Billy frowned and let out an exasperated sigh.
"Alright, lay down and shed the shirt."
He stepped aside from the bed and waited, and had to be truthful to Teddy.
"Teddy, is something going on that I should know about? You keep telling me there's something you want to talk to me about but every time I try to bring it up, you blow it off."

"It's not anything bad." Teddy said as he shed his jacket and tossed it on the bed, then peeled off his shirt. He lay down on the floor, propping his head up on one of the squishier bags from their shopping trip. "Make sure my back cracks."

"I'll try but I weigh like 140 on my best day."
He removed his shoes and socks and climbed up on Teddy's back and started wiggling his feet and toes around.
"Last time it took me and Wallace both to get your back to crack..and what's up with your back anyway? Is it some muscle thing or is this just your way of getting me close?"
He smiled as his toes kneeded at the muscles in Teddy's back.

"I always want you close, but this isn't really...that..." He paused, shifting a little beneath Billy. "Walk along my spine, one foot on either side working outwards." He inhaled deeply, then let the air out. "...that close. I lift weights and work out, so this helps crack and stretch out my back."

Billy does as instructed, wondering aloud.
"Ah so. I would have thought a metamorph would be able to fix those little kinks all by his lonesome. You learn something new every day."
He moves up Teddy's back, works his toes in, then turns around and starts back down.
"So are you ready for mid-terms or trimester exams or whatever this school calls them?"

"I like it better when someone else does it. It makes me feel special." Teddy murmured, closing his eyes as his scalp began to tingle. Something about special attention made his scalp become alive. "...I guess as ready as I'll ever be."

Billy laughed.
"Same. I am a little worried about my exam with Mister Hellstrom. He's a great teacher but he's strict as hell, pun intended, when it comes to his exams. Not only do I have to be able to cast whatever spells he puts on my shoulders but he's grading my grimoire too."

"What the heck is a grimmer?" Teddy was fairly glad that he didn't even have a grimmer to be graded in the first place.

"Grimoire." Billy emphasized. "You know that cool book on 'Charmed' that had all the spells and potions and stuff? Just like that."
He paused mid-back and dug his toes into Teddy's spine.
"A grimoire is basically a witch's diary of spells and potions and any other little bibbity bobbity boo stuff that they think is important in their journey of the magic arts."
He paused and glanced down.
"I worked really hard on mine so far, I'm nervous about someone like Mister Hellstrom inspecting it. That make sense?"

What the heck was Charmed?
By the sound of it, Billy's grimwhar sounded kind of like a diary or something. He wondered if maybe he should sneak into Billy's and read it. Did he ever mention himself in it? Hmmmm. And if he had, would that have been a good thing? "Can you bounce in between my shoulder blades? Really lightly please."

Billy stood at Teddy's shoulder blades and started to lightly hop up and down, mimicking the 'Twist' while doing so.
"See? No problemo..."
WHOMP!
"Um...ow."

"OW!" Teddy pushed up off the floor, shoving Billy off of his head. "You're such a clutz!" Teddy headed over to the mirror, checking out his freshly busted lip and the trickle of blood down his chin. It began to patch itself together and heal before his eyes.

Billy froze.
Teddy never raised his voice at him before...and called him a klutz on top of it. Yes, he had his clumsy moments but, he just never thought Teddy of all people would call him that, even though it was true. Teddy always supported him. Made him feel better.
He shrugged helplessly.
"I'm...sorry."
He slowly stood up.
"I, I better go. I should...I guess I better get back home."
He turned and rushed out of the room, forgetting his packages completely.
