Zelyhon Arcane Draconum Zelyhon hilaroma Zelyhon hilaroma For some reason I was looking through the AG bios, and I saw that.... Zely plays the cello?!?!??!?! OMG, teach me? *dies* Yeah, I play cello. I'm just okay at it, though. Nothing particularly awe-inspiring, but good enough to get by. *idolizes anyway* whee I love the cello with a burning passion. I think it has something to do with the beginning of the 1812 Overture. That song is soooo beautiful! heart Yeah, cello music is probably some of the best [/not at all biased XD] I started it in elementary school and chose cello mainly because a friend of mine picked it. Since then, I've come to regard it as a wise choice, as it's certainly a better instrument than the violin eh, Phoe? xd Depends if you like lugging around something that's about as wide as you are and 2/3 your height. It builds muscles and character! That, and sounds better. And still leaves plenty of room for you to have some dignity.

Zero Omega Oh man, where's Stream when I need him? xd I was checking out the ska thread in the Music forum when I saw someone say that Less Than Jake is a horrible example of skacore, so I responded and someone else countered with this: Crack Rock Steady LTJ an example of Ska Core? They sound nothing like the SkaCore sound of SkaCore bands of their time. Choking Victim provided the way for the "Crack Rock Steady" sound which is basically "Ska-Punk" with some death metal in it. I do not believe LTJ gave us the Ska-Core sound, because the Ska-Core I listen to, is much different than LTJ's more Ska-Pop sound. So, I'mma go get this guy, if you're interested, Stream, check it: The Ska ThreadI don't bother with the music forum here on Gaia... they generally make the AMC sound open minded.

Ok. Luna and I came back a little early from AB today due to being a little worn out still from last night's AWESOME Kaiju Big Battel event. We were also a little frustrated that the con managed to ******** up a major part of their schedule by printing friday's schedule for both friday and saturday in the con guide and not really making this public knowledge unless you wandered by the information desk... So we missed several autograph signings for some people we really wanted.
However, in addition to last night's Kaiju, we also got tons of awesome swag and met Greg Ayres who signed my Saiyuki poster and Luna's DNAngel dvd cover. We also saw one woman who was cosplaying as Aang from Avatar (who I suspect may be in some stage of dealing with cancer).
Overall goodie count? 2 School Rumble gashapon figures from the beach set (Mikoto Suou and Karen Ichijou) 1 full set of the second classroom set of School Rumble figures (Harima, the Tsukamoto sisters, Eri, and Akira) A kickass messenger bag in tan with a cool black, white, and blue Ichigo on it. The Kaiju Big Battel Practical Guide to Giant City-Crushing Monsters. MANGA Bleach 13 Shounen Junai Gumi 1 (The precursor series to GTO, with young Onizuka and Ryuji. I didn't even know this got licensed...) School Rumble 2 (Skizz, I don't know if I reccomended this to you yet, but I do... Same for Mala, Aki, and Nabs) Cannon God Exaxxion 1 Basilisk 1 (I reccomended it back when it got licensed, and reccomend it again now. However, sorry Skizz, it is shrink wrapped) Kamunagara 1+2 Big Boss 1 Yongbi the Invincible 1 Bobobo - I had hoped to have Epcar sign this... but see above comment on the schedule. The Ruler of the Land 1-3 - I also reccomend this one.
Luna got a bunch of stuff too.
...A chunk of one of the buildings destroyed in Friday night's Kaiju match... the match where Dr Cube lost the title to Kung Fu Chicken Soup, no less...

Harima = win Tenma = ultimate cuteness Akira = evil and Yakumo = perfection Oh, and I forgot to mention that I also managed to get a School Rumble pencilboard with several of the girls leaving the school for home and Harima hiding behind a tree watching them. Well, maybe you'll find a copy of Basilisk someone opened. Also, the show comes out in August and Funi's booth was showing the first ep... and the voices were excellent as far as I could see. Also: Greg Ayred is the voice of Negi Springfield.
