╚══════════════════════╝ Brianna was able to dodge Dris' steal attempt easily enough, but she was no match for the older chaser. Luckily Gid was able to steal it back for the lions before passing it off to Bas, who scored on the quiet boy, Hikaru. Although he missed, Bree would make sure to tell him he played well after the game ended. For now, she had to keep her head in the game and stay focused. Watching the quaffle jump from Di to Bas, she watched as he scored again. When Hikaru passed to his teammate, Brianna tried to get in the way.

Fianna's patience paid off, as she finally caught sight of the tiny object Rhys was already chasing, and she started her own chase. As she sped across the pitch, a Bludger whipped past her so close it actually brushed her helmet. 'That would have been nasty,' she thought. 'I need to catch up and get this done fast.'

Ahnna was feeling a bit under the weather so for the first few moments of the game she was kind of blurry and confused. But she snapped her head out of the fog eventually and looked around for a bludger. She spotted Rhys hot on the trail of the snitch and it looked like Fianna was close behind. She took a swing and aimed at the Gryffindor seeker.

The young lioness whipped her broomstick through a wicked snap barrel roll and into a stomach-churning corkscrewing dive, which allowed her to evade the pair of Bludgers sent her way by the Ravenclaw Beaters. 'Where the bloody hell's our Beaters?' thought Fianna irritably, as one of the animated cannonballs passed a couple inches under the sole of her shoe. 'A little counterfire would be nice, right about now. Only a matter of time before one of them gets lucky.' Picking up a bit of precious airspeed from her maneuvers, Fianna was closing the distance, but still wouldn't help her get a shot at the Snitch before Rhys would get a chance to end the match.
