Cassie sighed... She was clearly going to get no help from Chris. So she decided on $20 giftcards... Hartley one for Best Buy, Wallace one for the movie theater, Billy one for Barnes and Noble, Teddy one for the movie theater, and Achilles.... Cassie wasn't sure what to get Achilles so she bought him a gift card good for one day at a spa that the entire staff was all super hot guys that walked around with very few clothes on... he should like that. Cassie sighed.
"Done... "
Cassie didn't worry about a gift for her mom or Lian because she ordered them already online.
" Now to get home..."
Cassie caught up with Donna and Roy.. Poor Roy. Donna made him carry all her purchases which was quite alot. Only... where was Chris? Cassie hoped he wasn't killed by the mobs of people.

"What is this madness!?"
Achilles pushed and shoved his way through the masses and still was u n able to find his sister and Chris who were all caught somewhere in this madness.
He maneuvered his way past a brawl between three women and arrived in a store that smelled of delicious chocolate and sweets. He looked up and saw the sign that read 'Godiva'. It was almost sad how little he knew of his sister's likes and desires, but he did know she appreciated good chocolate.
"Would you like to try a sample sir?"
A woman held out a tray toward him with samples of chocolate covered strawberries and he looked them over and selected a plump one and took a bite. His eyes lit up. It was like nothing he ever tasted before. he eyed he rest...
"Sir....those are for everyone. You can't take them a...SIR!"

Billy wrapped his arms around Teddy's neck and gave him a hug. He thought a kiss in this madness might embarass Teddy a wee bit so he kept the PDA at a minimum.
"And I know I don't need to, but I want to. I like buying stuff for people. I like buying, period. And I crave the hustle and bustle!"

"I hope you realize just how much I like you if it means missing out on Black Friday shopping deals."
He grips Teddy's hand and they vanish...
...
And reappear at a Rainbow Moods coffee shop down the street. Virtually no people as most are out shopping.
"Better?"

*The evil pulsating mob that was the Gamestop shoppers spat Chris back out into the mall. His clothes were ripped but at least he got something for Cassie. He stopped by Taco Bell in the food court next a bought a ton of tacos to share with everyone and started heading back to Macy's. Something on a wooden cart in the mall caught his eye. Hm. He already got something for Cassie at Gamestop. She would like it...it was a fun gift. But this trinket...it spoke to the sappy, Disney romance side of his heart.*
What do I do? What do I do?
*He bought it too. Cassie could have a fun gift and a sappy gift. And she better darn well like it. Yes. Heh. He stopped at another cart selling gift cards. He stocked up on cards for everyone else and then made it to Macy's.
Stepping outside, Chris scanned the parking lot.*

Cassie flew up high scanning the crowds for Chris. She saw him lost in the parking lot and it looked like a bunch of kids on skateboards armed with nerf guns were headed straight for him.
"Chris! Watch out!"
Cassie flew towards Chris.

*It was Cassie! What was she pointing at? Time slowed down. As Chris slooooowly turned the skateboarders came to a stop and aimed. A look of horror spread across Chris's face. And then he was blasted. Head, chest, legs, and the crotch...Nerf was everywhere. Chris's body jerked from the vicious Nerfing and he fell to the blacktop. The kids laughed and reloaded.*

Cassie flew down next to Chris. The kids all stared shocked to see a girl come out of the sky.
"Buzz off before I tell your parents!"
The kids all ran and Cassie picked up Chris...
" Are you okay?"
She landed by the car where Donna and Roy were waiting for them.

Since everyone else was out shopping, Wallace and Hartley had the Sandsmark residence to themselves.
Which suited Hartley just fine.
Hartley took his turn at the shower. As he was drying off, he heard his phone ring.
"Never fails..."
Hart wrapped the towel around his waist and grabbed his phone off the dresser.
"Hey, Mom."
"Happy Thanksgiving, Harty!"
"That was yesterday, actually."
"Oh...damn this time difference. Well, the conference is going well and it actually looks like it's going to end early. Would you like to see Germany? I thought maybe for the rest of your break, you would like to fly and stay with us, see the sights..."
"Oh....yeah. Sorry mom...I have other plans."
"Oh."
His mom sounded disappointed. Well, too bad. They were the ones who wanted to be on the other side of the world so damn badly.
"Yeah, I'm with friends, and we're having fun, and...well, there's someone I'm seeing, so-"
Bah, shouldn't have let that slip.
"Seeing? Are you seeing someone, Harty? Oh, that's wonderful! Tell you what, we could get her a ticket, too."
Gaaaaaaaaah. This was a fight Hartley didn't want to have to continue over the phone.
"It's not like that, mom...But yeah, I gotta go. Have fun in Germ-"
"We'll be home for Christmas, Harty. Please at least say you'll be coming home then."
Hartley gritted his teeth.
"Yeah. Maybe. Sure. Have fun in Germany. Bye."
"I love-"
Hartley clicked the phone off and put it back on the dresser.

Chris was out in the fields just taking in the scenery. Overall it had been a nice holiday. There had been plenty of food and both family's had seemed pretty nice. Especially the Langs. Linda had told him that his cover would be an exchange student they we're hosting, and they had gone along with it no questions asked.
He really had time to talk to Linda about his powers, but he was hoping now that they had some alone time he might get some answers. He stood alone waiting for Linda to arrive.

Linda Super speeded to Chris's location in seconds, holding two ice cream cones in her hand.
"Sorry I'm late. I stopped for Ice Cream. And I got you one too."
*Hands him Chocolate, then sits in the field*
"So I guess you have a lot of questions huh? So Go a head. There's no one but us here. I'll try to answer as best I can, but I'm a little new at this myself."
