"I suppose you're right..." she still wasn't convinced. It was hard accepting that she might be welcome somewhere like that when she'd been told she'd be shunned for her entire life. Not that she was supposed to want to be welcomed and therein lay the irony of the whole thing. She'd never wanted to be a part of her home yet she was welcomed with open arms, or had been at one point in time. But she wanted to see Andal and wanted the others up there to accept her presence...yet chances were they wouldn't. Honestly she'd really have to wait and see. Searching for something else to say she grinned at Kieran. "Thank you very much for all your help Kieran, I'm sure we'll be speaking with each other in the future but I think I've kept you away from Fianna long enough." The fire beneath the pot was killed and she stood up, sliding the stool back to the island where it belonged. "If you could get me some of those blossoms I'd really appreciate it...."

Nym gave one of those indignant chitters as he was picked up and then inspected as one would inspect dinner. That got a hiss from him with some struggling and biting. He was not anyone's dinner! Nor an accessory, though that was a different matter. Though another squeakish chirp as he was dropped...then the door opened and he darted in fast as lightining, leaping onto the drow who was sitting on the floor in the corner, all nips and licks, nuzzles and chitters.
Sevilin blinked, turning his attention up from staring at a spot on the floor, having barely registered that door being opened when he was jumped by the little creature he called friend, being generally showered with ferret affection. To which he only picked him up, supporting him with one arm before getting himself up and walking out of the room, stopping to turn and look at the breaker there. "Ruined my tunic and jacket...." Mumbling as he walked off and headed back upstairs. Yeah that pissed him off. Bloody and now another pair of clothes mangled to an extent.
Well she did say that she was enjoying her little solo outing thus far, Serino moving along at a trot in whatever direction he chose for the moment. Sure...she wanted to test things but a ride was also a good thing...hadn't indulged in a while. And no worries to those she didn't tell back at the fortress...bonding would tell them how she was within a radial area that they had with the condition. Business and pleasure...sometimes it was nice to mix the two.
Fianna looked away for a moment, picking up on Piper a moment as she seemed to fade a little on the 'bond radar'. But she seemed fine and easily trackable thus far so her attention was granted back to Malik. "I do fear that you would perhaps be miserable in early spring...what with all the plant life waking up, pollen in the air, seeds, flowers and what not. If you were to do a spring wedding, it may be best to aim for mid spring. Unless you plan to adapt fairly quickly."
Well...that would be her subtle hint to him for him to leave her be now wasn't it? Couldn't blame her, after all the subject of talk didn't seem the most welcome anyway. "Well my dear, time will tell now won't it. Never knwo until you're in the thick of the fray as I always say." Imagine hearing that over and over rhymed as it was. "But yes, I'll see about those blossoms for you and leave you to your work...any concerns you have about Andal you can bring to me." Another nod to her before getting up and vacating the kitchen as per unspoken request.

"Hey, wearing my own veil to a wedding wouldn't be that bad."
A slight grin.
"But your probably right, a late spring would be better if we had it in spring, as opposed to winter. though winter does have it's own enjoyments. not to mention my skintone alone just goes with the blues and whites of the winter season."

She wasn't trying to be rude but the fact of the matter was, she needed to test this potion and she didn't want to do it in front of him. The moment he'd left the kitchen she pulled the vial out and uncapped it then studied the neon green liquid for a long time. "Let's see if this works..." Tipping her head back she dumped the vial into her mouth, letting it remain there to discover taste and then swallowed. Bitter stuff but then most things with the moss didn't taste all that great. She made a few notes regarding the potion itself and then stood. The rest of it might or might not be useful later so she transferred it to a bowl and stored it in a safe place, putting the pot in the sink to be washed. Wiping her hands on her skirt, she left the kitchen and saw Sevilin coming up from downstairs. Now that was odd, why would he be down there. She ducked back behind one of the corners so he wouldn't see her and watched him go past then gasped. His back was bloody...now how the hell had that happened? In that moment she made a decision and she came forward, grabbed his hand and started pulling him. If she could just get him up to her room, she could take care of his back. If not, she could do it in the kitchen but he'd be a lot more comfortable on her bed. Her lips were pursed and she glanced back at him, giving him a look that told him not to ask, just come.

A melodic laugh from Fianna. "Now now Malik, no need to outshine the bride too much. She may hurt you." But a little nod of her head then as usual. "Winter, spring, that's up to you both but the seasons and weather wait for no one... well, for a few maybe." A few choice people came to mind that could indeed induce weather manipulation.
Kieran strolled outside casually, making his way to the stables. A raised eyebrow when he found Serino gone and he stopped in place for a moment, feeling things out. Ah, he was with Piper, no worries. But his own attention came to Nerian who was back by this point, with horse shoes in company.
Those were duly taken from him with a pat to his nose before the pear that Kieran had grabbed earlier was produced as treat for the horse. "I know you just got back...but I'll make it up to you in pears if you fetch me a few more things." A nicker and a nuzzle was his reward, loyal a companion as ever was Nerian, quick to please and was of course a pear addict.
It was always an amazing sight to see an arrow, speeding so fast through the air suddenly come to a dead stop where it was, the air holding it and twirling around it, in all actuality a Zephyr catching it. Amusing as well to watch said arrow flip over to face her direction and slowly float back. A little laugh as she took the arrrow from the air. "Thank you Serino...they fly wonderfully, don't they?" Seemed her fletching skills hadn't failed her, they were balanced throughout, a smooth shoot. "Alright then Serino, that's enough." Full metal nocked first on her bow string before she set her sight on one of those sickly trees, anyone who knew her knew she could sink an arrow into wood pretty well.
He probably mumbled all the way up those stairs...he wasn't a happy creature at all. Though there was nothing muchhe could of done, he knew he'd get it. But being locked in a rune designed to cause pain was bad enough...being locked in a room alone with no way out was akin to what a human called a living nightmare. There were three things that perhaps rattled him to no end. Drow women, water, and being locked in rooms alone with no way out.
Being locked away like that was rather unbearable...the quiet, darkness, and isolation made him think entirely too hard, and on things better left not thought about. It was practically maddening to him...though you really couldn't make one who was probably already insane on some level too much more so.
Not to mention he'd have to fix his clothes...again. Wasn't fun to have the line of your spine more or less ripped open by a meat hook...not that the pain bothered him, he was good with physical induced pain. But it was still an irritating fact to know.
Though he did little more than blink as suddenly he was grabbed, his steps fouling a moment from the sudden change in direction, and then he realized that he was being dragged. Eyes came to focus on the little dark skinned hand that was clasped to his own hand and guiding him along. Red followed up her arm till they came to actually look at her, though she wasn't looking back...merely pulling him along, then a breif glance from her. One of those slightly exasperated sighs....what now? He was not in the mood to battle her yet again on another matter....could he even go home now or did he have to stay here? Great he'd have to ask Malik questions now too...lucky him.

Determined to help him no matter the objections raised she guided him up those stairs and down the hall, pushing open her door with one hand and tightening her grip on him just in case he decided to run. He looked...terrified. It was the first time she'd ever seen it but he had a...haunted look in his eyes and he dind't seem to be putting up any kind of fight. His silence mixed with that look scared her more than anything had before. Trembling she pushed him into the room and closed the door, then reached up and slid both pieces of the leather jacket off of him, tossing it on a chair. She'd fix that later, for now his back worried her more than anything else. She studied the ravaged skin, the torn tunic, that had to come off too. Movoing to the front of him she slipped her fingers under the edge of his tunic, starting to pull up, waiting for his hand to grab her writst though she avoided his gaze. The normally vibrant rubies were dull and almost lifeless. He was a puppet that she could manipulate and move anyway she wanted to...not Sevilin. What had happened to him?

Okay this was potientially bad...he had not fond memories of her room at all, at least in his minds opinion so being more or less dragged there wasn't too fun. But he noticed that her pulling...wasn't like it was before. And if anything he was one to interpurt motions in an utmost exact manner. Easily enough hers were recognzed as the motion of a healer...there was a big difference in actions and he liked to read them loud and clear.
It took him a moment of processing before his hands did come up and grabbed her wrists gently, pushing her hands away. But he just then went to undoing belts and setting them side with his torn half jacket then pulled his tunic up over his head, leaving himself dressed fully from waist down and bracers on his forearms still. A little shrug to her. "It's not as bad as it looks, really."

Her head flew up to meet his gaze and she was ready to tell him exactly what she was going to do when he took care of it for her leaving her stunned for a moment. He was going to let her help him? Without putting up a fight? Someone had really done a number on him, hadn't they. Usually the sight of that ebony chest and back, with all it's hidden muscles and chiseled planes would send her temperature up and unbidden thoughts to come racing through her mind. This time, the thoughts were there but easily shoved aside as she moved behind him and reached out to gently probe the wound. The ravaged skin was puckered as though it had been this way for a long time. Her fingers tenderly brushed the cut but instead of wet, sticky blood, they came away dry. His blood had already congealed over the slash, beginning the slow process of healing. Just how long had he let this slash go? She left him briefly to stop in the bathroom and wet a rag then gently began to run it over his back, removing the blood from his skin. "That's debatable..."

He wasn't in the mood to fight, he had enough turmoil going on in that odd thought processing head of his to deal with at the moment. Usually, someone should of yelped at her prodding, at the very least cringe or wince, though he did neither. Almost as if she was touching and he wasn't hurt at all. Physical pain was of no matter to him these days, had long ago been taught how to block it out, thus his mind was the way it was.
"I'm no healer in the common standards, but I know wounds of this sort. Merely meant to spill blood, and cause discomfort, not to maim or kill." In fact he rolled his shoulders some, which of course shifed the skin over the muscles of his back. See? No yelps or anything from him.

That little shoulder roll of his created hell dealing with her control. She almost dropped the rag as fresh blood began to appear in the places his movements had broken the fragile covering his body had created. She swallowed and once again began to sponge at the red drops before setting the rag down on the nightstand and grabbing her medicine bag. The clink of glass reverberated throughout the room as vials crashed against each and spilled onto the bed. Shifting through them she picked up a few and studied them for a moment then shoved the others in a bag, though her fingers shook horribly and she almost dropped them a few times. "Lay down on the bed."

He was...confused...yes that was the right feeling. Her movements seemed, unsure she seemed unfocused...much more different from the pervious time that he was in here...or around her in general for that matter. A little look at her before he walked over to the bed, laying face down, chin resting on his braces as he crossed his arms, leaving his back exposed to her. "You don't have to do this...I know how healers tend to feel the obligation to tend to wounds, no matter who they are on." Because obviously she didn't want to.

She shook her head clearing her throat attempting to get rid of the lump that seemed to have embedded itself there. She sat down beside him and once again dabbed at the wound with the rag then picked up one of those jars. Uscrewing it, she dipped her fingers in and lightly began to spread the cool gel over his back. When she'd coated the surface of the wound, her fingers were pressed once again to his back and she used her magic to heal him. In moments she was looking at his wound closing as if by invisble stitches and then fading beneath the surface of his skin, leaving a clear expanse. Her fingers brushed over the spot the wound had just been before busying herself placing those vials right back in her bag. "Who did that to you?"

"A few yes...rune mages or those who just have strong magics running in thier families." A little dismissive wave with her hand then and a little casual shrug. "A bit better I suppose, but I think that may be because I"m not as...resenting of the idea of being down here this time. I admit that the first time...it was a lot of tension and what not. But this time...yes it's a bit better indeed. I don't feel as lethargic as I did at this point last time I was here."
It was always an interesting feeling to be healed in such a way...though he paid little mind to is as he had most other things. But when she was done, and putting things away, he sat up on the edged of the bed and sighed lightly, raising a hand to brush his fair from his face somewhat before getting up, walking over to the chair where his shirt had been throw, picking it up and looking at the tear down the center back of it. Yeah, great. But a look to her. "One of Malik's breakers, with a meat hook no less. If I were a more sinister elf, I think I would admire the precision."

A light snicker.
"We'll make a pale skinned drow out of you yet."
Though he leaned back slightly.
"Sevilin should be out of his solitary confinement by now. poking aroudn his his head a bit before doors and walls slammed up I found traces of claustrophobia and potential aquaphobia. I think next time he oversteps his bounds I'll give him a closer taste of that."
