I finished reading the first Ravenor book and well, it's been a blast! surprised I can see why Mel and Vikki are such staunch supporters of it. The way the story is told, one moment they are on a filthy hive world, then they're at a circus, then on a feudal world. Action is good, I found most of the characters interesting and they all had their little peeves and things. Hopefully I can track down the second and third book soon! xp

Just back from the Frenzy, mister Dembski-Bowden signed some books for me. blaugh
He signed my Soul Hunter with "Hi Melvin, this is the first one I've signed..."
And signed the second one, for someone online with: "Dear stranger, Hi. How are you? I am fine. A bit hungry."

Really nice guy, the two BL guys kept jesting with his girlfriend about how slow he was with putting down his signature, which would be something of a bother later this year when his Horus Heresy book is coming out.
