That last part was a lie, but Min wasn't about to let her bargaining chip go. "Supers or not, we have the upper hand here. You were always weak without your powers, Soltari." "If I die, the tether with the Enforcers and all of my forces in this city are gone. Currently, I direct them. When I die, over fifty enforcer under this city loose thier common tether. You may survive the resulting madness, but you will loose this city." "You won't die if you turn off the damned grid, Soltari." He simply began chuckling, and tapped several keys, the pulses in the glass tube slowing, then stopping, as the super's powers returned. Xeen's chuckling faded to a smirk as he release a spear of energy into the terminal, the computer detonating. "And they can't attack if the Grid is active."

"Let's just hope you supers are strong enough to take on these things." She said in a low voice to no one in particular. Xeen glared at Bobby for a brief second, then back to Minerva, "Where is she."

"Let's just hope you supers are strong enough to take on these things." She said in a low voice to no one in particular. Xeen glared at Bobby for a brief second, then back to Minerva, "Where is she." "In the very city you're trying to destroy. She's been in the AA base for the last year." Minerva was guessing, and hoping Xeen would buy it, she knew Erica had left the base at some point, but didn't know where.

With the grid down Seth makes his appearance in the city as he teleports to the edge of Krovh and walks farther into the city.

"Might have to hold you to that." The Chief said to Sahira, in reference to her comment about a drink.
Yadda yadda, I was at work, missed stuff, all sortsa s**t happened. Powers are back.
"If you die, the mini-boss' go loose and break the city, huh?" The Chief said, whipping his gun out, leveling it at Xeen's head.
"But if we do anything you don't like, they go and break the city and us. Am I getting this all?" The black mist started to grow around the Chief's eyes.
"Sounds like killing you saves us a few problems. Rather a mob than an army." The Chief fired two shots at Xeen's head.

Sahira stretched the moment she felt her strength and senses come back. She noted the black mist starting to move around the cheif's eyes and tilted her head. "Well isn't that fancy." The tip of her nose twitched as the shots rang out, she wouldn't have shot at Soltari herself, not quite yet anyhow.

Xeen fired up his Aura with the black mist and the "Sounds like killing you..." part, the bullets flattening against the shield. "Why do you think I was up here? Malador has the launch protocols for Jerhic's nuclear weapons. If I do anything he doesn't like I loose Union, and Jerhic looses Krovh and Phoenix. Of course, if I tell a white lie and say my Enforcers at the gates were killed and I need more in the city, and the Grid being off is how they operate, you can deal with him for me, save your city, and all of it's people as well as yourselves. I have no intent of attacking, or killing any of you. Bolton is in the President's Compound a short distance from here. If you hurry, you should beat the Enforcers."

The mist from the Chief's eyes faded, only having been there so he could confirm his powers were back. He kept his gun leveled at Xeen.
"You're bad at the villain role. You're supposed to tell us that after you die."

"Can't talk after death, Onyx...well usually." Sahira blanced on the rail of the catwalk, then her ear twitched slightly. "We got a problem. A group of ten or twenty soldiers heading our way, and it sounds like they're preparing weapons as they move." She glanced at Soltari and then back at the rest of them. "We have to decide now. What's the action? Fight our way back to Bolton? Or hole up here?"

Xeen raised a hand, eyes closed as he opened a rift for them, the streets outside where thier vehicles waited for them visible through it.
"If you hurry, I can buy you time to get to Malador unhindered. Go, I'll deal with the soldiers."

The Chief hesitated for just a moment before he gave a short grunt. He quickly told his men over the coms to not engage, that they'd be fine, and went through the rift.
"Ra, you don't know nothin' 'bout video games. The bad guys can always talk after they die."
