At about 1 that afternoon, Amy had made an accomplishment of ginormous proportions. She had finished the soda fountain contraption!!!
She rose from her stool and puffed out her chest dramatically in triumph. "Finally! It is done!"
She had tested it just moments ago and it had worked! The soda fountain was now connected to the alcoholic contraption. She had also turned the alcoholic one into a circular contraption instead of an in-line one that took up too much counter space.
Now, someone could put a ball in the funnel for the alcoholic machine and another ball into the soda fountain one. It'd be best if you only did one at a time so that it didn't flood the spout at the bottom that poured the drink into the glass. So, if a person used both machines, they could have a completely random mixed drink!

She put a clean glass under the spout and then handed Killa two silver marbles.

Amy smiled brightly at Kits and watched as she put a marble in one of the funnels. "Hey, Kits! What's up?"
She watched the marble go down the funnel for the alcohol side. A few moments later, vodka was being poured into Kits' drink. Amy smiled brightly and looked back up at Kits.
"Vodka it is! Care to use the other marble on the other side to get a random soda in there, too?"

Amy responded to Killa's question by nodding to Kits. "Watch what she does with the 2nd one. It goes through random mazes and then randomly drops into a compartment for a specific drink and pours it into a trough at the bottom which leads to the spout above a glass. If you put the marble in the first funnel, you'll get a random alcoholic drink. If you put a marble in the 2nd funnel, you'll get a random soda drink."
