Billy strokes Dom's hair gently. "Are we ok now?" he asks.

"I think so." Dominic replies, althuogh he thinks they'd be a lot more ok if they were dating. He's not going to push his luck though.

"OK." Billy kisses Dom's forehead lightly. Then he promptly falls asleep.

Dom hears Billy's breathing change, showing that he'd fallen asleep and grins a little. Apparently Billy thought everything was ok enough to have no trouble falling asleep (as per usual).

And we skip time wooh.
When Billy makes it home the next day, his parents are already packing up to move on. He'd thought they were staying a few days. Apparently not though. Ah well. They inform him that Corrigan is groundedwhen he gets home and Billy shrugs. Then they leave. This type of behaviour is expected from Billy, so he doesn't even get a lecture about it.
The week-ish passes with relative ease. Both Dom and Raven are practically living at the twins' house the whole time. Billy casually mentions the party to Corri one day.

And corri says what we all expect from him, that he'll show up at first but probably won't stick aroudn too long.

Billy spends most of new Year's day decorating the house and getting ready. He doesn't think he's going to drink overmuch tonight, so he just sticks with the wine he'd bought for Christmas. "Raven coming?" he asks Corri casually.

Corrigan, who was being nice and baking some little things for the party, because he is such a house wife, nods, "She likes these things better than I do, why wouldn't she be coming?"

Billy shrugs. "I didn't know if she had to work, or not." he replies. standing on a chair and taping decorations to the wall. "Why do you think mum and dad are gone so much?" he asks suddenly.

"She works tomorrow, for the Holiday pay... so she probably won't be getting smashed tonight." Corri bilnks and looks to Billy, "I don't know. Why ask all of a sudden?"

"I honestly don't believe that for a moment. They were gone all the time before someone would have considered you really 'bad'. They left a lot as soon as we were old enough to be left alone a day or two, and the older we got the more they were gone. I barely even mind anymore, since I hate it when they're here."

Billy nods. But that thought has sort of stuck with him for the most part. "Do you think maybe that's why I did all the crap I used to do? So maybe they'd stay at home and give us some attention?"
