Twyla walked into the common room still in aw at going to school in a castle. Her other school in America was nothing like this! She had found herself wondering the halls in-between classes exploring, though a few of the times she had been purely lost. She sighed as she plopped down onto the crimson sofa with her bag of books, she had sooo much school work to do, but found procrastination to be much more satisfying at the current moment, or maybe a small nap?

((Yay! 1000 posts will soon befall us! I remember opening this thread like it was yesterday...well not exactly xp Good idea with the roleplaying, Liz.))
Ann stumbled back in from the Library after a good nap or two in the dusty study rooms. She hobbled over near the fireplace with her pile of Defense Against the Dark Arts books and settled on her favorite squishy pouf she usually sat on for the last five years at Hogwarts.
When she set her books down, she waved gaily at Twyla and began to thumb through her books. Finding an interesting chapter on Werewolf Transformation, Ann immersed herself in her readings.

*Tabby walked quietly in the common room not wanting to disturb anybody with their studies. She smiled shyly at Ann and Twyla and sat down in a big squishy chair and pulled out her herbology book as Tommy hopped into her lap "Might as well start reading so that when class does start i'll be ready." Tabby thought to herself.

Fearless walked into the Common Room from the Great Hall, dripping with mash potato and cream and food. She was literally a piece of food. "Urgh. I'm never getting into a food fight ever again." She grumbled as she fished for her wand inside her cloak. "Tergeo." She said as she pointed the wand at her cloak. She stowed it back before sitting on the floor near the fireplace. Thinking about something, she sat quietly by the fireplace, near where Ann was sitting.
[[It's not that bad. I don't like chinese characters, they're all jumbled up in my mind and I can't get anything right. I'm also learning Malay and trying to fit French into my schedule.]]

Kitty sat down next to Fearless, "So the language isn't too hard for you, just the characters?" asked Kitty to be sure. "I heard French's phonetics don't make much sense xp are you trying to continue it? What about Malay, what kind of language is that?"

Ann looked up from her readings and smiled at the new arrivals. Suddenly her cat, Aiko, jumped onto her lap demanding attention. Ann scratched Aiko's ears and proceeded to read her book.

Twyla opened her eyes and smiled at Ann and everyone else who was filing into the common room, “Hey everyone” she gave a large stretch and stood up, then randomly started dancing around the room. She suddenly came to a halt and turned a bit red, “ug… sorry about that” she bit her bottom lip. She was use to bursting out into random actions without warning though she wasn’t sure how her fellow house mates would react.

“Sorry, I’m a dancer and I tend to do that a lot, I’m not very good at sitting still” she smiled. Then did a little twirl over to the window, she was slightly bored. “Anyone want to do something other then study or a food fight?”

Ann looked up from her books and was met by the sight of her housemates dancing around her. She gave a mock frown, "Hey! Its not a dance party until we have a magical disco ball." With the flick of her wrist, Ann conjured a moving disco ball in the middle of the Common Room, "Now its dance party time." She let Aiko fall from lap and joined in with the festivities.
((Liz is right. Everyone please join Quidditch. We're in dire need of players. I would join, but I completely suck and have no time to read up the rules this time around. If I find the time, I'll see if there's any positions left and go from there.))
