Paradox sighed. "I cannot touch him." He admitted regretfully, looking at the baby. His fingers, in their metal prisons, slid across the carriage, creating a small screeching sound. The metal was to protect from touch, just as all the drapery of cloth was. "Your place is safe enough until this gets sorted out." Paradox looked down at her, appraising the experienced lady of her ability to do the job. After a moment or two, he nodded his head. "Keep them safe, as long as you can. One of my men will be their in case anything goes wrong." His eyes twinkled with an inner sadness.

Matachi had been listening to the entire conversation. That last part with Katherine talking finally did it for him. He brought his right hand to his left eye wiping it gently before leaning over to kiss her gently on the forehead. Straightening up he would leave the room shutting the door gently, he left the castle walking south into the forest towards the mountains.

Paradox nodded. "so am i" Sadly, he turned to the child, who would never be safe here. "Lady Dialh. . . I don't think your safe in the castle anymore. . . You may not want to come back." The seven foot tall general swiveled to look out the window on the night. His armor shifted subtly, something it seldom did due to it's maintenence. "Danger is just over the horizen."

Much later that night a battle was fought, was still being fought the body at the castle had been a real body but never her own.. north of Insomia's camp in the forest she would appear her body was leaning its back against tree she had on only a strange black silken robe that was not meant for chilly weather, she was as far from the darkness as she would make it that night she never really felt herself hit the ground but she knew she was laying.. she never really felt the cold either.. she mumbled something about Llyr.

"don't take me again... I have to get back to them.. I have.. please i don't want darkness..." She was mumbling her body limp she made no sense.. "There in danger and.. and they think..I am not dead.. i .. Please don't take me back there.. i have so much.. there is someone that.. i never got to tell Matachi anything.." half of her was still fighting it the darkness the nothingness in her mind she was fighting to regain it.

She moved slightly when he said her name.. "He knows.. he has to know.." she went into a fit saying it over and over like she was beating it into her own head. Her form went still for a long time afterwards.. "someone is there .. am i out? am I alive.. am I still?...please.. i am lost tell me i am out" she said almost clearly she was starting to feel cold which means she was feeling.

"Someone is there." she said clearly for a moment. "I am Katherine.." Like she was telling herself. "I am.. I went to tell him. Its hard not because i don't understand the pain but because.. because i don't understand how to be like Matachi is.. I can't just say it.. I want to.. because i am not that strong and i am.. its so dark there is nothing... nothing anymore. I just want to go home.. no i want that day in the court yard back .. with the three of us.. when i find myself.. i can sometimes i can smell the air in the air that day and.. i can feel, but everything is crowded.. if i can't escape he can't know they won't know and everything will be gone the cycle will be gone and we will never knnow again and he won't know.." silence again darkness again..her form even faded for a moment.

Her hand grabbed his back, "Matachi?" Her voice spoke in a different tone one that was not so lost. Her eyes opened and she was looking up at him like he wasn't real like she had when she thought him dead and he was a illusion she had made. she started to sit up.. her other hand going to brush his cheek to know that he was real.
