Mere purred at Alexis, watching Joshua as he started crawling around, the teeth ring held in his mouth. -- Jay kissed Asher back, melting ever so slightly. Asher always made him feel good and he was still in awe that the beautiful vampire had chosen him, a plain, blond rich kid.
"okay" Jay answered with a smile, getting up from the bed and stretching.

((sometime jump thing given I can't figure out anything else to reply with...x.x;; ))
Julianna floated downstairs with a happy little smile on her face. She hummed a soft little song, oblivious to everything around her as she floated to the kitchen for a cold drink. She had clipped her pretty blue hair back and with her naturally blue hair, she looked like a typical teenager who had altered her hair color just to get under her parents skin.
Asher, who had been seated in the living room with a sleeping Raven who's head was in his lap, watched his oldest with a raised eyebrow, wondering what had sparked this mood. He knew Julie was always a happy little thing, but he hadn't realized exactly how happy she just became until now.
He stopped stroking Raven's hair while he listened to Julie getting a glass and a drink. "Peu un.. qu'est-ce qui vous a rendus si heureux, peu d'amour ?" (what has made you so happy, little love?) He requested, softly but knowing he would be heard regardless.
"Rien, père. Rien du tout." She replied softly and rather dreamily, taking a sip of her drink before floating to head back upstairs, with a little pink tinting her cheeks. (Nothing, father. Nothing at all.)
"Don't lie, Peu un." He said sternly, shifting his blue gaze to his daughter's own blue gaze.
She smiled sweetly to him and sighed softly. "I suppose if you must know..."
"Oui je dois savoir, Julianna." (Yes I must know, Julianna. ) Asher frowned at his daughter. What made her think he wouldn't want to know?
Julianna smiled and leaned on the railing as she daydreamed about the certain young pirate, already in the process of explaining him to her father who was shifting rather uncomfortably in his seat. She finished off with a tiny sigh.
Asher blinked, realizing how much he wasn't liking this. She was considered nobility despite how he lived and everything but she was in crushing on a pirate. Old habits died hard in this vampire and despite adjusting to the modern era, he still held onto traditional ways...so to him the pirate being at sea was a good thing...

Jay had seated himself on the floor, legs crossed over one another as Merethist sat in his lap, silver hair out of his normal low ponytail style. Jay had the ribbons wrapped loosely around his left wrist, plaiting Merethist's hair out of boredom. The Corsea had done his, though it was a tad sloppy, so he was returning the favor.
"Nee Jay-chan, Puli all lovey-lovey" The Cherryblossom Phantom informed in, pointing to Julianna as she floated down the stairs. Jay looked up, pushing loose bangs from his inncent, gray eyes as he watched her. Yup, she was ga-ga.
He watched Asher question Julianna, he picked up on French easy by now, living with Asher and hearing Nishi and Alexi use it a lot had given him that much of an ability, he just wasn't confident in speaking it. Was Asher really so oblivious to female emotions?? He shrugged to himself, tying the ribbon back into Merethist hair as the Corsea watched silently.
Jay blinked, a pirate?? oh dear....

Oh dear was right as Asher moved from his seat to escort his daughter away from sight, though with Jay picking up on the gifts of being a human servant, Asher was certain he wouldn't get far. Julianna was a little surprised to being escorted from the room and wondered if she'd done something wrong.
The vampire settled the corsea down outside, and fidgeted with his hair a moment, his face going into a blank mask, that same mask he used when he really didn't want to deal with something. He didn't want his little girl's heart broken and he knew what the sea life was like....apparently he himself had been either a pirate or was a ship merchant or was familiar with them from his childhood.
He caressed his daughter's face, really studying her for the first time since she had grown into a corsea form. He had made several mistakes over his several lifetimes and he was sure he was about to make another but he wanted to keep her safe.
"Julianna..." He paused not sure how he wanted to talk to her. He wanted Raven to do so. It was easier. It was a female thing not a male thing...but Julianna was his corsea. He admired her pixie like wings and her blue eyes. He noticed her eyes were almost like his in color and tint except hers looked more periwinkle then blue...like a baby lavender...She was all soft colors and quite beautiful and he felt his heart ache, if it could despite the blood that made him a bit cold to the touch.
Julie sat, waiting patiently. She even fixed the barette in her hair while sh waited for him to speak.
Asher had remained standing, old school and old world training taking place. He rubbed his temple a little. Sighing and deciding to stop beating around the bush, he just spoke, knowing she would be mad at him for it.
"Julianna. ..I ne veut pas que vous le voyant. ..not à comme un amant." (Julianna...I don't want you seeing him...not at as a lover.) He spoked softly, trying to keep his tone and face blank and free of emotion.
Julie's face shifted from dreamy to a look of where she was in shock of sorts. She didn't understand why she couldn't.
"Pourquoi ne pouvoir pas je ? Il n'est pas comme les autres au tribunal. ..He n'ennuie pas. ...Why ne peut pas je ?" (Why can't I? He isn't like the others at court...He isn't boring....Why can't I?) She asked, sounding like she was on the verge of tears. Tears hadn't even come close to her eyes yet.
A boy had run in from the docks, and was finding their address and pounding on the door. He looked like he could have been a cabin boy rather then just a boy who could deliever messages.
Raven woke up to answer the door. She was barely awake as she opened the door, muttering a small hello. The boy smiled sweetly. "A message for Miss Julianna." He handed the message to her and zipped off after Raven gave him a dollar fifty for his trouble. She didn't recongize the seal but didn't want to intrude. She scuttled through the house to give the message to Julie. "It's for you, sweety." With that she walked back to the couch to grab the rest of her nap.
Julianna blinked at the letter, and opened it up, ignoring her father as she read.
"Dear Julianna,
I enjoyed our walk today. It was nice to have such refined company compared to what I am use to. I was hoping you'd be at the docks tomorrow to see me off on our journey. To see your lovely face before heading off into the dangerous sea would make me very happy. I hope this letter finds you well and I will attempt to write again while I am out a sea. Perhaps should I come across some treasure, I will send you something that glitters.
Your rogue at sea,
R"
She squealed softly as she read the letter and held it to her, nipping at her lower lip a little. She was already darting away from the bench to go prep herself for meeting him at the docks.
Asher reached out to grab her, latching onto her wrist and pulling her back. "Julianna! I forbid this." It was the first time he ever remembered raising his voice towards her, his precious girl.
Julie stared up at him, shock and fury mixed together. She pulled her hand back, clutching the letter and scowled. "Why can't I see him, Père?" She demanded, seeking a reply to her request.
He frowned. "You don't know him for one and I don't want you hurt...He's a pirate. He's a thief in more ways then one." He may not have been the perfect father but that didn't mean he couldn't strive to protect what was his...
Julie just huffed and flew back inside the house to lock herself in her room. She tucked her prized letter under her pillow before she moved for the window and peered out of it. She unlatched it to escape the house, determined to see her pirate friend/crush before he was to be gone for months on a ship. With only a little bit of trouble, she managed to get out of room and was on her way....
Dyvim quietly followed her from being outside, the dragon corsea being the protective big brother wanted to know where she was going.
Asher was left feeling rather dumbfounded. He had expected her to obey him, not retreat. Almost with rage he followed after her, moving swiftly up the stairs, the only moving thing being his hair as it gave glimpses to the scars beneath the golen mane. He went to Julie's door and pounded on it. "Julianna, open the door..."

The tall sun taned elf pirate, Raguel was standing on the docks and inspecting the repair work done on the outer hull. His ice blue eye scanned each board and inspected each repair he had ordered dun. His muscular arms crossed as he nodded his approval to the men and let them go enjoy themselves in town. He knew they hated him sometimes but it was the only way to keep order, at least thats what the last Bo'Sun had taught him.
He thought back to his early abuse of the pilot and sighed. He hadn't ment to do damage to Zubi but the man did try his patience quite often. He just hoped his letter to Julianna arrived safely and that he would catch her face in the crowd the next day. A smile crossed his lips as he thought of the young girl, perhaps he was her first crush. Ah, he remembered his, a cute girl in the court. But alas, he was not of her standards and thus broke his heart for the first time as well. Most likely he would break Julianna's heart if she seriously set her mind to having him for her own. His only romantic interest right now was Keita, and the man would most likely be upset with him once Zubi complained about him.
"Alright lads, make sure those sails a good and tight."

((I have no idea how it looks so I'm going off the top of my head))
Julianna made it to the sands of the land that would surround the docks. Her ribbons barely touched the ground as she raced forward, catching sight of someone standing near ships. She hoped it was Raguel and dashed to see if it was.
Dyvim, who was only just a little faster, continued to follow her before he too saw and grabbed her. "Julianna...." He whispered in a slight harsh tone.
Julie yelped when she was grabbed and whirled to strike before finding out it was Dyvim Tvar who had caught her. "Let me go...I have to see him..."
"Why?" He asked, not releasing her to go make a fool of herself. He had examples of love from Jay and Asher and Raven...he was certain it wasn't love she was experiencing.
Julie fussed and tried to wiggle her way out of his grasp but alas a dragon was stronger then a fairy and barely sweated in holding her. "I have to see him...before he leaves for the sea..."
Dyvim frowned. "He's not for you, Julia..." He murmured.

The pirate heard the yell of a woman and turned his head to find it. Though he was a stealer of kisses under the moonlight and gentle carresses in the evening, he was a gentleman when it came to women in all other respects. His cold gaze finally found the one making the noise and was surprised to see sweet Julianna being held by some sort of dragon.
"Julianna, are you alright? What's going on?" The tall strong man walked over with a frown. Julianna didn't seem to happy at being held by this dragon.
"You let go of her this instant! What right do you have to restrain her?"

A small growl of warning issued from Dyvim as he glared at the pirate.
"What right do you have to my sister?" He still hadn't let go...
Julianna glanced up to what she thought to be her pirate. "Raguel..."
Dyvim glanced to Julie. "He's not for you Julianna..."

"I make no claim on your sister. But I will not allow a woman to be held against her will." He smiled softly at Julianna before frowning again as the young dragon proceeded to tell her how to feel.
"You may be her brother but you have no right to tell her who is for her and who isn't. That's her heart's decision. Now let her go, if you truly loved your sister you'd trust her." He was ready to fight the little monster if he persisted in upsetting Julianna.

Dyvim growled again.
"Fine but if you break her heart you can deal with her tears...I tried warning her and so did Asher."
Julie tugged her hand free, to which Dyvim released reluctantly.
"Perhaps it will be a good thing you leave..." He whispered harshly.
Julie slapped Dyvim who just stared at her, anger but hurt staring back at her. She darted back behind Raguel, suddenly just wanting on ship.
Dyvim touched his cheek gently, hissing softly at the sting before glaring at Raguel, finding that to be his fault. "If she won't listen to us, then she'll listen to you..."

"I will speak with her."
He turned around and wrapped his strong tan arms around the girl. All his years at sea had given him great strength but he could use it without causing any harm. He guided her gently to a small bench near the ship and sat her down. He petted her hair until she was calm.
"There there my sweet, calm yourself. Such outbursts from a lovely lady. I hadn't expected to see you until tomorrow. What is all this about? Speak to me sweet one."
Raguel had a good idea exactly what it was about. Her father didn't approve of him, like most fathers. At her age, she was rebellious and likely to do something she would regret.

She barely relaxed when she was guided away and she curled up more into him. Like any teenager, she mistook a crush for love and didn't want to obey daddy on such a topic, especially a father who was well adept in the department.
She nipped at her lip and adjusted her sleeves.
Dyvim watched his sister but didn't move from he was but crossed his arms, sulking from her slap. He wasn't going to let the pirate do anything else....not while he was watching.
She wasn't sure how she wanted to admit anything to him, not after her father and so called brother telling her no. Of course, she wasn't thinking clearly that day.
"I just got your letter and couldn't wait..." She looked down for a moment, studying her fingertips. She wanted to admit she liked him but rather then say anything she just looked back up and stole a kiss from him.
Dyvim just stared wide eyed...yet he didn't move... If she slapped him again for interfering, he would worse and simply stayed where he was, hoping the pirate knew what he was doing...

Raguel was surprised by the sudden kiss but didn't fight it. He also didn't make it last too long with the watchful eye of a brother on him. He respected the wish to protect her but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy getting kissed by pretty young girls. He smiled down at her and stroked her face with a calloused and weather worn hand.
"My dear Julianna. Have I stolen your heart so quickly?" He stroked her hair and looked her in the eye. "As I told you before I am flattered you find a rogue such as me fitting to give favor but you must give your father and brother some credit. Tomorrow, I will sail away with my ship and leave you behind. Women aren't welcome on a ship, even as a lover."
He moved kneel infront of her as he spoke. "You are still young and uneducated about the world. So you must stay here and respect the wishes of your father and brother. When you are a woman, then you may make your own choices. But don't do something you will regret, youth has a way of clouding the mind. I will return in due time and I will write to you. So do not fear losing me completely."
He leaned up to kiss her forehead then stepped away from her. "Now go with your brother and return home. If you can, come and see my off tomorrow. But remember, my first love is the sea and I will always be with her. No matter what love I find on land."

"But - " before she could finish what she wanted to say, Dyvim was already touching her shoulder. She looked up to him, frowning. She didn't want him to go...
Dyvim shook his head. "A pirate will always love the sea before anything else."
Julie just hung her head, curling up and holding onto her ribbons. She wished for a lot of things in that one minute....

"Go on Julianna. I'm only doing this to protect you, just as your father does. The sea is no place for a lady like you. Wait for me to return and we will talk more , I promise."
The pirate turned his back to them and walked back to his ship. The dragon was correct, a pirate always loved the sea and his ship before anything. Raguel's loyalty lay with his Captain. He boarded it and walked to his cabin. He knew she might be hurtting right now but he left a bit of light in her heart with the promise of his return.
