Kikyo stopped dead in her tracks at the mention of Kekkaishi. Kikyo looked to him in disbelief, thinking it had to be some sort of cruel joke or something. Her eyes turned icy and indifferent as she gave a silent, "Fine." She waited until he had left before she closed her eyes and held her head like she had a head ache.
Kanshin's eyes glossed over slightly as a smile spread wide over her face. She grabbed one of Kikyo's arms and shook it excitedly. "Did you hear that, Kikyo-semp-"
"Yes, I did... And for that man's sake, he sure as hell better hope he isn't lieing to me..." She started walking calmly, bringing in her stoic expression once again as she made her way to Kekkaishi's home, not really making an effort to get there quickly. Hey, she'd waited five years for him to show, so he could wait these few minutes it ws taking her to make her merry little way there.

Kekkaishi was alrady in his home he loved taking the shortcuts that most people seemed to have forgoten. he had his back turned to them and when they came close enough he turned around." gald to see you made it cant wait till master sees yoru face" kekkaishi began to wonder just how long he coudl keep his identity from her. he whanted to enjoy this moment before the inevitable fist could come to him "master has been gone for a while please be kind to him kikyo-sama"

Kikyo gave one of those smiles that could send shivers down the spine of even some of the bravest men that only a truely angered woman can give. "Oh, believe me, I know he's been gone for a long time. But don't worry, I was planning to be so sweet to him that he'd feel lie he'd just been hit by twenty pounds of sugar."
Kanshin shivered in fear and carefully removed Kia off of Kikyo's shoulders. "I-it's best to stay out of the way, Kia-chan. Lesson number one about Kikyo-sempai, her greetings tend to be more painful the more she loves you. Makes me thankful I'll only be a friend to her."
Kikyo's smile softened as she looked to Kanshin. "I've gotten better. I don't cuss out people as often as I used to, nor have I tried to hurt Hido in a while."
"True. Especailly considering the hurt you try to give isn't the loving kind. I really do wish you'd be more nice to him, though..."
"He can kindly kiss my a**~."
"Yeah, I figured you'd say that. That is your usual response to that request. Silly me." Kanshin gave a sad, small sigh, yet she continued her smile.
Kikyo tossled Kanshin's hair before looking to Kekkaishi. "So, where is he? I thought he'd died five years ago when he first went missing... No one told me a thing about what happened to him, so I figured his dad didn't want to tell me some bad news."

kekkaishi led the way to the tea room where the servents just finished putting out fresh tea and kikyo's favorite cake." you kno it took me quite a while to remember how t bake. i told my father no to tell you. i had to leave. i know there is nothing i can say to make what i did alright so i wont try." he sat down on his chair mentioning t the other chairs for them to sit down." a lot has happened that i do not know about.... you have gotten softer kikyo, and for some reason this doesn't feel liek the usal place for heaven." he dog into his robes taing out kikyo's pendant as the absulute proff that he was and is kekkashi soshi. then he turned to kahnshin." and you have seemed to gain some backbone"

Kikyo and kanshin followed in behind Kekkaishi and were about to sit down when Kekkaishi started talkin again. That part in the back of her mind had been nagging her this whole time about how familiar his voice sounded, and that was part of why she seemed so irritated. But, as soon as he finished talking and had pulled out her mother's old pendant, she gasped and stood up again, her hands going to cover her mouth as her eyes filled with tears a little. She walked over to him and opened her arms up like she was about to hug him before her hands clasped around his neck and she got a strangely happy and upset expression. "Where... the hell... have you been? I FINALLY give up all hope that you're even alive, and then you bark at me to demand to know a perfectly good explaination as to why I'm home and then trick me into thinking you're some one else?! START TALKING DAMN IT!" Even in her anger and fustration, you could tell the tears in her eyes were those of joy.
Kanshin curled up in her chair and gave a small wave to Kekkaishi. "I thought you sounded familiar. I just didn't want to say anything in case you were some one else. How've you been Kekkaishi-kun~?"

he touched kikyo's hands, then wiped away soem of her tears. he turned to kanshin first." i am doing okay considering that kikyo is being way to nice to me. you will have to tell me how you did it." he turned back to kikyo." i had to leave. in my anger i let go of my vetors. al they whanted to do was destroy evrywhere i turned i saw you dead. so i had my father lock me up till i could distuinguish truth from false. i am sorry i hurt you so much my kikyo." his voice had gotten softer as he spoke." i did not recognise you. you where calmer softer. more kinder then last time i remembered you. iwhanted to enjoy that before you tried to ill me kikyo."

Kanshin laughed lightly and rubbed the back of her neck. "Well, considering last time, I guess this is nicer, huh? Though, who would have thought strangling the one you love would count as being way too nice... Oh, I didn't really do anything. Kikyo-sempai's actually become quite friedly~! You should have seen her at the Christmas ball we went to not too long ago! A whole bunch of people wanted to talk to her~." Kanshin seemed to get more and more delighted at the thought that her cold-hearted friend was starting to finally open up.
Kikyo's grip softened as he spoke before she finally let go and closed her eyes, using one of her hands to cover half of her face. "Yeah, I have become softer... But I guess that happens when you spend five plus years with a bubble head like Kanshin." She glanced over to Kanshin, who was still smiling just as cheerflly as before. She sighed lightly before pulling up a chair and sat down next to him, setting her forehead against his shoulder. "... Every day... Since the day you first left the hospital... I feared the worst.... I thought... Maybe you had died since I had been so rough in that fight and... Or that you had comitted suicide since I know how much it pained you to see that image or... worse... You might have begun to hate me and found another... For some reason, that one seemed to hurt the most since at least if you died you could have come back and come find me... No matter what, though, I thought that maybe all the people that had told me you wouldn't come back were wrong... until about a year ago... Don't worry, I never found any one, but... I felt so empty with out you... I guess that's the main reason I'm more... pleasant than before."
Kanshin had a few tears rolling down her cheeks and she was pouting softly. "I'm sorry, Kikyo-sempai. It must hve been more tough being around Hido-kun and I than I thought. I know it kind of bothered you to see the two of us together, but I hadn't thought that was why you seeme more angry when he would do sweet things for me and stuff in front of you."
Kikyo stayed silent, not wanting to admit that she had been jealous she couldn't do that sort of thing with Kekkaishi.

Kekkaishi could not help but smile and kiss kikyo's forhead." i am sorry i was gone so long. i needed to recover. i do not nor would i ever blame you. i never tought i would be affected like that. such a thing would not happen agian. at least not as long as i know you are here. if you had found someone i would have understood. and at teh pluss side you are stronger then me now." he looked at kahnshin and as if for the first time he noticed kanshin was holding someone. " um who is that? and one other thing what the hell happened in heaven? this is a diffrent sky then i remember. and are you not going to eat teh cake kikyo? its yoru favorite."

Kikyo turned around and got herself a big slice of cake and imediately set to work on it. Oh, how she needed the sugar so much. Kanshin had been trying to cut her love for sugar but... well, that's another reason she seemed moody today. Cold turkey sucks.
Kanshin smiled and looked to kia. "This is Kia-chan. Kikyo-sempai found her outside of Hido-kun's mansion in Hidden Waterfall, and it seems Kia-chan's grown petty fond of Kikyo-sempai. Kikyo-sempai's actually been very patient with Kia-chan and we're both going to help her on a special thingy her... What'd she call it? A tribe? Yeah! She's on a special thingy for her tribe and we're helping her to see the world~!"
At this point, Kikyo was already on her second slice of cake, and what a generous slice it was. "And to answer the question as to what's different about Hidden Heaven, it moved. Stupid Gear Nation wanted the cannons in Hidden Heaven, so they came in with Hido, who was the leader of the Akatsuki before it was destroyed, and and helped take over... Yeah, I tried to stop it, but, well.... I failed miserably. I guess it was to be expected when I only had Kanshin and two other genin from Hidden Cloud trying to get against two people both on a Kage level... On the plus side, it seems I made an impression on one of the Kages. The other I have no choise but to deal with him since Sunshine over there got herself engaged."
Kanshin grinned as she held out her hand to show off the akatsuki ring she was wearing. "See? See? Hido-kun gave it to me~! Sure, where he proposed wasn't exactly the most romantic place n the world... Actually, it was ind of scary going through a town full of criminals-"
"HE DID WHAT?!"
"But I don't mind~! All I care is making sure my Hido-kun is happy~!"
Kikyo sighed and shook her head. "Jeeze, Kanshin. How the hell do you see past all of that? I swear, everything is just rainbows and unicorns with you, isn't it?"
Kanshin smiled childishly and blinked innocently. "Oh! Kikyo-sempai was famous for a little while!"
Kikyo facepalmed and groaned. "Don't tell me you're going to get into that. Plese, don't. I'd rather you not."
"Wonna hear? Wonna hear? It's really really cool! She actually made a deal with Akuma-sama, and he's really well known and famous and stuff and she opened the gates of hell!"
Kikyo stuck a forkful of cake into her mouth and let the fork dangle from her mouth as she pinched the bridge of her nose.

kekkaishi silently listened to eevrything that was said. he remained quite for a while hmm so that explains that... but an akatsuki even aformer one shouldn't have made it in. kikyo has grown a lot. " the gates of hell kikyo? i guesss you finaly fullfilled your promised." he looked at kanshin." sure tell me everything but you have till she finishes her cake."

Kikyo let her head drop, some of her hair falling forward to work as a bit as a curtain as she nibbled her cake.
Kanshin always loved getting to tel stories. "Okay, not long after Hidden Heaven moved, Kikyo-sempai and I were wandering around when she felt something was off- this was before Kia-chan had joined us. Any ways, since Hido was around, she just left me with him and went off some where. I can't remember where she said. But while she was there, she found Runt-kun- he tried to help us save Heaven. Did you know his sister's Kage of Hidden Cloud? Any ways, she saw he was getting hurt by Akuma, and when she went to go help Runt-kun, Akuma-sama turned to her and was all like 'I've been waiting for you.' It turns out, that key chain she has hanging around her neck is a key blade, and with Runt-kun's key blade they had the ability to open up hell! She knew Akuma-sama really needed her, so she made him agree to all sortsa stuff! First, he had to make her really strong so she could try to get Heaven back! Then he had to agree to keep Hidden Heaven safe during any attack, and it was a safe haven! She said she made sure that I wouldn't get hurt, and there was something else, but I forgot... Oh! He did all of it though! And she was even mentioned in the news! Can you believe it? Drago-kun had even wanted her dead since he was scared of the power she and Runt-kun had. Although, nothing actually happened now that I think about it. Drago-kun died and Akuma-sama just kinda disappeared along with the weird mist.... Oh! Kikyo-sempai did have another spirit in her body for a while afterwards though. Say, what ever happened to her?"
Kikyo finished her cake just in time and sighed. "She went away, end of story." There was no enthusiasm in her tone. It was all just one weird experience after another at the time, and she would have rather just have forgotten it all...

Kekkaishi could not help but smile." hmm so i see.wheni am not around kikyo suddenly becomes the most attractive female in the planet? man i miss kamarakura. at least there it was only us two.......kikyo you have gotten stronger then even your father could have guessed. to protect heaven, open the gates of hell. and force someone like akuma to go with your demands." he isghed and then laughed. his servents looked at him it was along time since they had heard there master laugh." and in the mean time all i got was some training and the mark of my family." he said pointing to his forehead tatto.

Kikyo smiled sheepishly to Kekkaishi. "If it makes you feel better, I think that mark makes you look sexy."
Kanshin smiled and giggled happily befre getting a slice of cake It did look pretty tempting. She got herself and Kia a plate, knowing full well if she hadn't then neither of them would have gotten any. "It's funny what all we've learned. I learned all of my clan techniques, and Kikyo learned a bunch of new ice techniques, though neither of us have used them. We haven't really gotten into a situation to need them."
Kikyo shrugged lightly. "Surprisingly, she's right. I've actually been good and staying out of trouble."

kekkaishi tought for a momment. then got close to kikyo he placed a light kiss on her lips." my kikyo i am so sorry but know that i am here we might get into trouble.... what do you three say we train together then? i neede a war up anyway." i need to see how far away from them i am... plus this would be the perfect time to try out those new traps" and just to make it fair i will you choose the teams. kikyo. and me cant tag team... it woudl be unfair what with the vectors. and all."

Kikyo thought for a moment before shaking her head. "That'd still be unfair to them. How about you and Kanshin fight since last time the three of us sparred it was mostly me verus you and you ended up hospitalized... again.... Then agian, I don't know how safe it is for you to fight an Enkou with all of her clan's moves..."
Kanshin blinked before looking to Kikyo. "I'll be super careful not to burn down the surrounding forest or try and not hurt Kekkaishi-kun too badly. After all, I've never really gotten the chance to actually fight."
"That's because you're usually busy getting kidnapped. What do you say? After all, the ice techs I have are a bit more harsh then a simple genjutsu..."
