Miranda does an awesomely awesome guitar solo from Revolution Deathsquad. She quicjly stops playing. Miranda hears someone or something coming up into the dormitory. "It's probably just rats." Miranda shrugs and contines to play Revolution Deathsquad, not realizing that she was getting louder and louder every second.

"Hey, now, Miranda, thats done. No need to unearth that," Mikki said with a smile. Turning to Carrigan, Mikki said, "There really are people Miranda can't stand. But with all due respect, it really is Anna's fault. I am not going to lie. But I think it's best if we don't get involved." With strong sarcasm, she added, "There could be bloodshed! It would be bad if we were around, you know, in case we get too close to the splash zone."
Mikki noticed music upstairs getting louder. Not wanting to get up because it would be too hard (seeing as she was sitting L style), she yelled "Nice solo, Miranda!"

Miranda jumped as she heard Mikki call at her. Her heart was racing because she thought no one would hear her. "Crap!" Miranda quickly shoves her guitar under her bed and tries to act normal. She shoved her guitar picks back into her pockets.

Carrigan continued to look perturbed, saying slowly, "I would appreciate it if you tried to get along, but I can't force you, Miranda..." He trailed off and stared at the fire intently, listening to Mikki and Miranda interact in the background. The music from the girl's dormitory continued to get louder and stronger, and he mused to himself who would be playing. He suspected it would be the 'other' Miranda-- since each other Ravenclaw he knew of was either already present or not in the Common Room. He sighed and shifted in his chair, uncurling his lithe body. "I think I'm going to take a walk," he said gently, trying to sound as though he wasn't attempting to escape. "I suppose I'll be back..." Carrigan's voice petered out as he stared off, "...later."
He presented Mikki with a teasing flip salute. "It was nice meeting you, Mikki." Looking at Miranda with an expression torn between concern and fondness, he nodded at her and mouthed, 'please'.
He left the Common Room.

Mikki salutes back and says "See ya laters!" She goes up the stairs and says to Miranda "You can play more, I'll stay up here and keep watch, and do volume check," and she winks.

Anna entered the dormitory and saw Miranda sitting as if she just hid something. "Hi! Was that you playing?"
(OOC: OK, Mikki, it's not really fair to say it's my fault and that I should keep it to myself if I don't like someone. She's the one who snapped at me first when I was just trying to be nice, so it's only natural that I would react in some way. And, you really shouldn't gang up on me like that if you think that Ravenclaw is a very tightly knit house.)

Miranda laughs. "OK." Miranda sees Ann. "Oh, it was Revolution Deathsquad." She jumps onto the ground and gets her guitar. She begins to play Revolution Deathsquad.

Knowing that nobody was going to be in there, seeing as Carrigan had left, Miranda kreapt upstairs to the boy's dormitory, along with her favorite book and her flute.
Curling herself up in covers on the same bed she had sat on last time she was up here, she began to read. Or rather, tried to. Her mind was racing and she couldn't concentrate. She began to argue with herself, as she often did. "Please... Please what?? What could he possibly want me to do??" She closed her book and loked out the window or a moment. There he was, alone, sitting under a tree near the edge of the forest. "If he thinks I'm going to..." Realising she was talking out loud, she stopped and finished the sentence in her head. be nice to her, he's gatta be crazy. But, I guess I should try, just to make him happy. But not now. It's so peaceful in here... After what seemed like an eternity, she drifted off.

"Sounds good", Anna said. "Have you been to the Spinner's End lately? I feel like I haven't been there for ages. Anything new going on there?"
(OOC: Sure, I'd love to get over this. OK, I have no idea why you don't like me, and I don't know how did you come to the conclusion that I don't like you. What I said about being paranoid and insecure was directed to your character, not to you as a real life person. This is a RP, so it was my character's natural response. I honestly don't have anything against you and I was never planning to make an argument out of this. If you got so angry that you feel you might be banned right now, then you're taking all this way too seriously. It's just a RP, and none of this is real. Once again, I apologize if I've said anything that offended you, it was not my intention. I don't know if you'll accept this apology, since you didn't accept the first one, but this is the most I can offer at the moment. I don't plan to keep apologizing till I die. I am being completely honest and straightforward right now, so it's your choice. You can accept it and end this all (which I'd like), or not. I really don't see what else I can do here.)

I accept your appology, and would like to offer you one in return. I know this is an RP, and that all of that was directed toward my character, not me, but I guess I got a little carried away. Sorry. sweatdrop ||
The sound of Miranda playing her guitar woke Miranda up. "Crap. Carrigan should be back soon, if he already isn't I suppose I should go try to talk to Anna.."Miranda stood up and stumbled over to the stars. Deciding that she was never going to make it down then in her current state, she walked around upstairs for a few minutes before going over to the girls dormitory.
"Hey guys. Anna, I'm really sorry about all the crap I told you earlier. You think we cold forget about it all and try to be friends? Besides, I havent properly welcomed you to Ravenclaw yet." She held her arms open, ready for an appology hug, but kept her distance in case Anna was still mad at her. "That's one thing you should knoow about me. I tend to get mad easily, but never stay mad long." she let out a huge sigh, more out of surrender than anything else. "I guess I just got a little carried away. You see, Carrigan is the first, and at the rate I'm going probably last, boyfriend I've ever had."

If it is electric, I feel canon-bound to remind you that complex electric machines do not work at Hogwarts...Anyhow. Back to roleplaying. I may have an announcement to make later on.))

Anna was pretty surprised at the sudden change in Miranda's behavior. But, it was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. "Err... sure. I would really love it if we could be friends. And... I guess things like these happen. It's no big deal." Anna was glad that she could finally put all that behind her and finally start making some friends in Ravenclaw. Besides, the term was about to start and she still didn't have any friends. She accepted Miranda's apology hug, and then asked, in surprise: "Wow, I didn't know that Carrigan was your boyfriend. I thought you just liked each other. Oh, well, I'm glad for you two." After thinking for a while, she asked: "Hey, what classes will you be taking? I signed up for Muggle Studies and DADA. I don't know... I just might sign up for all of them."

Shivering even now, as he climbed the stairs of the tower, Carrigan rubbed his arms and clenched his jaw to keep himself from shaking so much. He didn't have much of a cold resistance... it had to be warmth for him, all the way. And while it was certainly warmer now than it had been during his time as a House Elf, he was quickly adjusting and his body was making it seem cooler than it really was. The Ravenclaw pushed tentatively into the Common Room, hearing a lot of silence and that was probably a good sign.
He headed for the boy's dormitory, sneaking a glance over his shoulder for any sign of someone coming up to converse with him. He virtually scaled the stairwell and slipped into the dormitory, feeling sightly warmer in the stuffy room. He saw the sheets of one bed mussed up, and could only smile. So she'd been up here, then. Carrigan impulsively headed over to the bed and straightened it like a fussy housewife, and then went to the window. Leaning against the windowsill, he stared through the wrought glass and his gaze slowly lost focus.
