"Never can go wrong with fruit." Ryou agreed. He looked up to the sky. "Did you hear that Seto is now the pharaoh? That's just the best thing that could've happened to us, huh?"

Atem managed to spit out the sand before stomping off to locate Bakura. He found the thief leaning against a house, his eyes closed. “Alright, you b*****d, let me get one thing straight with you; if you ever do something like that again, I swear I’ll—" He paused, looking at Bakura, who had broken out into a sweat and was breathing heavily. “…Bakura? You okay?” Bakura opened his eyes, their pupils as small as pinpricks, and tried to focus on the pharaoh. However, perhaps the bright colors of Atem’s hair only did worse for him, because he suddenly stiffened, shaking uncontrollably. He heard Atem shout something as he fell to the ground, continuing his convulsions. He blacked out soon after, vaguely aware that he was choking. Atem tried to catch Bakura as the man suddenly began to convulse, but his movements were too jerky and shaky for Atem to keep a hold of him. Bakura fell to the ground, twitching, and Atem jumped backwards, too startled by the sudden seizure to recognize what was going on or try to roll him on his side. Bakura started to make a choking sound, and Atem wondered if he was choking. Could they swallow their own tongues? The modern Atem muttered something about that being impossible, right? The pharaoh didn’t know, and only watched until Bakura stopped moving. He stood for a moment, and then realized; Bakura had stopped moving. He wasn’t even breathing.

Ryou tried to look cheerful. "As long as staying inside keeps us safe, I don't mind. Your safety always comes first." He held Kira's hand before bringing it to his lips, kissing it. "A good thing about Seto being pharaoh means you don't have to marry Atem, right?"

Kira smiled as ryou gentlykissed her hand "yes thats good.Im all your now." she said happly.

Ryou nodded before glancing towards the door. "Well, we better go in and make sure Rei's okay."

Rei was sitting in the same spot eating another piece of fruit. She rarly moved.

Ryou sighed, knowing that he should probably be trying to get her moving. To keep her muscles active or something. After so long of just sitting in the same place, it would be hard for her to get used to walking and riding and whatnot again.

Ryou sat down on the ground next to Kira, resting his head against her shoulder, one hand absently curling around his chest where the Millennium Ring usually rested.

Ryou shivered, bringing his knees up to his chest.
--- Not breathing, not breathing, of ********, what was he supposed to do? The pharaoh panicked, and while it might have seemed longer for him, only a few moments passed as his future self spoke to him.
«Why would you want to do anything?» The spirit asked. «I don’t mean to sound evil, but just let him die. He has done nothing but cause both you and I grief! At least now it won’t be your fault if he dies. This is good!»
«What? I can’t do that!» The pharaoh exclaimed, kneeling on the ground next to Bakura. Placing his fingers lightly near his mouth and nose, it was confirmed that the thief wasn’t breathing. «Quick! You need to tell me what to do!» The other him was from the future, right? He had to know something that could be done!
«I still don’t see why…» The yami grumbled, and then sighed. «Fine, whatever.» He then proceeded to instruct the pharaoh on how to do CPR. Soon he had both hands on Bakura’s chest, thrusting down with all his weight. «Okay, now try some mouth-to-mouth.» Atem said, grinning a little mentally, knowing how upset Bakura would be if he woke up to find that.
The pharaoh was a little confused as to what that meant, so the modern spirit had to describe it to his past self. The pharaoh did as Atem described, enjoying it a little, and eventually Bakura started coughing, gasping as he became conscious again. At the other Atem’s instructions, the pharaoh grabbed Bakura’s shoulders and rolled him onto his side in case he suddenly had a seizure again. Bakura growled slightly, swatting Atem away. “L-leave off, ph-pharaoh…” He slurred, squinting up in an attempt to glare at the pharaoh. His vision weaved in and out of focus and he groaned slightly, his head thumping backwards against the sand. Even as he was slipping out of consciousness again, he felt hands cup his face, and he tried to push Atem away once more. Atem watched as Bakura wriggled around a little bit longer, then relaxed abruptly, his eyes closing and his head rolling to the side. Atem shook Bakura, to make sure he was unconscious, and sighed when he found that the thief was. He patted Bakura’s cheek lightly, and then traced the scar on one side softly, watching in amusement as Bakura twitched at the tickling touch.
«What on earth are you doing?!» Came a voice from the pharaoh’s head. Atem didn’t like the emotions coming from his past self. He knew that the pharaoh had had some feelings of lust towards Bakura before, but hadn’t that been taken care of by now? He should be over it!
«Hmm… You can almost believe he’s an actual human when he sleeps…» The pharaoh said softly, admiring Bakura’s pretty hair, then quickly changed the subject. «If he starts having another fit, what should I do?»
Atem paused as he tried to remember the kinds of things Yugi had learned in school and whatnot, but also wondering if he should let his past self get away with avoiding the subject. «Well… you should roll him on one side, so he doesn’t choke again or anything. Make sure you don’t put anything in his mouth or try to pin him down. Oh, and put something soft under his head.»
The pharaoh moved around, so that he was now the one leaning up against the way, still sitting down. Gently he put Bakura’s head in his lap, in case of another seizure. He could feel the other him panicking, wanting to know what the hell he was doing. «I… I can’t help it.» The pharaoh admitted in a faint voice, hesitating a long moment, brushing some sand from Bakura’s face. «I… l-love him…»

"Bakura'd go to hell, wouldn't you think?" Ryou asked drowsily, forgetting for a moment about Rei. "If he did turn out to be dead. There's no way any kind of heaven that would allow him to enter."
--- This practically made Atem explode, in rage or surprise. «WHAT?!?!! You can’t be serious! This… this is DISGUSTING!» He ranted about how disgusting the pharaoh was, how he couldn’t believe it, how wrong it was, whatnot. «And besides, he doesn’t love you back, doesn’t even LIKE you, and NEVER WILL! He’s engaged to be a married to a woman, has a baby on the way, hates your guts. Oh, and there’s also that little thing where you’ve raped him, poisoned him, lied to him so often I couldn’t keep track anymore, nearly killed both him and Rei on many occasions, your family is the cause of his entire village’s slaughter…Need I go on?»
The pharaoh sighed, just looking down at the unconscious Bakura. «I know that. I know he’s never going to feel anything like that towards me, but… Hell, I can’t choose who I lo…» He seemed to have trouble saying ‘love.’ He had to cough, looking off to the side. «But this also means… that since he won’t ever lo… feel the same way back, it shouldn’t matter what I do, right? He’ll hate me either way. No matter if it’s rape or if he’s as willing as I am. All I’d have to do is get both him and Rei to the palace, threaten her again, and—»
«What are you talking about?! I don’t want to hear your pervy thoughts on Bakura!» Atem spoke the name with disgust, even more than before, now knowing what his past self thought of Bakura’s past self. «And if you don’t care about hurting him or not like that, it isn’t LOVE! It’s only LUST! And there’s no way in hell I’m going to let that happen, you hear me?!» He was utterly furious with his past self for this. But, no matter how he wished things were different, he could tell through their link that the pharaoh, indeed, loved Bakura. It wasn’t only lust.
The pharaoh chose to ignore the annoying voice, and tilted Bakura’s face up at an awkward angle, kissing Bakura’s slightly parted lips gently. It was just an innocent peck, no matter how much Atem would have liked to take it farther. He had to restrain himself to keep it a simple kiss. The other him grumbled about how disgusting this was and retreated into his soul room. Atem was about to pull away when he felt a small motion from Bakura. What the…? Bakura was actually responding! He was unconsciously kissing him back! Little shivers of joy and arousal ran through Atem as he enjoyed this, but quickly pulled away. He blinked, breathing a little heavily, looking at Bakura, who was still unconscious.
