Closing her eyes as he strokes her hair, she keeps herself from totally relaxing. She didnt want to be happily sleepy, while he came out to play. Though she could quite happily sleep. "..Your going to send me.. To sleep."

He kisses her forehead an laughs a bit. "Sorry.." Instead of humming he begins to sing. "Lay beside me.. Tell me what they've done."

Listening to him sing, she smiles. She felt safe, though she shouldnt, and despite what her mind was telling her, she was happy.

Sighing, she forces herself up and stretches. "I know.." She looked back down at him, and smiled slightly. "And your Demons will soon run."

"They'd better.. I want my mind back." He sits up then takes hold of the window ledge above him. He pulls himself up.

"I try.. But he puts my body through hell.." He shakes his head slightly as he steps up onto the window ledge. "But.. I worked out how to keep certain things from him. My healing power being one of them."

Nodding, she takes his hand and kisses it softly. "Just come back. Wounds can be healed, Demons can be vanquished, but you cant be replaced. Who else will Logan snipe at?"

He turns his head to her and sings a few more lines of the song. "Through black of day, dark of night. We share this paradise..." He blows a kiss to her then takes hold of the drain pipe. He then pulls himself up to the roof.

It chuckled, staring out over the landscape of New York City, standing atop teh Empire State Building, named for the state of New York, and laughed.
Is the landscape not beautiful, all the lights and colors? Come, dear Catrina, feel free to look around. It might as well be your last sight of this city.

"Why bother with the psyco-babble, Shadow?" Neko asked angrily, stuck in his grasp. "Why not jsut kill me and get it over with. You'll have your damn chaos then, and I hope to God you choke on it!" She tried to shake free but her broken bones prevented it. Besides, she would die if she fell, whether it dropped her or not. But she wouldn't go down without a fight.
She tried to bite its arm, hoping to sink growing fangs into its flesh.

It laughed as her fangs sank into its arm. The pain meant nothing to it. You will help me breed chaos, dear Catrina, whether fr not you die. It is only a matter of time. With that, it tossed her out over the city, waving good-bye even as it sank into the shadows it called home. Until we meet again.... And it was gone.
