuate so much and with this glitchy market, it's hard to tell, but before the market went wonky, they were anywhere around 620k+. I paid 625k for mine though but that was quite a while back.

Let's just say I overpaid by 25k. sweatdrop I saw them selling on the marketplace for 705k and 725k, so I figured I should grab one since it was.... within my budget. crying

hilaroma I finally got my Zen Vision: M player (birthday present from my parents) on Saturday, but I wasn't able to even turn it on until today. Review (so far) - I really don't like how I'm not able to make my own folders because all of my songs were so well-organized before I loaded them on this thing. =/ - the touch pad is just as difficult as everyone says it is. I often end up selecting the wrong things. I really hope I'll get used to it... - the software is a little confusing to work with at first, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I'm not sure if it's my fault or not, but it ended up adding a bunch of songs I didn't want; I really have to figure out how to not do that in the future. - I HATE the earbuds. They're too big and hurt my ears, so I just got out my old Sony headphones. They're much cooler anyways. - I LOVE being able to listen to all of my music without being on the computer! *couldn't keep up with technology if her life depended on it* rolleyes heart - it has WAY more space on it than I need right now, but that's okay because I intend to find more cds and things to fill it up with. - the blue color is just beautiful! 4laugh - Off-topic, but The Pillows are totally WIN. whee I keep re-discovering them every time I get a chance to listen to them. It's like, "Oh yeah! These guys are awesome!" How could I have possibly fogotten? xp So despite being iffy about the software and controls, I really really like it so far. I love my music so much! crying heart In totally other news, I have an interview with Jamba Juice tomorrow, and one with Bath & Body Works (my former work) on Thursday. Wish me luck, especially with the Jamba one. I would much rather work there than BBW. I dislike working retail because I don't like trying to sell people things they don't want to buy. I hate pushy salespeople and really don't want to have to become one in order to earn money. Hila is sensitive. That makes her a sad panda. crying Yay for the Zen-thingie! I've only played with mine a little bit, but had similar thoughts. I still love the idea of having high-quality music to take me with me. My old portable CD player thingie was so touchy, it skipped with almost every step. The touch pad...is terrible. I still haven't gotten used to it, even after switching it to low sensitivity. It's my biggest gripe with the player. There are times when I get pretty good with it and almost always get where I want to be, but then there are moments when it takes me about a dozen attempts to get into a menu. The earbuds aren't great, either. I had the same problem with the big and the hurting, and they just don't want to stay in my ears. I should purchase some new headphones, myself. I only got the 8GB player and I got it about half-filled with very little effort. But it is a pretty enormous amount of space, either way, in terms of play time. I'm sure you'll get it filled up pretty quickly, though. xd Best of luck to you on the interviews! Hopefully you'll get the juice place. I can understand on not wanting to end up as a pushy salesperson. sweatdrop
