I already live in Indy's water closet, what's another couple dozen? whee *puts a doggy door on her closet so WJ can come and go as he pleases* hmm... *slips some 'Beggin' Strips' under the door* though, according to a friend of mine... they don't actually taste like bacon. xd He actually tried making a 'Beggin, Lettuce and Tomato' sandwich once. Oh, dear. I've always wondered what they taste like, but I've never been quite that adventurous. I've never tried those, but I've had the regular old biscuits, and they're not as bad as one might think. They're basically just hardtack.

Actually, I think that falls under "Question About Questions About The Raisin," which really deserves a listing of its own. Wheee... The clinician I'm on service with is TEH BESTEST. (She's Finn's doctor, though, so we already knew that. surprised ) She heard about my all-nighter, and sent me home this morning once I took care of my patients. I just have to go back in to finish up stuff with my patients, but I got a nice long rest. Yayness. heart

People always ask me, "Why do you hate Kentucky so much?"
From now on, I'm going to bring up this story.
I'm getting out of my car at around 8:30 today, just about the time that a bus comes by to pick up a bunch of middle school aged kids. Anyway, there're these two kids walking towards the corner, and they stop and start talking to me.
Random White Kid: Hey... you're a redneck, aren't you?
Kin: What?
Random Black Kid: He said that you're a redneck.
Kin: Where'd you get that idea?
RWK: Your hair is past your ears.
Kin: And... that makes me a redneck?
RBK: Duh.
Kin: *Takes on Southern accent* Well na boys, I'm actually from de deep south. If anytin, yoah da ones datah rednecks.
RBK: Huh?
Kin: You see, you're basing what you think are facts on simple little things like how long my hair is. That means that you're uninformed. Ergo, I can make the same conclusions about you that you are about me, seeing as how you lack the ability to think outside of the box.
Both: ...
RWK: ... Then... you're... gay?
Of course, this went on for a while longer, with many violent answers from myself, and their pitiful attempts to counter, which I tended to cut off before they even began.
Still, I hate this state. It's like a never ending parade of stupidity.
