My dad was the one who got ME into Anime, when I was old enough to run... (I skipped the whole "walking" thing)
And there's this girl (Yes, the same one my dad wants me to get with)... I like her, and I've heard she likes me, she kind of acts like she does when we're alone, and in front of most of our friends, except her best friend (To be honest, she might like me too, she stares at me when she thinks I'm not paying attention, and I overheard them joking around about dating me, and they both just giggled when I asked what they were talking about...)
But! 'sides that fact, what should I do to get her to notice me more? I tried group dating, and that didn't work... It also probably helps for me to mention I've been to her house while her dad was out... Nothing happened, but she DID drop a hint or two...

Well lets see there is so many ways to hint back. The first one that came to my mind is you could comment that she looks nice and give her a wink.
Now are you the type to ask out or liked to be asked out?

I prefer to be asked, but I can ask (While looking like a total idiot...) Coincidentally, she prefers to be asked, but nearly never asks unless there's no other way of knowing.

You could mention before that flirt move, make it a few days before, that you like girl who is bold enough to ask you out while she's near by and within earshot.
Shy and old fashion girls prefer guys ask them out. However if a guy says something like that she would give asking out a chance.

Hey Jitter. I notice this about guys. Do guys prefer to ask out or be asked out. Because all the guys I grew up with seemed to be like that.

Depends, really. On the one hand, I know that many guys are oblivious (Like me) to the fact that girls like them, and need some sort of visual cue or spoken word. Heck, sometimes we can be pleasantly surprised that we're being asked out!
On the OTHER hand, some guys can be old-fashioned, and believe that it's their job to ask out the girl, and feel weird if they get asked out.
More often than not however, it's the first one. Also, keep in mind (This goes for you too Cherry!) your dad was right, all men are filthy dogs that only want to get into your pants! mrgreen

It sounds like you're one. Well the same can be said about girls to a point I guess. Sometimes you have to just wait till they are ready. After dating for some time adult women would say that it's worth it he gets a treat. Then if they are virgins they have to warm up to the idea.
At least that the girl professional type women. The woman who go to college for years and gets a high profile/high paying job.
There will always be those girls you just want some.
