Dante_Shadowolf I'm not sure if I'm happy or pissed off at the fact that Kubo decided to change Gin's Bankai.
The "extends faster than the speed of sound" was way more simpler than what Gin said. It's possible that the dust/poison thing is his Bankai, while the extension and speed is part of his Shikai, something he was just downplaying to hide his Bankai's true ability. Dante_Shadowolf Using the reserve brain chemicals my mind is using to allow me to function this late at night... I think that Gin will use the Hougyouku himself but will end up being consumed by Aizen's remnants within the Hougyouku a la Kabuto.
... Either that or Aizen will reveal it to be an illusion, and that the whole 'touching the blade will spare you from the illusion' is just a lie like Gin's supersonic extending blade.  Let's not hope for a repeat of Kabutomaru. stare @Nacchi: That's why you should never leave. blaugh

I got a feeling that Aizen wasn't lying about his weakness. But rather, that weakness only applies in Shikai, and it'll be reveled that Aizen's been in Bankai since Hogyoku or some BS.... Or Kubo might pull some crap move and it actually be a lie or it is his real weakness but he'll use ↑, ↑, ↓, ↓, ←, →, ←, →, B, A, Start...
