"Just because I serve one man, does not mean I won't switch alliances. Kibo and I have made no bloodpacts and I am not bound to him like his pups."
Storm eyed him, thinking.
"Why do you need crew? You said 'fleet.' Fleet means you have multipul ships. If you are in need of crew, pull some from another or stop getting ships."

Natasha eyed the newcomer suspiciously. Somehow sensing that he was untrustworthy.

Michael: "it is true, that i could probubly manage that way, but it is to dangerous a method. You see I need a large fleet, and likewise a large crew to fulfill my purpose. But i would not like to bore you with old war stories Madam Strom. If you are looking for a change in scenery please feel free to see me aboard the Santo Columbia. Thank you for the information, but i think I shall now take my leave."
*Turns to Kibo.*
Michael: "G'day Mr. Botch."
*To Natasha.*
(tips his hat.)
Michael: "Ma'am."
*Michael turns to leave the tavern through the back entrance.*

Storm shook her head.
"Seems like everyone has their own mysteries and their own vendetta's. What is your problem with Michael, Natasha?"

Kibo's desperate look fades slightly at the realization that Storm didn't seem to be trusting of this man either. He based this on the fact that she had given him a false name when he first came in. In any case, he was gone, so Kibo felt more at ease. He was somewhat confident that Michael wouldn't have done anything, but he wasn't entirely sure. He didn't make assumptions about people who made deals with the Devil.
Kibo: It's about time.
He was still uneasy. Mostly because of the tiny glimpse he caught in Storm's face when he had slumped his shoulders. Like a wolf corralling an injured lamb. 5 minutes ago, he'd have trusted Storm with his very life. Now, he wasn't sure he could trust her at all.

Storm sighed. Men and their egos.
"What's wrong, Kibo?"

Kibo: It's nothing. I'm just ruminating on how I've let my command slip so low as to simply allow my subordinates to talk back to me in such a defiant manner. What more astonishing is that I've given in to it. Had it been another Captain, you'd likely have gotten your tongue cut out for such an offense.

"Funny thing about have tounges cut out: you need to be able to catch said offender to do the cutting."
Storm smiled cheerfully.
"Unfortunetly for you, I am hard to catch. That must be part of the whole insubordinet talking back thing."

Kibo: Nah, that's not it. If I wanted you caught, you'd have been caught already. I just don't want to harm a friend.

Kibo: I don't use the term friend lightly. Very few people are my friends. Bigfoot, Ranu, even Natasha; they aren't my friends. They're my acquaintances. I can count my friends on one hand: Farind, Renji, Mary Catherine, and you. These are the people I'd gladly and willingly entrust with my very life.
These words, though sweet, were tainted with a slight amount of disdain, just enough to barely make out.
