Glory listened to Ran....but something didn't seem right. She noticed his eyes were......colder. Yet as she listened to Ran he did have a few points. But Li wasn't evil....although he was cold hearted at times...but that was only because he lost the one he loved the most. And gathering the cards to save his family wasn't an evil purpose...was it? Glory thought those facts over but then shook her head. "Li isn't evil...he's just cold hearted since he losted the one he truly loved......and wanting the cards to see your family again isn't evil..but..." Glory stoped in mid-sentence. Trying to come up with more reasons.

But what?! Because I have a split personality?! Because of that, my reasons aren't valid?! *Ran looked at her with furiously saddened eyes. He appeared to be at the brink of tears* So he lost someone close to him, I can understand! I lost the people who meant the most to me too! So what makes me evil and him justified?! Can you answer that?! stressed

Glory looked down as ran spoke. She winced at his tone and at his words....he was right. Glory didn't know how to respond but she knew she had to be calm. She looked back up at Ran, holding a pleading expression in her eyes. "Ran, please calm down. You're scaring me please"

*Ran stood out up quickly, his chair falling over behind him. One hand was planted firmly on the table, the other grasping the tea tup in a deathgrip. He saw Glory's expression and wanted to stop yelling. He didn't want to scare her, but he couldn't stop. At that moment, his eye began to pulse again* I just want to know why?! Why am I always the bad guy?! I thought you would understand!! I thought you would care! scream *With that, Ran's grip tightened around the cup, shattering it in his hand. He didn't even wince in pain as the shards fell to the ground and pierced into his hand. Tea, sugar, and blood all dripped slowly onto the tabletop*

Fai could see and here all this from his perch. He jumped down, tranforming into his guardian form, and running. He threw open the door to the tea shop and grabbed Glory, enfolding her in his arms. He glared at Ran. "You're the bad guy because you can so easily turn on someone you care about. Glory understands you better than anyone. And the cards aren't going to be given to Li, they are the property of their individual owners. La Mort, who killed Sakura, is to be defeated and then the cards are to be sealed once again." he said, then folding his wings over them. It made them seem invisible because his wings were made of light and it refracted all light. He backed out of the tea shop and then unfolding his wings, he flew up and down the street to Remmy's house, deciding it was the safest place. He landed gently and put Glory down.

Glory was getting even more scared as Ran crushed the tea cup in his hand. She couldnreally quite understand what Ran was going through. Losing his family, his loved ones. Glory hadn't lost anyone whom was real close to her, so she didn't know how bad it could feel...she could only imagin. She was about to speak when Fai came busting in. People gasped seeing Fai in his guardien form as he went over to protect Glory. She tried to get out of Fai's protective arms. But her efforts were in vain, Fai closed his wings making them invisible, leaving the tea place with Glory on the brink of tears herself. She closed her eyes letting her tears fall again as Fai took her to Remmy's house by means of flying. As Fai landed, then gently putting Glory down, she turned around to face Fai. She wasn't mad at him, she knew he was only trying to protect her. She leaned onto Fai crying. "..w-why?...w-why did Ran have act like that?.." she mumbled softly.

Fai sighed and could think of nothing to do but rub her back. "Glory, I tried to warn you. This is why it's necassary for me to be with you all the time. Ran's split personality could emerge at any time, and for any reason. You were talking about the cards and reasons for aquiring them and his seemed more important to him, it always will. He considers Li to be like La Mort, wanting the cards for himself." he said. He then tilted her chin up so she would look at him. "But Li is just your guide, as am I. Never forget that. You will have to learn for yourself, and Ran doesn't wish you to hold back when he changes. As much as he hates people bringing it into the conversation, it is an important part of him. You will learn and your powers will grow. At that point you might be able to sense his changes." he said, his voice strong and serious. When it came to protecting Glory he was not as faint hearted as he seemed.

Glory nodded and wiped her eyes. She was l that Fai was there to comfort her but she wished Ran hadn't changed. Because if he didn't..she still would be there with him. '...I have to train and find the cards before La Mort gets his hands on them...and I have to help Ran....' she thought. "..I understand Fai......and I'm guessing you would want to starting training soon right?" she replied sounding happy as though nothing had happend at the tea place.

Fai nodded, a look of worry still on his face. He knew Glory better already than to think that she was happy and cheery after what happened. "I suggest some training with Remmy first however, just to make sure the power of the card isn't too much. The basics for the card are to call on the power of the light and tell it what you need to do in the situation." he said, giving her the very basics just in case. He hoped a situation didn't arise where she'd need the basics before he could teach her more.

Glory listened taking in the information from Fai and storing it for later use if she had to use it that is. Glory took out from her pocket her card. "Ok so all I would have to do is say 'I call upon The Light' then something to do? That sound's easy."

fai seemed to think for the moment. "It's actually 'I call upon the power of the light' or 'Light, I call on your power.' Either of those will bring the card out so long as it's the cards owner saying it. And then you give it a command. To get it back in the card tell it to return to the card." he said, making sure he was specific.

Kai remained silent as he continued to walk along side Remmy. He was still quite freaked out about everything that was happening. Everything from creatures popping out of cards to talking lizards just did not seem normal to him. Well, what he thought was normal. But he waited to continue the asking of his question until they were where the girl wanted them to talk.

everything will be explained in due time, dear boy ::the salamander says cheerfully as he climbs out of Remmy's pocket and up to her shoulder so that he can see what was going on. he studied the new card captor:: and soon we shall have to find your guardian...

*Ran glared at Fai as he bursted into the tea house. He listened to Fai's words closely, then watched in silence as they fled the shop. The people around him were in a stunned shock from the scene* ...why? Why?! stressed *Ran felt tears wheling up in his eyes and looked down at his bleeding hand. Small pieces of the cup were still embedded but he refused to pull them out. Ran gritted his teeth and forcefully overturned the table, sending condiments, plates, and everything else flying to the floor* Why do I have to be like this?! *He turned and quickly stormed out of the store in seek of La Mort. He couldn't do this. He couldn't afford to lose someone else that he had come to care about. If anyone was able to help him cure his split personality, it would be La Mort*

Glory nodded at Fai then looked at her card. Strange how such a small and ordinary looking object could hold so much power. She turned back to Fai. "..Ok I understand but umm.....Fai where are we? sweatdrop " she asked.
