"Sounds simple enough....should i close my eyes or does it matter?" she asked as she folded her legs under her, "I guess its kind of a form of meditation too huh?"

"It is easier if you close your eyes at first. Once you get use to feeling them around you it can be done during more intense moments. You could look at this as a form of meditation for our kind, by our kind I mean necromancers." He said as he pulled out a cig and lit it. "The more you understand the dead around you, the more they will tend to lend you thier services, the more they lend you thier services the easier it becomes to bind them completly to your will and your will alone." He added.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, not that she needed air, it was just to calm her nerves. She started to concentrate, she felt the immediate presence of the spirit in front of her, but there were several others in the close proximity. She concentrated on the others, the hair on the back of her neck stood up and caused a shiver to run down her spine.

Bones took his helmet off and threw it aside leting his wite mane of hair fall past his waist then hurried to take Vicky into his arms. he had missed her these past two weeks and needed to hold her badly " its good to be home love. i have missed you dearly." he caught her as she fal and lowered her to the ground gently kissing her lips .

I was swept up by Bones, "well it's good to see you too" I said with a smile as I returned the kiss. I stood up and leaned on the stair railing, and crossed my arms, "and where have you been?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, trying to look mad

"fullfilig a debt and promise to a woman who died centrys ago, not my mate you are my first love. she was my sister, my twin. we where once inseprable, the greatest warriors in the world. the great covans of all races tried to buy our loyalty. but we resisted. but love is a funy thing. my sister fell in love with a human." bones looked at his sword, many notches and stains on it "humans are not so strong wiled as we vampires. we seek no glory, no riches. only love and warmth from a light we are forbiden from." he looked at his wife with tear filled eyes "she was betrayed a year later by her mate. and i held her as she died. when she did i was consumed with unholy rage and for two millenia i waged war on both the imortals and mortals. can you know the empyness my love. a twin, your very copy dieng "he snaped his fingers " like that. we where win and yag. now i am the yang the neitave. she was the gentle and care giver. i was the war machine at her side. rage to her calm. death to her life."

My arms fell to my sides as I listened to what he had said and took it in. He lost a sister, and worse than that his twin, I could never imagine anything like that happening. "I-I didn't know, I'm sorry, I don't know what to say" I said looking at the ground, "but at least you're here, and I'm happy that you're back" then I started thinking about it, "but I'm guessing you'll be off again soon enough, back to work I suppose" I paused and looked back to him, "so I was thinking of something"

"You may surpass me in some areas yes but we cannot master all aspects of the arcane. I am a lord of the dead, that is my speciality, you could also become one but to surpass me you would need to be able to maintain an army of the dead numbering in the thousands. You have the skills to do it if you apply yourself properly." he said as he looked around at the lost souls. "I do pitty them on ocasion. It is a shame for them, they are jealous of the living and cannot accept their fate. they hate the living and because of that hate they will never know peace. They are like us in a way, unable to truely die. Some of the older ones liek myself can feel a strange sort of kinship with them, after a time our bodies begin to fade and we end up ethereal like them Unable to be touched or touch anything pysicaly, only being able to snuff out the lifes of others through the coldness of thier touch."
