It's not even faster! •·.·´¯`·.·• ♪ ♫ ♬ ♫ ♪ •·.·´¯`·.·•´ Sorry but the instant I got Vista, I hated it. It constantly reminded me of stupid s**t, it moved my files around, even BEFORE I got internet, so I didn't have a virus. It changed the sound on my system multiple times to the point I actually knew how to change it back, without having to call Tech support. o3o It's faster on my computer, even though I have a slow processor... So yeah, I like it.. because it hasn't done any of that s**t. It's not even faster! to be honest with you I dont know much about OS's but the reason I like 7 is because I cant afford Mac, linux confuses me, XP is easy and cool and vista doesnt cover the things I need a computer to do windows 7 just kinda covers it in a way its like XP but just have more colors and stuffs I can't think of anything that 7 can do which Vista can't o.O; It's exactly the same core engine, it's just had some parts of it stripped out to try and increase performance. @tiki: mad

I'm still running XP so my opinion on this matter is simply that Vista sucks, and having no knowledge or useage of Windows 7 I can pass not comment on it

Seriously though, she told me to get Windows 7, she said Vista isn't good at all and that it won't be supported after September. My trust lies within her.

Rayne Bloodstone Sorry but the instant I got Vista, I hated it. It constantly reminded me of stupid s**t, it moved my files around, even BEFORE I got internet, so I didn't have a virus. It changed the sound on my system multiple times to the point I actually knew how to change it back, without having to call Tech support. o3o It's faster on my computer, even though I have a slow processor... So yeah, I like it.. because it hasn't done any of that s**t. Even though they DID make the Photo Gallery a bit.. stupid. xD ---------------------------------- I'm guessing the reminder one is the UAC. It actually largely clears up after you get the computer used to you - or you can flat out disable it :3 As for moving files around.. Mine's never done that o.o;; Hasn't messed with the sound either - biggest problem I've had with the sound is the dumbass technicians installed an HD sound port on the motherboard then forgot to disable it in Vista so I could use the SD sound port.

It would reorganize my pictures instead of leaving the newest picture at the top... That never got fixed. When it changed the sound, it said the drive had been disabled or something.. The stupid tech support told me I was the one who did it.. xD I didn't! I guess it depends on the person, honestly. Kinda how people hate PC/Mac, ya know? It works for one person, but not the other. Either way, Vista was a guinea pig program, period. No one liked it xD ----------------------------------

All you had to do is tell it to sort by newest >.>;; I prefer Vista to Windows 7 any day. It's probably my favourite OS actually, with KDE Fedora coming in second.

Mickey2146 Valheita Vista will be supported until 2012. I need something that will last longer than until 2012. Get Linux if you're worried about support. The mainstream builds never stop being supported :3 Support just means they won't be making further patches for it.
