*Mercy hissed as he left then turned her attention to Lav laying her hand on her side and watching her with worried eyes.* "Darling . . . . " *She whispered then bit back the words as Jinx healed her. She knew it wasn't needed but smiled a thank you before turning her attnetion again to Lav not wanting to move her.*

lance moved up quickly to jinx "is there anything i can do to help Lady" he was quite shook up "im surprised im not dead yet i thought for sure he wouldd kill me once my mouth got ahead of me"

Jinx sighed and waved his hand quickly medical supplys showed up next to him. He started to wrap Lady's wrist as it started to slowly bleed again, he gave Mercy's a weak smile "Sorry Lance, but no. There is really nothing any of us can do right now. Ivan's fangs contain a poison, it burns the skin around the wound open and keeps it from healing, it can also kill a vampire if he keeps his fangs in them long enough." He sighed shaking his head "He pushed too hard this time, he could have killed her." He picked Lav up and walked over to the sofa laying her down "Ivan is different, he will never go for a kill right away. He likes to catch his prey on the run." He turns and looked at Lance "I would be wish and keep your mouth shut next time he shows up. He will not hesitate next time to take your life, and it will not be painless. The scream from her is not because of being bit, or even the poison, there is something about Ivan's bite that is like having your insides slowly pulled from you and burned at the same time."
She whimpered and shifted in her sleep, her face contorting in pain again. She still shook like a dying human though.
He looked back at Lady "He really pushed it this time, she should not be shaking like that." He kneels down and touches her forehead "Her temp is high, he is getting angry at her defiance of him."

*Mercy got up and followed as they walked. She sat on the floor laying her head on her folded arms and watched her still apprehensivly. Her demeanor was completely that of protection as she let out a light bit of her pure blood aura. Anger flamed through her making her eyes gleam a deep onyx.*

Cali watched everyone and sighed at Lance "We are not as shook up as you are. This was a small visit from Grandfather, normally he will not leave till she is beaten and bloody. Today she got off easy." She sighed and looked at her Mother's shaking body.
She whimper and tried to move in her sleep. She shivered and curled up around her arm. She seemed to be dreaming but it was hard to tell.
Jinx sighed to himself and watched her, helpless to be able to help her. He looked at Mercy "Getting angry will not help her."

Voro was angry with lance. "Next time you better stay quiet and make like you are a part of the room and nothing else."

im sorry voro..... i know i should have but....somethings i just cant stand by no matter how bad it gets. get mad at me all you want but the past is the past all we can do is see what happens next

voro ill do my best but what i will say is this. this is not the first time my mouth has almost gotten me killed.

Cali actually let out a soft growl, it was very animal like rather than vampire, it was rare for her to even get the slightest bit upset let alone growl "Lance it will not be you that your mouth gets killed. Grandfather would have fun toying with you more than killing you, he would break you and use you then kill you. Your mouth will get Mother hurt worse. The reason none of us say anything to him is because the more we protest him the worse he is on her, if only she goes against him her pain will be less. He would not have broken her wrist if you had kept your mouth shut" She looked at the ground as she spoke
Jinx sighed "He did not know Cali..." He glanced at Voro and back at Lady "She will be out for a few. Unless she wakes up from dreams..." He winced a little when the room tempurature suddenly jumped up and Lady began to fidget in her sleep more. He kneeled down and touched her shoulder "Lav..."
She gasped and her eyes shot open, the room cooling back to normal, she looked over at Jinx "Jinx..." Her eyes were only grey now, her skin a little tanner, her power completely hidden. She clung onto Jinx her hands gripping at his shirt almost like a lost child "Do not let me go back. Do not let him take me." She kept mumbling against him there was things about kill me if I go back, and her repeatedly saying not to let him take her.
Jinx sighed completley used to this, he wrapped his arms tight around her and held her against him "Shh, I will not let you go back to him, and I already made my promise on what I would do if he got you back."

"oh...." now lance felt incredibly stupid realizing what he had done "well then i think ill go for awhile i seems i only make things worse"he then walked out of the room

Jinx sighed "You did not know Lance. Ivan is not like other vampires, he will take his anger at others out on her he always has. The only reason we know is because the children and me have been around him for a long time and the rest have met him before."
She whimpered a little curling up more holding her arm to herself

Chacho was terrified and Wolf desperately tried to calm her. He's gone, its alright, nothing more to be worried about. She clung to him. All she could think about was this bad man that hurt the Mistress of the clan. He was cold and heartless to her. Wolf pet her hair slowly and she whimpered. Its ok. He wont bother you alright? He felt Chacho nod into his shirt and quiet down. He looked to Mercy, then to Death, Voro, Lance leaving, then Jinx. Does this happen often? He was worried, and still unnerved by Deaths father. More importantly, is there anything I can do to help? Or should I leave this thing to you people. He knew he wouldnt be much use, he could be able to fetch blood or something simple like that.
