Zero Omega Chrysant The most time I've spent on a game would probably be the various characters I have on WoW. Or the 113 odd hours I played Tales of Symphonia. Mine would probably be Xenogears or Ocarina of Time. Reaching somewhere between 70-100 hours. xd heart I have no idea the longest time I've spent on a game, but I'm betting it was on Lunar EB, since you can go anywhere randomly during the epilogue and I spent a helluva lot of time just running around for the fun of it. sweatdrop

Akimbo Zero Omega Wow, that's a lot of devotion to FFVIII, a lot more than me to Xenogears, which is pretty impressive considering I love Xenogears. I only got through FFVIII once and leveled up my main party to 99. Have you beaten Omega Weapon yet? But yeah, I could seriously see you doing a speed run, no equip, no item, etc challenge on that game. I'm on the very start of the third disc, so I don't have Ragnarok yet to get to the Deep Sea Research place to fight Omega Weapon. I beat him on my last game, I had pretty much everything in the damn game. I'm working on doing the same this game. But not having anything equipped? Easy, there have been many times in this run where I've forgotten to switch the junctioned GFs and magic to the characters I had in play at the time, not too hard. I never got to beat Omega Weapon, I fought him once, he wiped me in like... A turn, then I just went and beat the game. gonk G'luck on getting through it again though.
No, no, by a non-equip game, I mean, beating the game with no equips on at all, unless you have to have something on (like in Breath of Fire III, where you can't unequip a weapon), so you substitute that with the weakest in its class.

I recently did that with Breath of Fire III, by the time I was ready to fight the first boss I was about five or six levels passed the recommended level and could buy everything in the shops. xp

Zero Omega FanFicGuru plz talk2hand 100 hours? Psh, I maxed out my Disgaea timer, I've EASILY put in over 700 hours. And what have I to show for it? Like, a few level 15000 characters. ^_^ The rest are only like, 10,000, and I have a few weak 8,000 characters. >_< Disgaea=More addicting than ANYTHING and, bad for me, Disgaea 2 comes out in August. What's so special about it? Eh, not much besides the fact that one of the special moves does 500 MILLION damage...and that doesn't kill some bosses. *dies* In other news, Happy mother's day to everyone's mothers! And, I went and saw Inside Man. It is WIN, so you must go see it. Thank you. Level 15000? 500 million damage?! What the ********?! gonk Do you like, level in incriments of 100, or level off of every enemy, or wha? gonk For the uninformed masses, here is a breakdown of WHY Disgaea is so addictive and why I've spent a little over 750 hours on it (after last recount): In Disgaea it follows the journey of a young demon prince named Laharl. He's been sleeping for two years and in the meantime his father choked on a pretzel, and died. So, now all these other mean demons want to become the new overlord. Laharl of course, is the rightful heir, and has to fight for it back. After he gets it back there are a number of other things that he needs to take care of. Here's where it gets addictive: 1) The fighting is awesome. There are hundreds of character jobs and classes, There are like, 7 different kinds of 'Fighter' as well as other classes like Ninja, Prinny, Majin, Rogue, Archer, Bishops as well as being able to create ANY monster that you can fight (except bosses) There are also combo systems where if you have a mentor and his pupils (Character creation is done using mana, which is gained when a character kills a monster, thus, when you create a character with another character, the created character becomes a pupil, and the one that helped create the character is the Mentor.) and you can have up to 4 people do a combo. This helps build the bonus gauge which has cool items in it. 2) You can level your characters up to level 9,999. Yes, Nine THOUSAND nine HUNDRED and NINETY NINE! And THEN!!!... you can Transmigrate them back to Level 1 with INCREDIBLY BOOSTED STATS! By doing so you can max out your stats somewhere around level 30-40 THOUSAND. 3) And this is the number one reason why it's so addictive. Every SINGLE item in the game has a WORLD OF ITS OWN! That's right, by going to the 'Item World' one can level up the item, whether it be a sword, axe, gun, spear, armor, shield, or piece of gum. You also subdue 'specialists' as you level up items, and can move, combine and craft specialists to boost stats as you move them from one item to another. So, imagine if you would, a sword that starts out with an attack of around 100. Each set of levels is 10 levels deep. After 10 levels it asks if you want to go back to the Castle. After going through 10 levels, that sword now has an attack of around 200 as well as boosted Defense, HP, Hit, Speed and other bonuses. Some of these items have 100 levels to them in themselves. And then of course there's the whole matter of like, 5 separate worlds that can be unlocked by going before the senate and bribing/beating the crap out of them to see it your way. So, yes...if you like Tactical RPGs, you MUST play Disgaea. Although, it is very rare at this point. Or at least, rare enough that you have to try Ebay or something for like, 50-60 bucks to get it. However, do not fret too much! The sequel, which is a stand alone title, is coming out in August. And from the sounds of it, it'll be just like Disgaea, only even more insane. ^_^ So yeah, I'm happy.

Streamjumper Zero Omega Streamjumper Zero Omega Streamjumper Shhhhhh.... It leads to "Candyland".... CANDYLAND... Candy? CANDY?! *pushes button, repeatidly* *watches the refrigerator fill up and orders more Zeros cloned* Wait! Wha?! gonk Since the Zeros lack a survival instinct, an aggressive cloning campaign is needed to keep their numbers up. After all, the Zero is a useful part of the economy. They make excellent hatracks, doorstops, bookends, and are great for folding up and jaming under short table legs. Currently, we're researching a way to make them fast enough and customizable enough to do a full scale Lemmings game to sell to the rich and sadistic.
