Wodzu Vikki Keeler Lt. Brookman Let's stick it all together and get an army done by the end of the month. Make it so you useless sack of s**t. emotion_donotwant Oh, don't be so harsh smile . We just have to make some good choices wink It's her way of motivating him and showing that she cares. It might seem overly harsh, but those two have been besties forever and eternity.

Nearly there, waiting for the green primer to dry. While that's happening I'm washing the tracks and bolters with Badab black. I like these painting cheats. emo

I like these painting cheats. emo Few years back i always moaned that i don't have washes. Now i'm just using really watered up normal paints and they works just fine. Abadon Black works great on boltgun metalic, i must admit it smile

Washes are fine, but not the final solution when it comes to proper painting.

Wodzu Few years back i always moaned that i don't have washes. Now i'm just using really watered up normal paints and they works just fine. Abadon Black works great on boltgun metalic, i must admit it smile Agreed, especially when enhanced with a spot of dry-brushing. I build the models as is, leaving the tracks on the sprue, which I spray Army Painter chainmail, give them a black wash, boltgun metal drybrush and only then do I glue them to the tanks, whom have in the meantime received a nice two-colour camo scheme, also applied with primers. I've done the heavy bolters on all tanks the same way come to think of it, looks excellent! Vikki Keeler Washes are fine, but not the final solution when it comes to proper painting. Someone got snobby all of the sudden.. talk2hand On the bright side, two Leman Russ tanks and two Chimeras.. done! Not super perfect, but quick and efficient. All that's left now are twenty veterans, five Ratlings, five Rough Riders and two Sentinels. So, still a load of models left to do, but when looking at the points I've already 545 points painted up, so I'm halfway there already! The deadline though? This Friday! sweatdrop

I've done the heavy bolters on all tanks the same way come to think of it, looks excellent! I usually don't glue unpainted minis, that's first thing. I spray them with basecoat - usually abadon black, then cut them out of sprues and clean them up. Then i pain them part by part, or if i can stick them together like 2 parts of armor, i glue them, and then pain them. When everyone part is done, i glue them together, and if something does not fit happened with SM commander's hand] i work on them seperatly. And in the end when all is finished,i glue them toghether, and then i apply some black and other wash. Usualy it's enough smile
