Yo. Just a heads up, I will not be here until Wensday 'cause my grandmother is kidnapping both my bro and I and taking us on a mini vacation thingie, so this is going to be my last post until I get back. See ya laters!!! ^_^

"Can you tell the two-legs one now!?" Autumnkit asked excitedly.

Copperdance smiled, this was one of her favorite stories as a kit. "Once, long ago, there was a strong warrior named Starfighter. He was a handsome bright orange tabby with a light cream colored star on his forehead.

Many cats believed that StarClan had chosen this warrior, though nobody could tell what the reason was. Starfighter also believed this, but soon his thoughts became corrupted.

At first he thought, 'StarClan must see something special about me!', but as the moons went on he began to think, 'I must be as powerful as StarClan!' for he had never lost a fight. Many cats followed him, and then he thought 'StarClan must have wanted me to join the clans as one!'.

So at the very next full moon, he stood before the leaders of the clans and announced what he thought StarClan had wished for him. The leaders didn't know what to think, but believed that StarClan would intervene if they didn't agree. They looked to the sky and there wasn't a cloud in sight. So Starfighter looked over to the clans gathered and yowled, 'If any oppose my joining the clans as one and I to be the leader of the leaders, challenge me for my title. If I lose, I will not join the clans.'

No one dared speak up, for they all knew he had never lost a fight. Suddenly, a dusty gray elder whose muzzle was worn with age stood up. 'I oppose.' She mewed simply.

Starfighter just laughed. 'You old fool, I would never fight an elder such as yourself, you'd only get hurt.'

The elder spoke louder. 'I see, you must be a coward if you wouldn't fight even me for your so-called title'.

This quickly enraged Starfighter, and he leaped at the elder. But faster than one could blink, the elder battered Starfighter, until he had lost much of his pelt. 'Do you denounce your claim to the title of leader of all the clans?' She mewed."

" 'No!' He yowled and raced towards the elder, but again she was faster and this time bit his tail. He turned to face her, and his tail ripped off.

'You have lost both your tail and much of your pelt young warrior, do you denounce your claim?' The elder asked again. And again he refused to back down.

They locked into battle again, and the elder trapped Starfighter under a root of a tree that was raised up. She stood above the root that had him pinned, 'Do you denounce your title now?' She asked again, and again he refused.

'So be it!' She yowled and clouds covered the sky, and there was a flash of lightning. With the flash of lightning the elder became who she really was, a proud and strong warrior of StarClan.

Starfighter saw who she was and tried pleading with her to spare his life, but she lifted her paw for silence. 'Starfighter, you have acted against the ways of the clans, for the clans were always meant to be separate, and as such you must be made an example of.' Lightning struck again, and in the bright light Starfighter became the first two-leg. 'Now you, and all others who try this foolish act again shall become this creature, which we shall call Two-Legs.' " Copperdance mewed and wiggled her tail, " And that is where Two-Legs first came from, from Starfighter and his followers."

Flamewind didn't know what to do. She believed in what Starclan had done, separating the clans, but she wanted the clans to have the freedom of being together. She had no idea what side to take. She stood, watching, soaking this in.

Copperdance gave a little purr of laughter. "Well....I suppose..if you really want to! What kind of story shall I tell this time?"
