Hebal ducked down struggling to get under the doorframe with Zadina up on her shoulders "You mean you would rather spend your time with our family in the middle of a boring old forest than have a lively palace festival? You surprise me Ziggy but don't ya think you should wait a few years before giving Alusaadi a chicobo or an egg, I mean she's gonna be awefully busy soon with her new baby so won't be able to give the chicobo as much attention as it may need" she quietly pointed out hopping to the front desk. "Heya there I believe you have a key for us maam" she cheerfully greeted the gria handing their papers over but sighed seeing the grumpy receptionist just grunted at them and handed the key over.
Seph also nodded pouring herself another glass once Itaka had finished with the bottle "She's not totally clingy, I bet she can go a few days without seeing much of Boco plus there will be other chocobos around for her to talk to. Bet she's gonna have more fun that Alpha somehow too" she smirked using her wings to playfully splash Itaka.

Hayate shuddered closing the box then pushed it away to the far side of the coffee table "I think I'll just leave the contents alone. I'm not a particulaly big fan of old people things and false teeth are just disgusting things to have when not yours" he grumbled swinging back on the chair. "Kinda a disappointment, I was expecting something more interesting"
Felia slowed down allowing Jenna and Boco to catch up with them "It's not that big a mystery as to how he worked it out, he read Hayate's report on the incident which kinda mentioned it in a bit of detail but mum will be just as hormonal after the childbirth and will be even moodier due to lack of sleep if it's anything like the time when Corella was just a baby" she recalled glancing behind to make sure Cid was still there.

Barbaros shrugged "Find out what the key is for if it bothers you still" he said clambouring under the covers "Thats still pretty interesting." he said.
Oassu nodded "I guess but she'll be too happy with her baby to want to come and wring my neck hopefully" he joked laughing nervously before turning and seeing Cid hopping along behind them "Should we carry him or....let him hop along?" he asked.
Zadina nodded in agreement "Your probably right but yeah I'd love to spend time with you besides the palace isn't so fun if none of your friends or family are there with you" he said giving his papers to the receptionist before rebalancing himself "But to the room momma!" he said giggling as he used the word.
Itaka chuckled splashing Seph back "Heh why say that? I'm sure Alpha can have great fun in a city like this can't he?" he said "Where most of the population are women there's gotta be something to satisfy that perverted old coot." he said

Seph burst out laughing giving Itaka a second splash "Yeah but thats the bad thing about it for Alpha. He's going to be spending most of his days overseeing a bunch of builders reconstruct the airship and telling them what to do so won't have time to meet any of the locals" she pointed out rolling onto her side.
Alpha yawned dragging himself out of the bath room then went over and perched himself on the opposite side of the bed from Barbaros "So what was in the box you guys, anything good. Also did I miss anything else that could have been important?" he asked them placing one or two things on the bedside table.
Hebal tittered rubbing her ear in surprise that Ivy had gone unnoticed "But you have all your cousins and your aunt and uncle back home. It's your decision I guess and you would be welcome in my forest if you did stay but you would have to help Amane cover the trees with paper lanterns in preparation for the celebrations so it wouldn't be all fun and games" she warned him wandering through the lobby.

Felina stopped bending down to pick Cid up once he had finally caught up with her "I think I should carry him for a while or else he'll be shattered by the time we even reach out place but mum wouldn't wring your neck. she's not quite that mean plus hates getting her hands dirty. It's Elithana I would worry about but she's hardly going to get the opportunity" she added not wanting to make Oassu too nervous.
Hayate shrugged glancing brielfy at the box again "It was just a pair of false teeth and a key which we have no idea of it's use. We also decided since theres arm chairs we would kind of rotate between who got the bed each night. Barbaros getting it first and us taking the chairs" he explained getting up to fetch himself a blanket from the cupboard.

Oassu smiled "I guess so, but we want him to go to sleep easily still might think we don't love him if we don't cuddle him much" he said kissing the bunny on the head "But remind me to watch out for your big sis then" he said.
Barbaros nodded "Yeahup you two can fight over who gets it tomorrow and check the box Alpha maybe you can use those teeth" he laughed "Or at least the key maybe." he shrugged.
Itaka grinned "Hey he's the one who wanted to renovate, I got to share a room with you and you alone I was happy with it, though a jacuzzi on the airship would be alright" he said sliding round so he sat beside Seph and put a hand around her waist "It'd allow for more nights like tonight yeah?" he smiled kissing her horns.
Zadina nodded "I guess but I didn't see them much before and I'd love to help Amane, my aunt and uncle aren't like foster parents for me you know so I'd be perfectly fine with Amane and her friends" he said smiling as he felt taller than bangaa they passed on the stairs.

Hebal smiled at the bangaa swinging around the banister onto the next flight of stairs "Aww you really don't have that many friends back at home do ya? You at least are super popular at my place now. But just make sure you ask Felina's permission for you to come or else I will get into big trouble and she might be mad at me for taking you away for a bit" she told him lazily jumping up all the steps at once.
Seph nodded sipping her wine "It was all well and good for us but it is true we were slowly running out of space. Could you imagine how cramped it must be having Alpha, Hayate and Barbaros sharing a room plus it can hardly be fun for Oassu and Felina having to share a room with Jenna and Zadina you know, limits their privacy" she pointed out putting her own arm around him "Luckily for you Satoshi wanted to swap rooms, otherwise I would have been in with Gil and you would have been in with her"
Alpha grunted discusted by the idea of using someone elses false teeth "The key is an interesting thing but as for the teeth, I don't think so since my dental health is great" he answered showing the group his razor sharp fangs "See perfectly normal and I bet they are too small for humans or gria or something of a simialr size" he shrugged choosing instead to make his bed on the floor.

Felina grinned pleasently surprised by Oassu's actions "Hehe I'm glad you and litle Ciddy-wid have bonded so well. We don't want him to be too exhausted, a little tired will be enough" she told him watching her rabit lick Oassu's chin. "My big sis wouldn't be able to do a thing to you if I can help it, plus you only really have to make an awesome impression on my unborn brother now since he will get the throne after dad"
Hayate let out a low whistle seeing just how many teeth Alpha atually had "Man it would suck to be bitten by you but they are in ok condition I guess despite having some of your fangs chipped" he noticed wrapping himself up in the blanket to keep warm "Are the chairs no good for you to sleep in?" he asked curious as to why Alpha was settling on the floor.

Oassu smiled as Cid licked his chin "I guess so, problem is there will be loads of other people to give him a bad impression about me before I get the chance" he said "Still I'll play with him a bit, I can be his cool uncle" he chuckled.
Barbaros yawned "Put em away Alpha, your proud of them I know, but your not exactly going about like those old senile demons who act like fiends just chomping on whatever they like in the wild you take care of your teeth." he said.
Zadina shrugged "It's not like I have a home there anyway, sure I could probably ask my uncle for my father's land and castle but I'm not particularly interested in spending my time alone at home. I barely am home so it's kinda obvious I don't have many friends there but playing with Amane Melanae and Ardie was great fun, I'd like to spend the dragons festival there." he said.
Itaka nodded "I guess..." he sighed stroking her wing "But I think Zadina wanted in to ensure Felina and Oassu didn't do anything. Jenna too probably" he chuckled "Still guess it's fair on the guys, wouldn't wanna be all cooped up though normally Alpha is flying the ship while the others sleep anyway" he said.

Hebal beamed up at Zadina for a brief moment taking her attention away from finding their room on the landing "Aww you really feel lonely at home don't you? Hehe your welcome at my house then and I'll help out too if we go. Would you like me to have a quiet word with Felina and ask if you can go with me?" she offered only just realising she was trying to open the wrong door "oopsie not that door, this is what it's like when I go to my mummy's house"
Seph flapped her wing cheerfully causing her to accidentally splash water into Itaka's face "Sorry about that. Alpha has to sleep eventually or else he would be too tired to do anything during the day and as cute as it is of Zadina I am sure he is able to trust Oassu by now. There will be some good changes for us too such as better furniture in the main rooms and a better stable for Chobi and Boco if they have the time... I took the time to mention it to alpha" she smiled sinking slightly.
Alpha nodded spreading himself across the middle of the floor "Yeah I like to brush my teeth unlike them despite the fact it takes forever to get little bits of food out from between them. I don't particulaly like sleeping while sat upright in a chair so the floor is going to be comfier for me" he exlained resting his head on the rug using it as a pillow.

Felina snickered rubbing Cid's ears "Ok ok you can be the cool trendy uncle so long as your not doing anything too silly like dancing on the tables at every party. If my brother will have any sense he will know to make his own mind up about you since everyone is always trying to make those in power like or dislike certain people to increase their inflience" she shrugged surprised as Cid twisted himself around and nuzzled her hand.
Hayate laughed staring down at the floor for a moment then sprung up and stepped over Alpha to get to the bathroom "Fair enough I guess so long as you don't take up the entire floor" he answered as he passsed. "Are there even that many demons left around these parts? I've never seen a senile demon chomping around like that ever" he added removing his eye patch and washing his face.

Oassu smiled "I guess so, I'll behave and hopefully your bro will like me but if everyones whispering in his ear I may need to try a little harder....you can always put in a good word for me" he said.
Barbaros yawned "Just be careful where you step tomorrow morning Hayate I imagine Alpha won't appreciate it much if you squish his face I think I'll swing by the restaurant tomorrow morning for breakfast it's been ages since I've enjoyed a hotel breakfast" he grinned thinking about the last time fondly.
Zadina smiled "Sure that could be fun but you have trouble finding your way around your mothers house?" he asked curious "I wonder if our room is nice and perfumy with little mints on the pillows" he said playing patty cake with Ivy who darted between his hands to pat them.
Itaka smiled stroking Seph "I guess so but I was fine with the furniture but Chobi will appreciate the stable, I don't think the airship was really designed with chocobo's in mind plus that furniture is really old being designed by dwarves and stuff so the upgrades should be good" he said sinking a little with Seph as he relaxed.

Hebal nodded her head blushing slightly "Yeah I get lost all the time in it. Theres just so many rooms I can never work out which one has what in but I at least know which room belongs to Amane because of the big letter A in the front of the door" she smiled finally finding the room "I hope the room smells of lavander or roses but we will find out... now" she chirped swinging the door open to reveal an old fashioned but cosey room consisting of a bathroom, a big bed and a small fireplace in the corner.
Seph shut her eyes briefly almost tempted to try and drift off to sleep where they were because of the hot water "Mmmhmm just think of the airship as being modernised and more people size friendly. I wouldn't be surprised if Chobi disliked the stable we set up for her since the metal floor is hardly comfortable"
Alpha also yawned rolling onto his back "Yeah try not to step on my if you can but I can sleep through almost anything when I want to meaning you would have to stamp quite hard on me to get me up" he mumbled staring up at the ceiling. "For breakfast... I would love nothing more than a good strip of raw meat from the butchers but I guess bacon is good enough"

Felina smiled back and winked at Oassu while she rubbed Cid's forehead with the back of her hand "Of course I would put in a good word for you to him, along with many other people too. I even think that with time I will be able to swing mum around to your side. But isn't that one your place Jenna?" she asked pointing to one of the hotels they were approaching.
Hayate nodded slightly drying his face with the nearest towel "Don't worry I will be carefull not to step on you unless you start making really bad snoring noises that could wake all the rooms up. What was it that you liked so much about the resturant breakfast you last had? I usually just settle for a baguette if I have to eat in that sort of place" he asked stepping back over the demon

Jenna nodded "Yeah thats my place, see you tommorow guys" she yawned waving them off as the left for the hotel.
Oassu nodded waving Jenna away "Sure if you think you can, but she's one of the folk I'm more worried about persuading your little bro to hate me but thanks for the support, means a lot to me" he said kissing Felina.
Barbaros sat up in bed "You kidding Hayate? Places like this have big breakfast buffet's you can eat as much as you want and there's a massive variety of foods for you too, it's a great thing" he chuckled.
Zadina nodded "Don't feel bad" he said hugging Hebal's head "Still this place seems nice doesn't it? You sure you won't get cold sleeping at the bottom of the bed Miss Hebal?" he asked looking at the fireplace and lighting it with a fire spell.
Itaka nodded "Yeah but we did alright hiding there earlier, I'm sure she'll like it now" he chuckled seeing Seph drift off "But come on lets get you to bed you seem tired" he said rubbing her tummy gently.
