She glanced up at him briefly thinking about his answer. Malik's breakers. Her thoughts continued in this pattern as she walked over and snatched his shirt from him then dug through her bag again and produced a needle and some thread. She had all kinds of things in that bag, never knew what you might need. Taking a seat, she threaded the needle easily and began to sew up the tear, with small, precise stitches. Why had Malik's breakers suddenly attacked him? They were under Malik's orders weren't they? But he hadn't touched Sevilin yet, too afraid he might go and offer his services elsewhere. But if Piper had asked, then Malik wouldn't have worried about it, he would have done anything to make Piper happy. That was the only explanation that made any sense. Her grip tightened on the shirt briefly before relaxing it and finishing her task, then she grabbed that rag and began sponging at the bloodstain on the cloth, still avoiding his gaze. She was going to beat that surface elf...

She only chuckled lightly and shook her head at him. "There may be room in the Underdark for only one of those and someone else is far ahead of me in that notion." See, she wasn't one to instantly conotate 'drow' as a horribly evil term. Kieran was quite good at his mind changing ramblings after all. A little raise on an eyebrow. "The aquaphobia I can perhaps understand, but not the claustrophobia...he lived in the underdark and its always seemed rather small to me...tight places shouldn't bother him."
A little shrug, not that she really knew about the way drow thought. Didn't pretend she knew either. "Well...if he acts up with his runics again, at least you know you have a master rune mage that is always on your side." A little nod. "Speaking of that, I put a few blocking runes in your room to ward agains this own...and also soundproofed it to among other things. Long as he doesn't go in your room he can't mess with them."
Both hands on the arrowshaft and one foot braced on the tree she pulled back, testing how embedded it was into the sickly looking tree. Though it barely moved at all her pulling on it. Damn good arrowhead there held tight. But that was also the problem she was trying to protect against. A little nod as she let go and looked at her glove then looked at the arrow. A look to Serino who was looking over her shoulder as if fascinated as well. "Well let's give it a try." Said as she clenched her hand into a fist.
A blink as his tunic was snatched from him and she took to fixing it for him...this kept getting weirder and weirder now wasn't it? Sevilin also hated being preplexed....why was she being so nice to him all of a sudden? What did something he said to her finaly sink in? "I can...take care of that myself..." Yeah he was confused.

"No!" she snapped before completely ignored him dribbling a cleaning agent on his shirt and scrubbing at it furiously. She needed the monotonous work to keep her from going after Piper. Finally the bloodstain had faded and then disappeared completely and she ran water over the shirt then left it out to dry before picking up his jacket. It took her a little more searching to find thread thick enough to hold the leather together and the black thread was too dark to be used on the jacket. Instead she pulled out a bowl and filled it with water then dumped some of the golden powder into it, stirring it lightly with her finger. When the granules dissolved she dropped the thread into the bowl allowing the dye to soak into the thread, changing its color. Meanwhile she picked up the rag that was blood soaked and began scrubbing at that with the same agent, the whole time avoiding his gaze and pretending like he wasn't even there.

Okay...apparently he wasn't allowed to tend to his own things. Okay then...he was docile right now anyway and when he was docile he tended to be a little lazy. She seemed abit agitated now didn't she? Though okay he'd admit it was a little fascinating to watch her go about her little tasks as if it wasn't anything really. Again he brushed some hair from his face and shifted his weight. "Well then...I guess...thank you." Why? OKay she was civil to him earlier might as well return the gesture...that and he didn't need her turning on him.
Nym chittered from where he was on the floor, having been there since Sevilin had been dragged into the room. Hey he was just as weirded out as well. She was all pissy or something. Scampering over to Sevilin he sat one his boot, clutched to the rough dusty leather that composed it. Chitter up at Zahara.

Malik only chuckled lightly, feeling the hatred and anger pouring from upstairs. and it wasn't sevilin he was sure.
"Drow can become claustrophobic, particularly Llothian drow. imagine being locked up all the time, nothign but your thoughts and the knowledge when you get out, it's going to be either a very miserable experience, or a very painful one. that can make you rather uneasy in enclosed spaces. or more particularly, closed spaces you can't get out of. like a wolf pinned in a corner."

"Problem with pinned wolves is that they tend to attack." Rather nice anaology on her part wasn't it? And true...push anything back into a corner far enough and long enough and they would snap, no matter how gentle it could be or how harmless it seemed. Caged creatures eventually got out. "But I suppose that makes sense easily enough...its never fun being someplace you don't want to be and knowing you can't get out of it either." A light sigh before looking back to him again. "And you Malik...have you developed a dislike of small spaces and water as well?" But of course she was going to prod.
A squeal of accomplishment more or less probably echoed across the underdark, but that was silenced quickly as she plopped her free hand over her mouth a moment. An exciting sight to see that arrow slack from its perfect horizontal position. Walking up to the tree she grasped the shaft, and pulled it out as easily as if it had merely been embedded in warm butter. Oh yes, the giddyness now. A look at the arrow head, which indeed was smaller now, but also conformed around the little vial. Nice. And then a look to her still clenched hand. Letting her hadn lax, the arrowhead expanded back to it's original made size. Another squeal muffled by her hand again. Okay, what about the other one then?

"You're welcome." Using a pair of tongs she pulled the now golden thread out of the mixture and set it on a towel to dry. Then she carefully poured the mixture down the sink, keeping it from staining and ran water to chase it even further down the drain. Drying her hands she picked up his tunic and tossed it to him then reached for the now dry thread and resumed her place on the bed with his jacket. Rethreading the needle she began repeating her earlier movements though she exchanged the needle for a bigger one since the leather was thicker and harder to poke through. A brief glance at Nym and she went right back to her task, planning what she'd do to Piper when she got a hold of her. Once the tear was closed up she scrubbed at the blood on the leather, her movements jerky but efficient.

Someone is not a happy elf at all. A blink of little red eyes before he chittered again...hm. Ah! He knew! With another chitter to make sure that he had her attention...he more or less fell off of Sevilin's boot to plop across the floor on his back, wrigging around and chittering. Look! Look it the funny ferret! She always liked this.
Sevilin caught his tunic without even thinking about it and inspected her work before slipping it on over his head and pulling it down. That felt better...never did like being overly exposed. A look down at Nym though. "Is that your solution to everything?" Back to watching Zahara bothering with his jacket.

"No. I have nothing here to fear, save losing Piper. nothing really in the mortal realm frightens me save for Cymarron's fury other than that. I spent centuries in torment in a plane devoted to pain and hatred. When you die..time stops here. what passes here in moments or minutes..can be years and centuries in the planes. my failures and deaths brought me pain from Innoruuk's realm. though not everything from there is so terrible. Ramoth is straight from teh Plane of Hate herself."

"I never said fear. Fear and aversions are different things you know." A tap of her finger on her cheek a moment along with a little chuckle, green eyes watching Malik almost intently. "Though I think I do enjoy the fact that your fears are ones that are not petty nor selfish." That little inclination gesture once more on his own explainations. After all, she'd never spoke to someone who had died before now had she? "Sometimes great things are born from unlikely sources."

"The Norrathian Pantheon is wide and diverese. there are literally worse places to be than the Plane of Hate. Like the Plane of Torment, or Blood, or Insanity."
A shrug.
"But Hate is nothing to sneeze at. as to Aversion..I only avoid High elves for the ost part. because they and I just never get along."

A slowly raised eyebrow at him. Did he ever speak of more positive things at all when they tended to have these conversations? It was a good question, but one of course she wouldn't ask because she was just that way. A little shrug. "Arch elves," she shook her head lightly, ", rather High elves tend to put everybody off...not that I can figure out why they tend to be like that, even with altered attitudes but they are."
A little tilt of her head then. "A pantheon that does indeed seem wide and diverse if each have planes unto themsleves and what not. You won't find the Andalian one quite so wide. We like to have our simple ways and what not though, don't want to complicate things."

Even Nym's antics weren't enough to calm her down though she did reach down and tickle his stomach. She set Sevilin's jacket aside to dry and stood up scooping the ferret up into her arms and nuzzling him. Little guy had crumbs in his whiskers from earlier. She shook her head and easily brushed them off then dropped the critter on the bed and plopped back beside him before walking ot her closet and pulling out her whip. She thought about saying something but then sighed and stood up heading out. Gathering the information she needed from a slave, she headed to the woods. She'd been told Piper headed south. The intelligent thing probably would be to wait for her but Zahara was far past rational thought at this moment in time. She walked the woods until she heard the sound of an excited squeal and watched from behind a sickly tree. Finally she decided she'd heard enough and she stepped out into the small clearing Piper was currently in.

Nym and Sevilin exchanged a look before Sevilin shook his head, gathered up Nym and his jacket and slipped out of Zahara's room. That was odd and he hoped never to repeat that experience ever again at all. He hated being puzzled too...actually there were a lot of things he hated now wasn't there? Thusly he standing in the upstiars halway, listening to his runes.
Kieran was out in the stables, waiting on Nerian as well as looking over horseshoes that had been brought back and talking to a little blond girl, Malik and Fianna were conversing in the living room, slaves mulling about, Piper was out riding apparently, and Zahara had left asking about her. Did people ever spend time alone in this place? They were always with something...
She was insanely delighted right now with herself. Things were going according to plan with this. And even if Malik didn't want to take the idea that was one more for her to hoard all to her little self. After all, who knew better about the agonies of an archer than an archer themselves? Exactly. Another look at the arrow in the palm of her hand. Yes the palm of her hand...it had gotten constricted to palm size. Nice quick conceal trick, especially if you were holding it in the hand with the leash, thus clenching anyway. Unclinching her hand she watched it return to normal size. Hell yes. Though a nicker from Serino caught her attention and she turned to notice Zahara. "Zahara? What are you doing out here?" Oh don't tell her that Malik had sent Zahara out after her...

Zahara looked at Piper for a few moments, glanced at the trees around them to make damn sure they were really alone. Serino wouldn't be a problem as long as he didn't get involved. She took a moment to just savor the fact that she was there and Piper was finally about to get her comeuppance. Slowly she came forward and smiled rather sadistically, the sort of smile usually seen on Sevilin's face. "Hello Piper." She walked until she was inches from the surface elf then she balled her hand into a fist and drove it straight into Piper's face, hitting her in the nose.
