Month 3- Land of Snakes (City of Ruhabatra) “The City of Dreams”
The traveling party soon came up to the city of Ruhabatra, the city where dreams were made.”Feast your eyes my friends!” Raubahn said in a rather louder voice than was necessary.”The city of dreams, Ruhabatra” Raubahn stated making hand motions to address the scenery. The city was made of all pearly white seeming stone and every building had a seemingly gold plated roof. “This is where we will start our investigation.” Raubahn stated turning his head to look over his shoulder. “What? You forgot our mission?” Raubahn questioned the other three, receiving a nod from the other three.”We were supposed to look for the source of this cities power and study it so its effects could be recreated in the shinobi lands.” Raubahn stated his hand firmly plastered to his face. “What we are looking for is the Astral Condescends” Raubahn stated pointing to a glowing light house like building in the farthest point of the town.”We will wait for the cover of darkness and then we will climb the tower and research the candescends that exists inside” Raubahn stated staring at the far off tower. The traveling party began to move towards the tower ignoring the beautiful architecture that they passed by. As they approached the rather tall ivory tower the buildings near it became grander and seemed to shimmer with joy.”This, is the astral candescends’ power over the environment”, Raubahn began, “It enriches the air with purity and joy and any that are within the astral shimmer of the candescends are instantly calmed.” Raubahn finished as they reached the tower.”Hrm…” Raubahn stated as he noticed the heavily armored guard standing next to some oddly placed piles of metal. As the party got closer the metal seemed to pull itself together into the form of a knight like soldier drawing the attention of the soldiers around it.”HALT!” one of the soldiers shouted, the large metal mass beside them preparing for a battle.”What business do you have near this building?” The guard questioned.”We wish to view the tower; we are but simple tourists to this fair city.” Raubahn stated motioning his hands to note the luxurious landscape.”None are permitted to enter these grounds by order of the empyreal court.” The soldier stated as the large metal mass beside the soldier still seemed to glare towards the newcomers.”Understood...we shall be on our way then.” Raubahn stated cautiously backing away from the tower perimeter urging his other comrades to do the same. As the newcomers inched away the large metal mass seemed to become less wary of them and fell to the pile of scrap metals it once was before.”Automatons and Jishuteki guards.” Raubahn stated cursing under his breath. “We must be very careful how we approach the tower now, any wrong movement could attract the attention of those metal behemoths and we wouldn’t last long against one of them not to mention the five or so they have standing guard.” Raubahn stated as they entered a nearby inn.”We will rent rooms here and when it becomes dark enough only then will we attempt to enter the tower.” Raubahn stated as he ordered a room and they ascended the stairway to an ordinary looking room fully equipped to make a travelers stay comfortable. “Now all we need now is to wait for the sun to set and the guard to shift.” Raubahn stated preparing to sleep “might want rest, it’s going to be a long night.” He stated rolling over to sleep. The hours passed by and the sun set below the horizon yet the city seemed to be aglow with a pearlescent light.”Gather your things” Raubahn stated stretching then facing his companions “Our mission begins now” He finished looking towards the youngest of the three “You should stay here….this could be dangerous for such a young one.” Raubahn stated glaring down any attempt at a rebuttal from the youngest Anzan. Raubahn and the two eldest of the traveling trio vanished in a blink from the room only to swiftly fade into existence in the trees nearest to the border of the guards’ perimeter. “Don’t alert the guards, avoid any confrontations.” Raubahn stated as he noticed the Kenkomishi running towards the highest concentration of gaurds”Fool, they will kill him before he can buy us enough time to climb the tower.” Raubahn stated nodding to the remaining traveling companion “Quickly, we don’t have time” Raubahn stated quickly jumping from the tree branch and quickly ascending up the tower wall. The sound of water crashing against hard stone and the sound of spine chilling screams coming from below the tower caught Raubahns attention.”Seems your friend is stronger than he looks.” Raubahn stated chuckling as he climbed over the edge into one of the towers windows. “Alas, our goal” Raubahn stated as he squinted into the rooms center, the blinding light of the candescends covered the room and effectively blurred anything from being seen unless it was right next to the viewer. As Raubahn walked forward A Small Stone could be seen levitating over the ground at eye level. “This is it?” Raubahn questioned beginning a chuckle that would soon erupt into an almost psychotic laughter. “This is the source of all happiness and glory in this realm? The thing that so many of our clan have died to protect?” Raubahn couldn’t even speak his laughter took up all available air in the man’s lungs. Nearby the levitating stone was a tablet which also floated harmlessly in the air. Raubahn composed himself and walked over to the levitating tablet and read it aloud. “Be it of metal or pure will, the candescends improves the overall quality of anything it touches.” He paused skipping lines in an attempt to scan for value able information.”The Candescends however, is not from one source, but from the collective energies of all that live under it.” Raubahn paused again his eyes scanning the tablet.” And if only one where to ask its favor one could simply create a candescends of their own and bring peace to their land.” Raubahn stated staring towards the levitating stone as it glimmered intensely.”I wonder”, Raubahn began taking out a miscellaneous object from his pocket raising the object up towards the stone “If this will work”. He finished as the stone burned with an intense light engulfing the entire room then dimming to its normal glow.”Amazing” Raubahn exasperatedly stated as he stared down at the object. “It transformed this mundane stone into...pure crystal” Raubahn stated his eyes shaking as they looked upon the new glistening object.”Our mission is completed” Raubahn stated walking away from the stone but, as he stepped from the stone the light began to dim until the room was completely darkened. “What the…” Raubahn began as a feeling of overbearing darkness washed over him. “We should leave” Raubahn stated turning to leave only to be blocked by a lumbering creature.”Ah…so that’s what was hiding here” Raubahn stated as he viewed the beast “Amphiptere” Raubahn stated as the beast gave out a cackle like roar And lunged for the man only to meet air.”So…you’re the guardian of the candescends” Raubahn laughed as he drew his Kilij “The dimming light must be a security measure” Raubahn guessed as he barely parried the beak of the giant lumbering beast.” Oh well, this should be worth the wait” Raubahn stated touching the crystal he had just created to his Kilij and made a hand sign. The blinding light that emerged forced the beast to shy from its impending attack “Now, feel the ultimate technique of our clan!” Raubahn shouted glowing with the same pearlescent light as the crystal emitted “Azure…BOREALIS!”He shouted as a violent veil of flame rushed from the Anzan engulfing the giant beast in a blinding whitish blue aura like flame.”Now, become…ASHES!” Raubahn yelled as the beast unleashed its final cackle like cry and was incinerated into nothing.”Let’s go” Raubahn stated turning to descend the tower walls.

The whole reason I don't like Light is because he cheaps a victory from L. The only thing that would've made the series even more awesome is at the end when Light thinks he's won but the pages ended up being switched twice, is if he'd planned ahead for that as well and switched them AGAIN, and was laughing his head off until suddenly L appeared, (mysterious alive) sipping a cup of a tea (with liberal amounts of sugar of course) and after declaring how he'd cleverly alluded Light's traps and tricked him this whole time just to lead him on had switched the pages out for a fourth and final time, then held up a finger, and said "I am justice. Bang." And Light just fell over...of a natural heart attack. cool Now THAT, would have been an awesome ending...

In fact, I'm going to assume that WAS the original ending, but the creator didn't think it would safe to air it publicly, as the sheer amounts of awesome might cause intense hemorrhaging in most of the populations brains. Yes...let's go with that. cheese_whine

wink It's just a shame that L didn't have Jimmy Kudo/Conan Edogawa to help him solve the case, they would have had it wrapped up in a 25 minutes plus commercials (If you have ever seen the anime Case Closed.). Well, okay, I guess I'll give Light a LITTLE more credit.

ninja You are familiar with the Codes right? And how they inflict immortality when fully developed? Code Geasses ending is supposed to be a Homage to the ending of the Orignal Gundam's, or rather, Char's Counter Attack, the movie that was set at the end of the "universal century era" in which Char and Amuro's fate is unknown, and it's left up to the audience to decide whether or not they think they lived, or died.

The idea is that the reason the name of Geass is R.R. is because it is indicating Lelouche's Geass' development. C.C. R.R, R being the sound that the Japanese make when they pronounce Lelouche's name. "Rerouche."

R.R=L.L, Lelouche Lamporuge. Or something like that. sweatdrop The Pink Crane represents immortality, there's a whole bunch of other signs that people are pointing out. All in all I'd say that I'll they needed was the creator admitting the above, that it was a homage to the ending of Char's Counter attack. It is assumed that IF you decide Lelouche survived as an Immortal alongside C.C. that he's the carriage driver at the end.

Personally though, I lean towards the "This isn't over just yet" theory. If you are familiar with Nightmare of Nunnally, the Code Geass universe is actually a Multiverse, which actually acknowledges the existence of it's parallel Universes. However, if Charles and Marianne's plan was to succeed in any single Universe, it would succeed in ALL of them. Get it? In other words, Lelouch, Nunnally, Euphimia, and Suzaku, the people set in opposition of this plan in all worlds (apparently), cannot fail in any of the universes. If Charles wins just once, he takes the whole pot.

This was stated at the end of Nightmare of Nunnally, when Lelouche was bidding her goodbye. Also he noted as one who had seen into the other worlds, that there was not one without a Zero, and not one where Lelouche didn't love his little sister. That's all he would say though. Which probably means since at that point Lelouche supported Nunnally's descision, that everything will turn out alright. He noted spefically his own "death" and Euphinma's tradgedy, as well as Suzaku and himself's opposition of one another. This leads me to believe that when a final plot line is released, sort of a "Code Geass: Endgame, $&#xit; will REALLY hit the fan, but at the same time everything will turn out alright.

I think Nunnally, who gained the power to see all "parallel lines" with her Geass, also caught a glimpse of it.
