Can anyone confirm what I've heard tonight, that Sunrise is creating another Inuyasha series to follow the rest of the manga?

Mizoko Uncle Kenny Can anyone confirm what I've heard tonight, that Sunrise is creating another Inuyasha series to follow the rest of the manga? I hope not. Here's where I found it: Aile Anna 1) no, it does not get cancelled - SERIES ONE ends. 2) It is not over, in last week's issue of Shounen Jump it was announced that in July Sunrise Productions who makes the Inuyasha anime in Japan, will announce the name and release of the SECOND Inuyasha series that will continue til the end of the manga. 3) Series One ends at 167 eps. It ended here because it was too close to the manga chapter releases. How they create an anime that follows the manga if they are ahead of the manga? One of the reasons the anime had so many fillers is because each anime esp. is 3-4 manga chapters long, and at the release rate often times was close to where the manga was. By creating filler, Sunrise allowed the manga to get ahead so they could continue with the series. But too many fillers were annoying the fans and ratings were beginning to drop - but NOT enough to cancel the series. The 2nd series that will be released soon will have far less if any fillers. I'm tempted to go out and get the Shonen Jump now to see if this is true.
